Do yourselves all a favor and just take your car to Best Price Auto, it's right down the road from here. Came in and ONLY wanted an oil change. They offered and recommended a coolant flush, another 150 on top of the 135 I paid for an oil change. Once I declined the service, they finished up and sent me on my way. I planned to do the flush myself. Right as I get home my car starts OVERHEATING. Popped my hood to a complete mess. Coolant was dripping from my radiator and all over my liner. There's oil all over my engine bay. When I called and told the mechanics what was happening they said "ITS YOUR FAULT FOR DECLINING THE RECOMMENDED SERVICE AND YOUR CAR ISNT TAKEN CARE OF, BYE." And hung up. What do yall get out of destroying the coolant system in a 17 year olds first car? On top of all this I was made to believe it was my fault for not accepting the overpriced service? The guys here are completely unprofessional, sagging pants, leaving engine bays messy, left windshield fluid cap and coolant reservoir caps open, and hanging up on paying customers. ***DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Or frankly, any Jiffy Lube*** I went to Riverhead, NY location on 5/4/24 requesting a full synthetic oil change for my 2019 Buick Encore (high mileage engine). During my service I was offered a coolant flush, in which, I agreed to. Being that I've had my car for a year and never had done it yet, I thought it was smarter to do as the gentlemen described I could overheat my engine. The services were performed (Invoice #332347781) and I get back to my driveway, ran in the house, came back out and noticed a bit of fluid under my car. I thought no big deal sometimes some oil gets dripped. The week goes on and it was warmer out so I was using AC; noticing more fluid Monday and Tuesday, but on blacktop I thought it's just the AC condensation. Come Thursday 5/9, my hood is rattling, engine is overworking due to OVERHEATING! I pop open the hood and see absolutely no coolant in the tank. It all leaked out since I had the flush Saturday. I had to throw water in, went back to location 5/9 @ 4:30pm and explained to the person working what has happened since the flush. Turned air on and off, revved engine, and they could see the leak; but could not tell me what the issue may be or know how to diagnose! I was told the manager "Jack B." was the one who did it as it's on the invoice and he would have to look at it, and QUOTE: "Well he is also not answering calls tonight". The employee tried to reach him no answers. Pretty unprofessional, if you ask me... They took my name and phone number and said I can expect a call back from him on the next day - Friday 5/10, to then bring it in for him to diagnose or work something out.. AT THE VERY LEAST. I have called multiple times from two separate numbers to reach Riverhead, NY location and no one has answered. Only consistent rings. Again, pretty unprofessional here on no call back and no answers. I then reached out to the corporate number who assisted me in creating a Case with the District Manager, and I hope they actually did enter a Case ticket... losing my warm and fuzzies as well as patience as we speak... due to the flush & leak incident, NO TRUE ASSISTANCE from location, no answers, no call backs, etc. I will be heading to the location shortly around my lunch time, WITH WATER IN MY COOLANT TANK AS IT WAS BONE DRY!!! I was expecting call backs and still am. I will also be expecting assistance upon arrival with diagnosing whom caused the issue and/or working something out to get my money back. I am extremely disappointed and becoming beyond frustrated as I do visit this location routinely for oil changes and have always left satisfied even left positive reviews one around this time last year being that I was impressed. Not so much this time... PLEASE MAKE THIS RIGHT! ASAP!!!! I do not need this to cause a blown head gasket or issues with my engine because of carelessness and unprofessionalism!!! This will likely be the last time I visit and discontinuing any recommendations of "fast, reliable service" to anyone I know. The impression was this place was sleepy but not so. Once in the low key techs were super. This Jiffy Lube had efficient knowledgeable service in this convenient Route 58, Riverhead location. Between both forks on the east end it can save you a Trip and wait time at your dealer. Leon and James were managing the cars as they came in and gave good advice on which oil was best considering age of the car and type etc. My best friend enjoyed the instantly imagined smoother feel of an oil change. They had some online promos and became busy within a few minutes in today. Waiting room or fast food next door is where you should wait. Terrible place. Ruined my oil pan. Had to replace my oil pan because they ruined the treads.

The customer sevice rep/manager couldn't have been nicer. However, after my oil change, she asked me if I wanted them to top off my coolant for $5. I agreed and instead was charged $9.33 for that service. Not a lot but not the point either. Again, before leaving, I asked the "mechanic" to be certain he reset the the oil warning clock to reflect that the oil was changed. Alas, that was not done. STAY AWAY from Jiffy Lube !! I took my vehicle to this location for an oil change and the techs assured me they knew how to service my car . After an hour and half I paid for my service and drove my vehicle with my 6 year old in the car . After 20 minutes of driving my car it started to hesitate and would not accelerate which was frightening trying to get on a highway ! Fortunately I made it to my drive way . The next morning I started my car and it was smoking , I had it towed to a local dealer who discovered the transmission fluid was drained and never replaced , resulting in my transmission being completely destroyed! The amount of repairs, rental cars, ubers, loss of business and the huge inconvenience this has caused for my family is inexcusable ! Besides getting the oil change for a long trip the other issue I wanted addressed was tire pressure which I told the "courtesy ambassador" who assured me they will check. When I got my bill the CHECK TIRE PRESSURE READ DECLINED LIKE I SAID DON'T bother- NOT!!! Also the 4Runner I have has a skid plate, after previous experiences I always get down on my hands and knees to make sure the skid plate is properly reattached-you can't missed this if you are the guy under the car changing the oil. I took my car for an oil change on Saturday May 15th, 2022. It took forever because they said that the whoever put on the filter last oil change put it on really tight and they couldn't get it off. My LST oil change was done at that same store. They finally get it off and change oil. I leave and go home. I go out to my driveway on Sunday and there is oil in my driveway. I called the shop and the manager sent out two guys to look to see what was going on. They said the plug wasn't tight enough. They were also sent out to clean up my driveway as I had just got it resealed a week prior. They come out with disposable towels. Put on ground and step on it. That was the extent of cleaning up my driveway. They replaced the oil that was lost and left. I requested a refund for my oil change but was told they can't do that from the store level that they could give me a 50% discount on my next oil change if I come back. I sent an email complaint to corporate and have not heard back from district manager. I called store to tell them it's still leaking oil manager said bring it back he will look at it. He said it was the oil under the car that they didn't spray and clean up. He had them clean under the car. I get it home and it's still leaking oil so that clearly wasn't the problem. I asked for his supervisor number and he said he didn't have a number for him. I have waited over a week to hear back from corporate and still nothing. Tomorrow it's going to my mechanic. read more

