UPDATED 12:37 pm, 8/5/15: The shop set up an appointment for a technician to fix the windshield. As I believe the incident was isolated, my review now reflects the requested work, the management of this establishment, and the character of the employees and business when resolving a customer service issue. Good work Jiffy Lube, I would highly recommend this shop. ------------------------- 8/5/15 - This review would have been a five star rating for the service speed and excellent team leader. UNFORTUNATELY: Immediately after our vehicle was serviced, we got in and found that the front windshield had been cracked in the center toward the driver's side. We were told that a report would be filed and that we would be contacted. We contacted them the next morning (8/5/15) for them to let us know that they could only offer us a refund for the oil change. We are currently waiting for the manager to contact corporate and call us back. read more

I took my 2014 Toyota Camry to get an oil change on 4/11/26. Guess what? They forgot to put oil in the car. My car's internals are damaged. My car is a now a ticking time bomb thanks to the wonderful team at Jiffy Lube. Thanks for draining my oil and not replenishing it with oil that I paid for. Sadly, I didn't think to check the oil before hand because I trusted that the oil change was done properly- I thought my issue was a belt. Turns my belts are perfect but my motor is jacked. If I could give NO STARS, I would. Don't go here. They will destroy your vehicle. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS AND AVOID THE REAL ISSUE. The paper says "everything is good to go" I came in with a squeaking problem in my car, and told them I've had issues with a belt and just need that replaced. They then did the car check, and said it's the breaks. Charged me $600 for my front breaks and tightened my belt. Well now my breaks are rattling, my belt snapped off yesterday while driving. And they told me basically "oh no we didn't listen to the actual problem, but we can't do anything." Like be foreal. You just wanted to get your store goals and take peoples money. I have the names of the people who worked on the said vehicle. DO NOT GO HERE. The older gentleman yes was nice, but once he got back from the test drive. He tells us we have a rattling, squeezing, and grinding. Like that is fine?!?! read more

Went in for an oil change today. It went great also the customer service was amazing and friendly.

We had a very good experience. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and answered any questions that we had. Extremely professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend! read more

I usually don't review places like this, but I had a really great experience here at this location. I stopped by on a weekday around 2pm to get my oil changed and there was no line. The whole process took 10 minutes, the employees working were extremely nice and patient with me. Once everything was finished the lady helping me added a local coupon that took off a good amount of money. I really appreciated this because 99% of the time businesses don't add coupons unless you mention it first. I will definitely be returning to this location in the future. read more

I came for an oil change. Their service was fast and employees are very kind! Definitely recommend this location!

Been getting our oil changes done here, thanks to Rob and the guys for being so helpful and quick with the job. Just got my alternator replaced and it couldn't have been any faster, everyone here is kind and very knowledgeable! Will continue to come back, thanks again! read more

I have went to them for over a decade and the last two times they serviced an oil change they messed up both my vehicles and refunded me and also ordered me a new part for the part they forgot to put on. IM DONE. read more

Since I moved to Tacoma this is the only place I take my car for maintenance. The staff is super friendly super informative and not pushy about services. They suggest what you need and don't push you any further to get it. I will always trust this Jiffy Lube with my car. You should as well. Great job to all of the staff here!! I'm scared to go anywhere especially the mechanic! They were so nice, I pulled right in and didn't have to get out of my car. Which is a nice change for once. The process was smooth and fast highly recommend for my more introverted people! read more

So I took my new car there (a low level chevy) for a simple oil change. Not even a full synthetic oil change - $80?!?! Crazy. But I paid as I figured they would take care of all of the other stuff on the list for a signature oil change and service. Sad thing is, they didn't. All of my tires were at least 7 PSI under the recommended setting for air pressure after I left (I checked them over the weekend after, as I had the TPMS letting me know my tires were low), they were going to start filling my engine with oil BEFORE changing out the oil filter (I actually had to stop them), my coolant level was low and they hadn't added any, even though they're supposed to top off all fluids. Again, it's a very common chevy, and yet they didn't stock my oil filter. I had to wait for them to have one delivered. The guys were nice enough for certain, but the service was severely lacking when considering what I paid. Won't be back. read more

Technicians were quick, efficient, and courteous. They explained exactly what they were doing and did not speak down to me when I didn't understand something. I will be returning for future services. read more

