Then, after the drive there and after several discussions. They tried to rip me off!! First an employee said my battery was working at 25%. I told him I bought a battery from them 6 months ago. He retested my battery was at 75%. After leaving I looked closer at the battery and notice one battery bolt was broken and the braket was just sitting on top of the battery. Every time I go in most of the employees are new. Spent $140 on oil, change, new filter (at their suggestion) and coolant top off. Again no big deal. Minor irritation about wait and cost but I can live with it. Thus should have been easy in and out. Noticed that my car had been moved and another placed in front of it. When asking what I believe was the store manager why he said I'm sorry you got skipped. Skipped? You backed my car out then pulled hers in to bay one. This is not a good way to earn continued business. I try to stay with local businesses but this is a big reason why I would search else where. I don't appreciate having my time wasted. Then they tell me they are having a hard time with the Element Fleet number. I had just got off the phone with Element and I had never had these issues before. Time is money and I ended up wasting a ton because of them today. Then I'm told that my Element card was canceled so on speaker I called the fleet company only to find that they never even called in on the ticket. I would have read the reviews and I may not have even came here the first time. Broadbase the company that owns the Jiffy Lubes in Sacramento don't even answer their phones. They pulled my car really quickly into the bay showing a disrespect for someone else's property. One of the employees made by truck bounce while I was sitting in it. They got in to see the condition of the cabin filter, even though they only needed to change the oil. They wanted a lot of money for the replacement, to which I decided that I would do this procedure much cheaper and of higher quality. What I saw: the old filter they touched was not fully inserted, the flap was not closed and one of the two clips was going somewhere, and the other one had the plastic slicked off. I only come here in an emergency and every time something gets messed up. The time before, I got the cabin filter changed and then was on a road trip, my blower motor went out. I grab another blower motor on the road and go to change it and the cabin filter they put in was crunched and broken, a piece of it had come off and lodged itself into the blower motor because they just jammed it in, probably wasn't even the right size. It had oily fingerprints all over it too. Then the next time they didn't tighten the oil filter enough so it was leaking. The final time, they put a weird oil filter on and there is no wrench that fits it so I'm having to order wrenches from amazon at random to see what fits. God forbid they use something that actually fits the tools that fit stock parts. It's hard to imagine a worse oil change place, very unprofessional when you are there but I'm sure it's because they pay terribly and you get what you pay for. So I blame the owners more than anyone. Pay your employees or you will just have trash. read more

I took my 2014 Ford focus in, had an oil change, no issues, no problems, but how does a car with 42,000 miles next oil change isn't until 118,000 miles? I've called the location multiple times (using the phone number on this website)and it's a fax so there's no way to ask them about the mistake or when my actual next oil change should be. not very good customer service in the follow up in my opinion. I just want to update the sticker in my window with the correct mileage so that I can get my next timely oil change done. Also the coupons made available through Yelp cannot be used at this location. Came in to get my oil changed. When i come to pick up my car, I drive about 2 minutes away from jiffy lube plaza when my car breaks down. Battery shuts off in the middle of road. I call jiffy lube back immediately to tell them something is wrong with my battery in my car and I need some help. Since when I brought the car in everything was fine and even their diagnostics said the same. The man said "okay, we are busy closing but I'll let someone know." At this time. I'm at the apartments right in front of Larchmont St. It's Friday July 7th and it is about 107 outside. I waited about an hour for some type of help from Jiffy Lube to arrive. Finally, I called my girlfriend and asked her to come give me a jump. Since they care so little about their customers. When she arrives, my car doesn't crank up with the jump. It starts up but then the engine dies again. So this is not the battery. It's the air flow needle that allows gas to get to the engine. I know this because pepboys did the same thing (the reason I refuse to work with them now). Not only did they break my car while doing an oil change, they also didn't have the respect to atleast check on a customer after their car breaks down 2 mins from driving from their service in 107 degree heat.