The gentlemen working there could not have been nicer, more helpful, or more knowledgeable. They diagnosed an issue bigger than they could handle so fixed it enough that I could get home safely. Been going to jiffy lube for years WILL NOT GO TO THIS ONE AGAIN They insist you wait in the waiting room While waiting for your car to be worked on and that they have to walk you in. Then the guy can't find the hood release when it is clearly mark HOOD. AND Then Im told they don't have 10w-30w But 5w is ok. IT IS NOT OK . 10W 30W Which is the required weight oil for my car but if I pay extra for high milage oil $69 they can change the oil. They have a bad aditude and not having the right oil & pushing the more expensive stuff make for an Unhappy customers So I left what a waste of my time. Feels like a rip off to me. I have been going to this jiffy lube for years. The guys working there are great. They are upbeat, very capable and get the job done. My complaint is the price of an oil change going up constantly. Today I was charged a total of $120.00 for a synthetic oil change. Last time 5 months ago it was $110.00. A year ago it was $90.00. I love going there as it is very convenient and once again great service but I am discouraged by the increase in price every time I go back for the same service. While they replaced my battery, all the same error codes popped up right as I was pulling out of their parking lot. I'm not saying they didn't - it's just odd that, other than the clock, nothing else had to be reset or adjusted. Either way, they did the best they could with the staff they have - the district manager even reached out to make sure I was taken care of. As a former manager myself, I would recommend a thorough TRAINING for all employees at this location (behavioral and otherwise). It's ideally situated in an area that gets tons of traffic - they could utilize it by, a) putting up a bigger sign, b) cleaning the waiting area up a bit and, c) employing people that give a shit. After this debacle and the oil change prior, I unfortunately don't think I will be headed back here anytime soon. read more

DO NOT go to this location unless you want your engine to BLOW UP !!! I took my vehicle here for a simple oil change to later find out they failed to properly install the oil filter . The Lack of professionalism and incompetence at this location is extremely concerning. Thank goodness the oil indicator light came on after rapidly loosing oil I went to another local mechanic in the area who informed me that the oil filter installed by Jiffy Lube in Riverhead was crooked which led to improper oil pressure and leaks and eventually could have caused engine overheating and a blown engine. So I ended up paying 2x's ( once to the Jiffy Lube idiots, and again to troubleshoot and fix their Fk up). If you come to this location, pray that your oil indicator light works or you'll be on the side of the road with a smoking engine. Save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAYYYY. I was shown a very very dirty cabin air filter with a mouse nest in it. They wanted to replace it but I said no so I could save money and do it myself. Went to an auto parts store and the proper filter they gave me for my car looked NOTHING like the dirty air filter they showed me at jiffy lube. Terrible service, I have gone there more then once and every time they leave a piece of my car. This time they didn't put my skid plate back on correctly. I was driving around for half day with it hanging off. I was far away when i needed to make a quick pit top, buy extra bolts and re attach the plate to the rest of the car. Ridicules... the other times they would take out the air filter and just not put them in correctly leaving parts on the seats or in the engine compartment... Went in for the $29.95 advertised oil change that wound up being a $60 oil change...so ok, bait and switch that's on me. Bluetooth headphones disappeared from console, ok, that's on me for leaving a valuable in my car. But a cover from an air filter found behind the glove box was snapped off and the broken part hidden under a bag in my car. The filter was snapped as well - clearly, someone didn't know what they were doing. Went back the next day, left my name and number, calm, polite. Over a week, no call from manager. Went back a second time, asked asst manager to take ownership of this problem, please someone answer. Crickets....nothing. Left a detailed message with corporate feedback asked for a call...nothing. I went for an oil change and was surprised at the amazing customer friendly service and professionalism from the entire staff. It was very busy around the lunchtime hour and I expected to wait but was in and out in about 15 minutes!! As I waited I was amazed time and time again at the customer interactions! The slowest oil change I have ever had. Would not mind if they took your info and let you leave your car but they tell you to wait in waiting room for them to come talk to you. After 45 minutes they hadn't even touched my car with only 3 other cars there and 2 employees. I have been to several other Jiffy Lube locations with no issues but this place is a joke.