The last time I was there, I had lost my sticker that informs me when I need my next oil change, and I was worried that I was overdue. Tiffany helped me that day, and she was fantastic. I told her to use the least expensive because I was short on money. She said okay, but first decided to check the computer for my last service and informed me that my oil change wasn't due anyways. She offered to check my oil, though, and it was low, so she topped it off for me, free of charge as it always is. I really appreciated her lookin out for me like that. Thanks, Tiffany, and Jiffy Lube for employing such great people. read more

Never write reviews for any store but they definitely deserve recognition. I was expecting an hour or two wait but was in n out in less than 20 min. Over hearing the communication and professionalism showed by Quentin, Marty, Kobey, and Robert was very impressive and unexpected. I made a comment to who I can only imagine was the shift leader at the time and he said he holds his guys to a high standard and they don't mess around. It was awesome to see a team work very efficiently and effective to make what may seem a simple oil change happen, but they worked around it like I was the only vehicle in the world that needed to get worked on and they were gonna make it happen no matter what. Definitely recommend. read more

Fantastic. Had oil & filter changed, replaced air filter & replaced serpentine belt. That was a job. As I sat in my car I watched them like a dental team headed by Dr Joe Boxer (Rob) fighting to pull out the old one and reef the new one into place. All work done in less than 30 minutes. The entire process from making appt with Tiffany to getting work done is run like a we'll oiled machine. THANKS TEAM. Judith & Richard Nelson Definitely refer others to you. read more

I took a car in for an oil change That i know nothing about, that I inherited to this location today. The staff was amazing, they were honest, professional, efficient and made me feel like I wasn't stupid for not knowing the lingo. Thank you for making me feel comfortable to come back and be able to trust your business! They also performed like a team and it was amazing to sit in my car and watch as they worked hard! I highly recommend everyone to come to this location!! read more

Do you ever have those moments where you pat yourself on the back for making a great decision? Well, I am having a moment! I switched shops one day and now my back is getting sore from all the patting. I have never written a review, but here it is! My last experiences with the quality people at this Jiffy Lube have exceeded my expectations! They are friendly, competent, and I have the highest confidence in their work and quotes. Thank you, Rob!, today for fixing my thermostat in record time, and again, confidence in your work and final cost. We old ladies love finding gems like you. :) read more

Went today at 5:15pm and so thankful for the cleanliness and positivity of the team. I went in around 5:15pm to see if they weren't too busy and could fit me in before closing & they were SO nice about it!! I have been nervous about going anywhere considering COVID-19, but all the team members were super safe with masks and/or respecting distancing-- even in the 80 degree heat-- so impressive! I was able to wait in my car, but Daniel B. was awesome talking me through my oil change and the team talking together on all checklist items to get things done super efficiently-- I think I was there all of 20 mins. Thank you to the team today-- CSA: Tiffany W, Upper Bay: Daniel B, Team Lead: Robert B. You all rock! read more

Great value and speedy service (oil change). Jonathan was super nice and kept us up to date with all the process as we were hearing the team work on the car. Will definitely be back again! read more

Fast workers, polite, and professional. Went in for an oil change today. More than happy with my visit.

Great, friendly, speedy service. I originally went to the JL on 72nd, but it was packed. Fortunately, this one was only 10 minutes away. The staff (especially Rob) was upbeat and helpful. Usually, I don't like other things being pointed out when I just came for an oil change, but it was helpful to know that my coolant was low and the windshield wiper fluid container was cracked. He also took the time to press the sticker firmly onto the window (it tends to fall off) and mention a new headlight service (without being pushy about it). All in all, I like this one better than the one on 72nd and plan to make it my new oil change spot. read more

I very much dislike jiffy lube and their lack or even decent service. Took car in for an air conditioning service first it takes over an hour to get anything done then they say "ok to fix it will cost 130 that's after your $30 discount" ok ok sounds good "ok and it just needs to be recharged or can you tell if theirs any other issues?" To that he says "we test it for leaks no other issues just a recharge" awesome!! I'm not a mechanic so I assume after talking to him and asking that a couple times he must know what he's talking about..... NOPE he was WRONG and now I am without A/C in my car on the hottest days so far this summer. Manager never apologized for inconvenience and said "well I guess I can recharge it for you" uuuuuummmmm how about No since you sucked to begin with by telling me you test for leaks and that's why their is a wait time for me. Definitely not ever going back to a jiffy lube. read more

