You really got to come here at the right time. The service is good and price is reasonable but if there are more than 3 cars in any given line, you're not getting out of there for at least an hour and a half. I like being able to get an oil change on a whim. I didn't have to wait more than 30 minutes. My car was pulled into the garage right away. The prices have gone up. You can google Jiffy Lube $10 coupons & have one sent to your phone. The bathroom was being redone. There weren't paper towels or soap. read more

Brought my car to the Jiffy Lube on New Hampshire for an oil change and top off of the coolant when they opened at 8am today. (First. sign things were not going to go well...they didn't have enough staff to open the shop at their posted open time.) No other issues with the car, everything was running fine. By the time I left at 11am, with my car on the back of a tow truck, my car would not start. The shop initially tried to sell me a new battery, but after reluctantly asking them to provide a new one they plugged it in and it still did not start. So at some point between when my car entered the shop and when I had it towed a way, and while the technicians at the Jiffy Lube were working under the hood, something happened. The manager very clearly wanted to take 0 responsibility for the outcome, providing inconsistent answers to my questions on what work they did to my car. I'll never be using Jiffy Lube again, and strongly suggest you at least avoid this shop. Updating my review after the initial post: Mark the District Manager reached out via comment on my original review and was incredibly responsive to my concerns. After providing details from my mechanic, he was able to issue me a payment for the full amount of the repairs I incurred after my visit. I am incredibly impressed by his responsiveness, and sincerely appreciate his willingness to resolve the issue. Mistakes happen, and customer service to mitigate them like this means a lot. Shout out Mark and his team for going the extra mile to find a resolution. read more

