I would usually go to Sam's Club or Costco for an oil change... but I haven't had time lately (lately being the past few months / last 5,000 miles over the recommended miles for an oil change) !! I was in the neighborhood with about an hour to spare, so I decided to see what oil change stations there were nearby. I was very pleasantly surprised with the service at jiffy lube. The oil change came with a car vacuuming, window cleaning, tire air pressure check, and an air filter check. This is typically where I'm sure they try to up-sell most people, but they didn't recommend anything additional for my car! The oil change took less that 25 minutes, and I've had no troubles. I was a customer, I went there 3 years ago to have my battery tested and changed, obviously I didnt have any problem till now which makes sense it was a new battery and it has been 3 years so ok the battery started to play up and needed to be replaced, when I took the car to the dealer they told me Jiffy Lube had installed a tiny battery for my car, I honestly know nothing about mechanics so I was shocked to find out they put a battery that was not the right one for my car. The absolute worst place to get an oil change. My paperwork was incorrect and when I asked about it the manager said it was a mistake and that if I paid him a little extra or chose another service that he would correct it. They said my truck had a check engine light, which it never did and an oil leak, so I asked them to go ahead and fix it, then he explained that it didn't really have one, but I could possible have one in the future, and that he "thought" he say a check engine light, but was mistaken, but refused to correct the invoice. Even the corporate office said they are the worst and have the most open complaints and should be closed... 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for the owner to correct this action. I have followed up with corporate twice. beware of this place, go somewhere else. oh and before I forget, they didn't dispose of the oil filter on my truck, they removed it, and put it on the inside of the inner bumper, then failed to tighten it... so 20 minutes later oil had dripped on my drive way. read more

Sat here for 2 hours while 3 techs and a floor manager continue talking and cracking jokes with zero urgency to get to my vehicle, the car before me Was just doing a tire rotation and a oil change How many techs do you need for that doesn't makes sense. Have been a customer of Jiffy lube for quite some time. first time going to this location. Did not put air tire, sensor left on, don't feel comfortable that transmission fluid and all the things that they say were actually done. Only saw one of the men putting the water. Not the best experience - one of the gentlemen from outside seemed upset that I was using a coupon. And reminded me how much I paid last time, the one on Bird Road and 67th Ave is a better service station. read more

I have been to the jiffy lube on coral way and 77th twice, both times there was no line and I was helped by the friendliest guy. I'm forgetting his now now, I believe it's something like Geo- Latin, tall, wears glasses. He was knowledgeable, worked quickly, and super sweet to my little dog. One star is too generous of a rating. I took my car there for a simple oil change. The next day my check engine light is on and the engine is making a loud clicking noise. Took it back and they said all was fine. Had to take it to the dealership mechanic only to find out this Jiffy Lube didn't put oil in the engine. I could not believe it. They are supposed to specialize in something easy like changing the oil. That means replace the oil not simply drain it. read more

I never leave a bad review. Never! But I have to this time. I came in to have my oil changed because the other jiffy lube I usually go to was just too busy. Usually they charge me $75 for a full synthetic oil change and they always honor my coupons. This time they started and I didn't ask the price because I assumed the jiffy lube 3 miles away had the same price. They called me after draining it and said "your oil change will come out to 120$" I said stop right there I'll be right back, they said "well it's drained" I said "well stop right there and I'll be there in 30 seconds" I was grabbing a coffee next door. When I arrived the attendant "Romeo" said "oh well it's already been filled. I said, I just saw you charge that guy 45$ and he said "well you have a Range Rover it's not just a little ford" I said "did you just actually tell me that you charged me more bc I have a specific car?!!! I lost my mind right then and my husband literally had to come in and talk to the guy who brought it down to 90something. Mind you I have a low end Land Rover discovery that is 5 years old. Regardless, I knew then he was definitely robbing me. I will never again step foot into that place and I understand why this jiffy lube was empty. read more

