I politely told the employee about the situation and how it's not cool and then I declined them cleaning it up as I didn't want them to touch my car again. THEN my girlfriend needed an oil change and they never put the skid plate screws BACK on her car which later resulted in the skid plate coming off on the freeway and bending backwards and leaving her stranded while I was at work. I've heard other bad reviews and ignored them, I regret doing so. Never going back to this place. Respectfully. Value is alright if you're willing to risk a possible half done job.

They have two service bays but they don't always have both running, I think this has to do with how many people they have staffed that day but regardless, it does not seem to affect the speed and accuracy of the services I received. All of the times I have come here, it has been with Groupons but, I leanred that they always have coupons on their website that you can use. I've read some of the negative reviews and I can't see why some of they people have had bad expereinces. I think my only gripe is that sometimes the technicians talk too fast and expect the customer to know everything they are asking right off the bat. This is especially true when they are asking you to turn on your lights to check for bad bulbs. I think they forget that we can hardly hear them while inside the car. Other than that, I think I am going to keep coming here for the basic oil changes and fluid top off's on my vehicles.

Camarillo Valvoline: Service you can't see…read more Experts you should NEVER trust. I have add two separate incidents at this Valvoline that will ensure I will never come back. The first occurred in January of this year when I went in for service and (against my better judgment) opted for a tire rotation. We left the shop thinking everything was fine and got a call from the tech saying that the tires have not been fully torqued and they could potentially fall off. They said they would come and find us, so they proceeded to drive to our location. Luckily we hadn't driven far and we were attending a wedding reception nearby but we had to deal with this in the midst of that. This is a egregious safety violation and could have resulted in our harm. The service technicians were very apologetic and nice however it is still highly unacceptable and dangerous. Valvoline gave us a free oil change, in exchange for our near-death experience. The second occurred today when having gone into this Camarillo location. Several things: -They didn't check my lights yet I saw on their checklist that they marked they were good . -They didn't check my tire pressure at the beginning of the service so I had to ask. -I wasn't shown my air filter. I had to ask them about it at which they said my air filter was "underneath my vehicle". This is blatantly false, and a straight up LIE. I removed the air filter myself after the service and this is the result. -I asked for a printed receipt, they never provided. THIS WILL BE THE VERY LAST TIME I EVER TAKE MY VEHICLE HERE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. HORRIBLE. They couldn't care less and just want to get you out as quickly as possible.

About a year ago I took my vehicle here for a simple oil change. It took way longer than the "in a jiffy" banner said and the name suggests. The next morning I found oil drips on my garage floor. After checking the oil level I took the vehicle back. The explanation was a cross piece that some old oil had dripped on. They resolved the problem and gave me some oil clean up pads. Fast forward to now. Like a fool, I go back with the same vehicle for another simple change. I pulled right up to an empty bay. A fellow comes over and writes me up for an oil change. I explained the problem I had last time. and what the resolve was. I was assured that would not happen this time. Yeah, about that. So here it is over an hour later, they finally pulled my vehicle out and it sits, hood up as I continue to sit, waiting for someone, anyone, to let me pay and get out of there. Finally, I went over to the fellow who wrote me up and asked if I could pay and go. "Yeah, I'll be right with you, so I can show you the oil is clean and filled" Another ten minutes goes by, as I stand there by the vehicle. Finally, here he comes. OK, I see the dip stick with the clean oil, now I go to pay... $135 for a small four cylinder engine oil change? The dealer doesn't charge that much. Fine, just let me the $@$* outta here. And guess what I find in the morning... go on guess... I'll wait. OIL DRIPS on the garage floor. I really do not like to write negative reviews but. Never, never, ever, not ever never again. He diagnosed it pretty quickly and it turned out to be the fuel injector. He took care of the problem - my car now runs beautifully, thanks to Scott. Their team is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The quality of work is outstanding and the price is fair. It's best to make an appointment - because of their reputation, they are extremely busy, but it's worth waiting a day or two to have your car serviced by them.
