I had an air filter and cabin filter I purchased on my own. I was planning to install them after the oil change however they offered to do it for me. They were really nice and very attentive. I have been to a number of Jiffy Lubes and this store was just very friendly and service oriented. I will. Is it them again.

First, let me say I would probably give 4.5 stars…read more.. I've been coming here for at least 4-5 years and routinely get service on my car which now has over 275,000 miles on it. Let me highlight a few things. Mechanics/specialists are generally very friendly and polite. Really haven't had any issue whatsoever. Their service is fast and it seems to be pretty thorough with fluid top ups, tire pressure, light checks, in addition to the oil change. I get the synthetic brand which tends to be a bit more expensive but I think is better for my older vehicle. This place gives you a FREE car wash to the Cornhusker Auto Wash which is about two blocks south of the location and provides an excellent wash!! Like most oil change places, they always pull the cabin and air filter to show you how 'dirty' it is and encourage replacement. I order my filters off Amazon and change them myself. Normally, I let them know when I pull in not to bother checking both and they don't argue or try to convince me otherwise. I like that. Here's the one thing that they have now done the last 3 times in that I do NOT like and cost them .5 star. While I am waiting, an attendant will bring my oil cap in to show me (dirt/debris/sludge) etc. etc. on the inside of the cap and encourage me to purchase a 'detergent cleanse' for the engine. DO NOT DO THIS. The 'gunk' you sometimes see in the cap is normal. If it's black sludge, then you might have an issue. Also, nearly ALL synthetic oils already have a detergent added in. One other thing, on engines with high mileage, cleaning the deposits off the engine can lead to problems from the loosened parts clogging oil passages. It's a money grab. Don't do it. I really wish they would stop this upsell as it makes me trust them less.

She said she goes to grease monkey, but I went to Jiffy Lube because they were closer to my home. I really really really wish I would've went to grease monkey. Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence. "yes sir , you can bring it today…read more, we actually have a spot available just for you today , we just didnt want it to get taken by tomorrow so we made sure we had it ready for you , can you come in any time today until 6 pm" Then on Friday I get told this "hey , ,i just wanted to inform you that due to today being a really busy day for us , the timing chain still needs to be worked on , can i call you tomorrow to let you know the updates and if we can finish the job since we were backed up for just one day , i was goin to ask if we can have it till monday so we can ensure this job gets done correctly with no rush ? Asked about schedule issues and if they can confidently do this job. Then was replied with: "no no scheduled issues sir , the car is in line with the space of it still being occupied by the car itself it was just one of those days unfortunetly and we couldnt start on it today , the work time is still the same im just backed up by 1 day sir , i apologize for this inconvinience and since we dont open sundays , the best bet will be to finish it by monday" Told specifically not to start it or drive it due to timing being off and creating additional damage. But that was disregarded and started any way. Highly unprofessional place and strongly don't recommend bringing your car here if you love or care for your car. I have been lied to and disrespected. When it was my turn, I was directed in to the exact spot. They told me what kind of oil my car used and what the price was. In 15 minutes I was on my way. The price was about $10 more than my regular garage, but the convenience factor was huge. I will generally want to go to my mechanic for regular maintenance because they keep me informed about other potential future repairs looming, but for an oil change, this worked out well.
