After calling Valvoline to make a claim, they said I would get a call back. Instead I had to call again after 4 days without hearing back from them. Ralph, the area manager, was absolutely rude and unapologetic. He is not a good representative of this company.

First, I called to check on prices, explained it was full synthetic for a 2019 KIA Sorento V6. I was quoted $83 and offered a coupon for $25 off, bringing it down to $68. I went to the fish Hatchery location at 9:30am, after waiting for 5 mins a service person came out and told me they were temporarily closed because he was the only one who showed up, offered for me to head to the Whitney Way location. So I did, was third in line. Service person came to me after 5 mins of waiting and asked me to come back in 20 mins. So I did. When I came back, the price I was quoted over the phone wasn't the price at the service center. It was a whopping $132... includes a $5 shop service charge and $11/quart over 5 (not unusual for addl cost but pricey-- and I have a 6.3qt system, they round up to the next qt!) They also took an HOUR to complete the service and tried to not put on my bottom skid plate, offering to place it in my trunk with the bolts instead!!! I repeat... I scheduled my appointment with ease for an oil change, and they called me during the process to let me know that my coolant was low, told me the price it would be to top it off ($5), and let me make the choice whether or not to do it. I also asked them to do a code scan for a check engine light, and they went above and beyond. They did extensive investigation, downloaded new software to complete it (as I have an Italian car), and left no stone unturned to assure me that the motor was running fine and the code was related to a software issue with my adaptive cruise control. Then I go to Christian brothers and they offer to do an inspection. No thanks Zimbrick just did one a bit ago Today. Later, an Employee comes out and says I have an oil leak and for $140 they can inspect for the problem. No thanks. After oil change I drive away and smell oil. Go to my cousin two miles away and we open the hood to oil spilled all over the engine. I drive back to Christian brothers and the mechanic admits his funnel burped and oil spilled. Didn't bother to clean it up until I took it back. Ends up there isn't an issue with an oil leak, it was the oil he spilled running down under the car.