Sitting here in line watching employees move so slow it's like a spoof. Have had an empty space in front of my car and the 2 lanes on either side of me ready to go for 15 minutes and no one telling me or the others to pull up. I can't put into words how slowly these kids are moving. No one running the show here like other locations. Tick tock. Finally someone showed up to check in cars. Been sitting for 25 min now. I asked what's going on? She said she doesn't know-- she was on break. Haha. So when the check-in person went on break they didn't have anyone checking folks in. Bad management here, at least today. My family and I took our SUV to this Jiffy Lube on a Friday late morning. The service took 1 hour and 45 minutes which is NOT "jiffy". Later that day we drove our car on the freeway and felt shaking and could hear weird sounds. We pulled over and they had failed to replace the locking lug nut after they rotated our tires and an additional tire all all loose lug nuts! SO DANGEROUS! I'm grateful our tire stayed on while driving. When we called to tell them later their customer service was terrible and they made zero efforts to right their wrong. Bottom line: UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR AND UNACCEPTABLE WAIT TIME. I don't typically write reviews, but I thought my experience at this Jiffy Lube was worth noting for others. I arrived at the location around 4pm for an oil change and there were two cars ahead of me. After 20 minutes an attendant took my information and I left my vehicle and waited in the parking lot, but sat on the curb since the only table available for customers to sit was full. I patiently waited for 1.5 hours before I asked for an update. The technician told me it should not take much longer. I waited another HOUR (on the parking lot curb) then I asked for another update. Again, they said that it should be done soon and they were still trying to get the cap off my oil tank. After another 30 minutes (this puts my total wait time at about THREE HOURS) I approached them again, and this time they said they broke the oil cap when removing it from the tank and it would not be finished that evening. I was left with no car, a dead phone battery since I had to occupy myself for three hours waiting, and very little communication. I was forced to uber home from the location and go back the next day to pick it up when they had fixed everything. I understand things happen, but the sheer lack of communication and disregard for customers' time was very frustrating and unacceptable. At no point did someone approach me to give me an update or acknowledge the immense inconvenience this caused. I would caution anyone from going to this place. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I had the worst experience here and I didn't even get serviced. I waited almost an hour just to talk to someone about an oil change. I had to get out of my car and approach someone because they kept overlooking me and servicing the cars around me. I was met with a nasty attitude from the manager there. I've always had great experiences with Jiffy Lubes. The benefit of going there is you don't need appointments and once you're in, it's a quick in and out while you're sitting in your car. The bad news this time is I waited over an hour and half today. There wasn't much of a line. Not sure why things were moving so slowly. The good news is that all of the employees were very nice and responsive. They even cleaned my windows and vacuumed my car while I waited. Because the people who work here were so great at customer service, I'll try coming back again to see if waits are always this long. I have been to several Jiffy Lube locations and they have generally been quick and efficient- but NOT here. This is by far the WORST JL location I have been to. This is like the DMV of oil change! Took me over 90 mins to get a simple routine oil change on a WEEKDAY. I have never waited more than 30 minutes for an oil change but that changed today. The only reason why am giving this location more than one star is because the staff is courteous when they FINALLY call your name. If you like to wait and wait some more- then come on down to this Jiffy Lube location. If not RUN. If you are really that BUSY then hire some more people there are many young kids out there who are looking for jobs-in fact- one walked in while I spent my hours waiting and complained he put in an application and never got called back. Jiffy Lube has been my go-to oil change service provider since I bought my car. I usually go to the Bladensburg Road, Md branch but it was closed today so I ended up at the Takoma, MD branch. It has never been a problem redeeming coupons on their signature service as well as receiving a credit for bringing my own oil. After i turned down all of their upsells and In a last-ditch effort to get the max money out of me, The Takoma Branch refused to take my coupon and didn't give me a credit for bring my own oil. I paid $44.31 at Takoma for the exact service rendered at Bladensburg MD for $34. In fact, the service was worse, I waited 1 hr longer than I usually do and my back seat was dirtier than when I brought it in. I feel like I paid more for less! The manager was not empathetic and offered the sorry excuse that all jiffy lubes are not the same. Different branches set their own prices and he will not be able to apply the coupon because i brought my own oil - which to me is saving him $$. Unkind manager's like him get real feisty and vengeful when customers pull out their coupons. All of a sudden theyre not accepted. I've been to multiple Jiffy Lube stations and this is by far, the WORST experience I've had. Other places will efficiently tell you to drive into the car stall when it is open and available as well as allow you to remain in the car while the oil change is being performed for customer convenience and satisfaction. This Jiffy Lube service store did not provide any customer satisfaction perks. Also, I asked for the prices of the oil change Including the cheapest oil price they offer. I was told $69 was the cheapest so I agreed. Then I asked if I could pay ahead of service with a credit card and the lady attendant denied my request because people can ONLY pay at completion of service. Whaaaaaat?!?! However, THANK the oil change service god for her denying me because I started reading reviews on yelp and realized the price gauging happened to another fellow Yelp'er. With my new found knowledge, I asked again about the oil change prices which she told me that I was correct and there was an oil change for $45. Why was this price not offered at the beginning when I specifically asked?! ‍ I find this entire experience very concerning because the service attendant was not transparent by any means, tried to swindle me out of money, and lacked customer service skills. Came in early, 8:20 am on a Saturday. They were very courteous an greeted me politely. Explained all the services and options clearly. I got tires rotated with oil change, they finished in about 15 mins! Car was vacuumed excellently, including my child's car seat which her straps were left open and out which made it easier to strap her inside. Windows were cleaned real good. When I got in the car my check engine light came on, I wasn't too alarmed, they reset it and explained how when they replaced the air filter that may have happened. I left super very satisfied with the service and I will come back. I received a call from the store manager who asked me to come back when I get a chance so he can check the installation of the air filter to ensure the check engine light will not turn on. Heed everyone's else's advice and DO NOT GO HERE! I have gone to Jiffy Lube's all over the country and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. It started after I received my oil change and tire rotation. I was driving back home and realized there were black smudges and marks all over my tan seats. I knew right away what had happened, when they vacuumed my floor they sat on the seats with their dirty clothes without putting anything down. I immediately called Jiffy Lube and told them what happened. I spoke with a Raul and he said bring it back in and I will clean it. I drove back up there and I had to go in while my gf waited in the car so get further instructions. One of the Jiffy Lube workers got in my car. My gf asked if she should get out and he responded "you dont have to, you can sit and talk to daddy if you would like." She was mortified and quickly got out of the car. The guy cleaned the seats with some kind of cleaner, and proceeded to get back in the car with his dirty clothes and left SPOTS IN THE DRIVER SEAT!!! We finally just decided to leave and bring it up with corporate. They did not offer a voucher or anything else. I will not be going back and I urge you to not go there at all. I'm going to be honest, this is my first oil change in the DMV but I feel like jiffy lube pulled a fast one. A regular oil change is $43 there, the next step up is $66, and the next one is $93. $93 allegedly improves engine performance, gas performance and you don't need an oil change for 5-6 thousand miles. $66 only improves your engine performance and you need an oil change in 4 thousand miles, and apparently you only get best wishes with a regular oil changes and they will see you on 3 thousand miles. I purchased my car a few months ago so I don't want any problems but $100 for an oil change seems ridiculous. They got me today but i will do my research and likely just take the car to the dealership for that price. Ree-damn-diculous! They will not be seeing me in 5-6 thousand miles. They will not be seeing me again but I have a road trip tomorrow so they win this battle but they won't be getting return business at that price. read more