I had my oil changed there. They talked me into a new battery and radiator flush. A month later and I have had 2 repairs on my car... 1. They snapped the connection to the battery terminals. 2. My radiator overheated and needed to be replaced. This deal has now cost me an additional $600 in repairs. I feel like such an idiot for going there. Never again. read more

I had an oil change at this location on January 18th, 2020. Shortly after leaving, my car lost all power. The engine had seized. There was not a drop of oil on the dipstick. Car was towed per their request to nearest automotive repair shot. There was no oil filter present on my car. The engine was destroyed for a total cost of $4,006 to repair. Jiffy refused to pay for the repair of my destroyed vehicle. They only offered $1,200-$1,500. Jiffy provided a rental car for 1 month for a total of $3,800, $300 more would have repaired my car or to go towards purchasing a new vehicle. On February 27th, 2020 I was forced to return the rental leaving me without a vehicle. To this date, Jiffy Lube has yet to rectify this situation. Complaint filed. read more

Daniel and the boys did an amazing job ! They were all super friendly and got the job done fast and installed everything perfectly.

If I could give 0 stars, i would. I showed up 10 minutes before they opened and waited. When they started opening the Bay Area at 8:00 I waited until they were done. As they were opening the final doors someone drove straight up to them and they started checking him in. When I pulled up he said "it'll be an hour wait, he pulled up first" I said I was waiting for them to finish opening the doors and the staff member said well he pulled up first so he's first...Seriously?! I left. Ridiculous when they knew I was there waiting (one staff even told me as I waited till be about 5 minutes (it was 7:55).. never will I return to this store, and I bring in 5 Cars read more

This was the easiest time I have ever had getting my car serviced. We were in and out within 15 minutes. They changed my oil, washed my windows and vacuumed my car (going the extra mile and vacuuming my sons car seat). Mariah was super knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. It will definitely be my go to for future services! read more

This place is very dishonest and shady. They will lie to you and charge you for work that was never done. Basically they cracked my windshield then wanted to charge it to my insurance to fix it. I inspected the crack and there was tiny broken pieces of glass right next to it and there were two tiny chips - one resulting in a crack. I think they did it! How can you have two dings right next to each other, with shards of glass still next to it? THESE PEOPLE ARE SHADY LIARS AND DESERVE ZERO STARS!! JIFFY LUBE SUCKS. YOU ARE BANNED FOR LIFE. YOUR BUSINESS MODEL IS A JOKE. read more

This is the only Jiffy Lube I ever go to! I've had horrible experiences in the past with these shops but this shop in specific has changed my entire experience. Right when I pulled in I was greeted immediately by a younger gentleman who introduced his self as Chaz I believe, he answered all of my questions and concerns honestly and prepared me for my services. My service was quick and efficient which is all that I ask for. Thank you so much! I'll definitely be back on the near future for all of my vehicle maintenances! read more

By far the best Jiffy Lube I've been to. They got me in and out really quick, and they even did their research on my car to see if the extended mileage oil would be good for my car. I have a Mazda Rx8 and it can not use any oils with additives, they recommended the conventional oil. read more

So on top of the review below I try to follow the advice from the Jiffy Lube employer who told me to call and speak to someone (again...?), speak to someone who tells me that they would pass the information on to the manager who NEVER contacted me to even acknowledge the complaint. Today was my second time coming to this location and I can confidently recommend them to anyone! They are so kind and I have never had a shorter wait time at any other location! They never pressure me to add on anything to my purchase, they just give recommendations which I appreciate. The guy who works at the counter, Blake S. is kind, efficient and informative. I come here for oil changes always very polite and knowledgeable I appreciate that kind of customer service always great !

I went in there today and I have a fleet account for my construction company, and they were not giving me the fleet discount so I had to go through a big deal with the employee there who claims to be the manager and finally I ended up getting the correct pricing. There was only one car in the bag that they were working on currently and the other two were empty. Then she told me it would be 20 to 30 minutes before they could even get to my vehicle and apparently unknowingly I rolled my eyes and then she started yelling at me about I rolled my eyes at her and I could just deal with it. At which point I told her I don't have to be treated like that at any place and I will take my business elsewhere. It was a very heated discussion and I told her I'd had other problems there like they stripped out the oriole pan on my wife's car and we went through many problems and this is not the only time I've had a problem there and I won't be back read more
