He said sorry we can't help, we were told to just install the parts" they didn't even diagnose the issue they just wanted to make a quick $500! after talking back and forth the General Manager says "you want your f***n money back or what" I then tell him since you want to be disrespectful yes! He said we'll talk Monday and walked away.   Monday comes no call, I leave 3 VM. I went Tuesday and he was very upset that I was there he said sorry the Owner left overseas and I can not refund you until 1 week. Made no sense! He then calls the COPS to my house and says he was scared for his life and Banned me from the shop. Keep in mind I've been going there for 4-5 Years and recommended them many times. I make a claim with the bank to dispute the charges and I get my refund. It is now 12/27/24 about a month later and I NOW I'm being charged $500 again the $500. I said i wasn't going to do the review but all this headache when the GM said we will issue a refund and now they are playing games. You can find them - new I might add, on e-bay for 50 bucks. I feel they took advantage of her because she is a woman and assumed she doesn't know any better. There are plenty of way better auto repair shops in the area who are honest, trustworthy and cheaper. I gave one star since 0 stars is not an option.

I needed a new tire and had my vehicle towed to Hammers as it was the closest place to my house…read more The repair was completed in a timely manner - however, two weeks after getting an alignment and four new tires from them (as my other tires were quite old and in need of replacement) my front axle snapped while I was driving home from the store. It had apparently rusted through and the car is now undrivable. I did receive a report of the base inspection after services had already been completed which did not indicate any danger of my axle snapping. I do believe that the services rendered by Hammers were done properly but had I known that the vehicle was that close to death, I would not have let them talk me into replacing all the tires. When we discussed the tire options, it sounded like the vehicle would last at least until winter as snow was brought up multiple times when discussing what would fit on my vehicle. In total I spent roughly $1000 dollars to be able to drive my car for thirty more miles. Not worth it. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