The service is ridiculously slow. I was the first car outside of the bay and it took 3 hours for them to replace a headlight. There is a mask mandate in this area and more than half of the staff here was not masked as required in the store. If you choose not to wait inside because of people being masked you have to wait outside in full sun (no shade available) and someone next door is always burning trash. Find another place for an oil change Just paid $92 for their supposed signature oil change. Hopefully they used the correct oil. Car was not vacuumed nor windows cleaned as advertised. Most disturbing was the sign on door stating "Masks Required" . Two customers sat inside with no masks, but that's on them, however the employee checking people out had no mask. And I noted people were being asked to use jiffy lubes laptop keyboard in bay to type in new address etc. The vehicle I took.in was new to us so they did not have info. I refused to use their keyboard after I watched 4 other people use if before me. No hand sanitizer in sight. Suppose that's why I didn't get complete service. Will not be going back. read more

He usually changes my oil and takes care or my car but before that I used Jiffy Lube in Springfield VA (much better...wish i had done the drive...next time i won't make the mistake of using this place) I thought everything was fine until I left the place... I asked for an oil change with standard oil. They put standard oil in my car and charged me for premium! They also charged me for an oil filter that I didn't need! Mine had just been replaced. I used to have Honda Care (2013 Honda Civic) and never had to worry about oil changes, but that ran out at 3 yrs and I've been dreading finding a place. After much procrastiantion, I drove by on a Friday afternoon and made a last minute decision to stop in. I told the attendant who came up to my car (immediately upon pulling in), I just want an oil change, how much do you charge. He said about $67 for synthetic oil, and I said okay lets get this over with. I'd called MANY places and been quoted everything from $65-105...at this point I knew it was right within market value and just wanted to stop worrying about it. After only about 30 minutes of waiting they'd done an oil change, changed my oil filter, topped off all of my fluids and even vaccummed out my car and washed the windows! (Something that hasnt been done since I moved to Chevy Chase from NC over a yr ago!) It was quick, fast, and affordable. Honda takes HOURS so I was so thrilled with the speed! I wont go anywhere else in the future! No gimmicks, no games, just quick, reliable service! read more

It started when I pulled up and was greeted by a friendly employee who told me to make myself at home. He grabbed the waiting room door for me and even came by later to keep the coffee fresh for all of us. The technician who called me to the garage explained the options I had and even suggested ways to save a bit of money on my visit. The manager was called over, chided the employee by asking "Are we in Alaska?" and forcing him to answer. Right in front of me! The employee still was choosing the wrong oil for my car and I had to correct him. The manager came over again and this time gave me attitude before figuring out that I was right.
