Our hearts are broken over the tremendous loss of Elvin. Calvin stepped up to the plate and hasn't missed a beat. A few examples of their exemplary services - Our daughters car broke down leaking fluid all over the Carlisle Pike and Calvin came in clutch with the rollback and towed her car immediately to their shop. What we were expecting to hear was that the transmission was done, but after careful review it was actually a connecting piece that rusted out. Within 2 business days her car was fixed and back on the road. Our other daughters car kept throwing the service engine soon light. Calvin completed his research and quickly determined the root cause. The fix was completed the next business day and the car runs beautifully. I have have had numerous positive experiences with this family and wish only the best for them as they enter a new chapter in their lives. May God bless them in many ways as they have blessed and taken care of their customer family so well over the years. You will be missed tremendously!

I visited the area from a different state during the July 4th weekend and even being lightly staffed, took my car. Heard my concerns and not only identified the issue but addressed it! I was fortunate to have found this shop with positive reviews and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop for your auto mechanical needs. They could have taken advantage of a visitor but did not. Instead, they helped me with empathy and integrity. I can only imagine how they help support their community and "everyday" customers. What they charged me was also very respectful and value was worth it all. They saved me and my family during a holiday weekend. I can't say any more positive feedback for this shop. Their inside location was also very spacious and accommodating. Thank you again to Matt & Joel and kudos to the shop owner for the culture development.

His expertise and persistence ultimately led to finding the real problem, and he only charged us once he had successfully diagnosed it. Throughout the entire process, Todd was honest, fair, and transparent. It was clear that he genuinely cared about helping us rather than simply making a sale. His pricing was more than reasonable, and his integrity gave us complete confidence in the work being done. I also want to recognize Tim, who helped us in the office. He was kind, welcoming, and a pleasure to work with. Together, Todd and Tim provided exceptional customer service and made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. Finding a mechanic you can truly trust is rare, and Mechanicsburg Sports Car Center has earned our highest recommendation. If you own a Volkswagen and want knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely caring people working on your vehicle, this is the place to go. We will certainly be back for our future car needs!

Purchased a used Mini from Sports Car Center - Todd. Past two used car purchasing experience in my…read morelife has been a nightmare. One was from a major car dealer who basically told me that the used cars are "as is" and whatever I find wrong with the car is my responsibility. This was after I purchased the car and on the way home the check engine light came on. I was furious and knew for sure that I had been scammed. But couldn't do anything about it and they didn't even want to check to see what was wrong with the car. Long story short, the car had major oil leaking problems and water coming inside the car every time it rained. I was never going to buy another used car. But I saw a Facebook post for a particular model of Mini that I have always wanted. I went to just take a look and so I drove all the way from MD to PA. Upon getting there I met with Todd who is one of the owners of the Sports Car Center and he explained how he had done a long list of repairs and maintenances on the car. "Yea right, sure..." I was thinking. The car was beautiful. But of course it was hard to believe and trust another person who was trying to sell me a used car. But Todd seemed really honest and genuine. I also met his father who started the business and kept it going all these years. Obviously they would not have been able to do that if they would have practiced dishonest business practices over the years. After a test drive and reading a few other reviews online, I decided to get the car. For at least a week I was on the edge, every time I would find something not quite right or hear a funny engine sound I would call Todd. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, he returned my call promptly and explain things and worked with me to make things right or to give me assurances that there is nothing wrong with the car. It has been an incredible experience considering the Mini was 13yrs old. Everything could have gone wrong and a terrible disaster. But now, I feel very comfortable and know that I purchased the car as described and promised by the seller for the first time in a long time. I would buy another car if I need to at Sports Car Center from Todd. And I would highly recommend anybody to buy a car from Todd at Sports Car Center or get repairs done knowing you really can trust this Shop. Even though I live in MD I plan to go up to Sports Car Center for all my repairs. Thanks again Todd

Fortunately for…read moreme, unfortunately for my kid, I knew all about these wanna-be mechanics from a few years back. Long story short - their head mechanic didn't know how to check oil properly on her Nissan crossover? (name escapes me) Three times in the shop and they tell her the oil is over full. I go in, act dumb and ask if they could show me how to check the oil since I got blamed for it anyway "your dad is over filling it" Stooge pulls dip stick and proclaims "see overfill again by twice" Me - "flip that dip stick over" Dude had no words because the other side had NOTHING on it because they drained 5 quarts the day before because "it was overfilled" I promptly asked the gentleman "if you toss a stick in a bucket of oil, is it possible to only get oil on one side of said stick?" Note: these cars/engines have an oil drain back hole directly above the dip stick which covers it with oil several inches up the stick, on one side. Even a moron knows to wipe the stick and reinstall to check and look at both sides. A not-so-certified village idiot should know these cars are best checked after they have sat awhile, regardless this poor village idiot was happy to run out 5 minutes after we arrived and check it without ever having a towel in mind. Way to go imbecile. Needless to say, it never left the place and the motor was hammering because they told her to run it and I want putting oil in it again for them to blame me for overfilling. A few days later we stopped in and find in an attempt to get the warranty co to pay for a motor, they blew it up. The one lucky actually told us what they were doing. Obviously totally oblivious to the fact he was saying they were trying to commit insurance fraud. Good luck if you go here or if, like my kid, AutoMax sends you here because their shop is backed up. These geniuses will fix your vehicle right up like Dewey, Cheatum & Howe, attorneys at law would fix you up on legal issues. Well, that statement isn't fair.