I Had an oil change here today and the representative that charged me was friendly however i got ripped off plain and clear. Had to pay double what i pay at the dealer for a simple oil change with some bs explanation that my car takes more oil and that there was no wait time. Does that mean that if there would of been a wait time it would of been less? Dosent make any sense but If you do decide to go here take a male with you because as a woman with a small child they saw an opportunity and took full advantage to rip me off. Went to get an oil change service done, and had purchased on groupon a deal that had the synthetic blend oil change advertised from $79.99 to $44.99 if purchasing on groupon. Proceeded to buy it, and arrived at service center #3688 in Miami. Mentioned I had the groupon, and was told that there could be additional costs. As I was getting my car serviced, I provided the Groupon #, and the person who helped me redeemed on my phone the coupon. When I was told about additional costs, I thought it could be taxes or extra oil if necessary as stated in the notes for the coupon. After I had paid $44.99 on groupon though, I was told I would have to pay an additional $52.11, as the employee told me that he would be charging the regular cost of service, and would give the groupon discount of $35(as shown on my invoice:Gross Sales $83.96 + county tax of $0.45 + state tax of $2.70 - $35.00 Groupon discount). When I told the employee that I had paid $44.99 on Groupon already, he told me that this was the way Jiffy Lube has them do it in the system, that I shouldnt have bought the groupon because it causes too many issues, and that I should just use the jiffy lube coupon on their site, which was much less. In total, between the groupon purchase + what I was charged at the store, I ended up paying $97.10 for my oil change, which ended up being more than if I had just paid for the regular service without any type of discount. After discussing with Groupon the issue, they said that because the employee redeemed my coupon, there was nothing they could do to help because the coupon was used, which it obviously wasnt, otherwise, I wouldnt have paid the additional absorbitant costs at the store. I was severely disappointed with the way this was handled, as I have brought multiple vehicles throughout the years to this location. If Jiffy Lube won't honor the groupon the correct way, it should not be provided. As a long time customer, it is a shame that during a pandemic this kind of treatment can be given to any customer. read more

We were in and out within 30 minutes, didn't have any unnecessary services forced on us, and the service tech, Anthony explained warranties and routine top-offs that we could bring my car in for free within 3000 miles. I went to Jiffy Lube the first time at this location for what I thought would be a quick standard oil change. I saw a cool Groupon Ad for $20, and said hey why not. As I rolled up to the entrance, a heavily inked gentleman approached me. Right off the bat, this employee took an almost aggressive tone with me, telling me that he saw me fill out the Groupon and that it won't process till the next day, and that it's no good. He seemed to dislike Groupon, and told me there's no reason to use a third party, and that 'Just this once' he will give me the same 'deal' that Groupon would. When I walked in, he still talked down on Groupon in an overly confident manner, and took my keys and car. Once the car was pulled onto the platform, he told me the cost comes down to $35. I asked him what happened to him honoring the same deal? He told me that after taxes, and all that I'm getting the same deal. I knew it to be untrue since I had the same deal at Valvoline before, and they did the same job for twenty bucks. I could tell by the speed at which he was talking to me that I was being lied to. First off, if he would have been honest in the first place, I would have left and waited. I let him complete the transaction because I was overdue for an oil change and had work the next day. While fifteen bucks is not a great deal of money, this still left a bad taste in my mouth, and made me feel the need to write a review. If you want repeated business, be honest and don't treat a customer like that. I don't want to deal with this guy again, nor visit Jiffy Lube anymore. read more

I went for an oil change, the manager Javier was extremely friendly he advised me to change my tires and made me feel like I was in good hands, I hade previously gone to another jiffy lube and they ripped me off by not even changing the oil and charging me for it. I came here about 3 weeks ago for my oil change and to change my breaks. While the mechanic was checking my breaks he found I had a broken axl, he notify me, explain me that they could do that job here. So I came back about 5 days ago and talk with one of their managers Anthony, they were pretty busy, but he still manage to make some time for me and check my car, gave me a quote explain what the mechanic is gonna do, how long the parts will take (I came on a Sunday). So I decided to pay early he help me with the price of my fix, call me 3 days after to notify me part was ready and we set up an appointment. I'm very happy with the honesty they have here, and how they try to help the customer. I highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

They'll try to upsale you a lot and overcharge you for a simple oil change. However, the service is fairly quick and they'll more often than not tell you what's wrong with the car. If you have a friend or know a cheaper place, I'd do that. If you're in a rush to get your car worked on, this would be a good place despite the price and constant "new issues" found. read more

I couldnt say enough horrible things about this place. I went there for a quick and easy vehicle inspection for uber and after inspection, i left with the door ajar light on (which was not on when before i got there.) After immediately returning to ask the guy whats wrong, he proceeded to tell me that his computer doesnt show anything. So i left. Now two days later, my car wont start, and after having it jumped by AAA, it still wont hold a charge. What a scam!!! I knew there was something wrong when he told me that because im now a driver for uber, i will get 20% off for all maintenance and service. And he repeated this three times. Seems a little fishy. I have gone there before to take out wheel locks out of my car for no fee and gave a tip. When I went again when someone tried stealing my wheels and broke the wheel lock, I spoke with a man and he told me that they don't do that, when I told him what I wanted in detail he said "I'm the manager we don't do that." I went to Jiffy Lube, located at 8215 West Flager Miami Fl 33126 three weeks ago for the oil change service of my CRV, two days later I noticed that the required maintenance light was still on and imagined that the technician forgot to update the computer with this service or did not do it correctly and I returned to review this issue. They made me wait for more than 45 minutes and nobody atttended me because they were busy with other services that they could charge, since mine was already paid. In my opinion the customer service of this place is horrible and my advise is avoid this team. I will not come back to this place anymore. read more

I mean they were really nice but I do feel kinda ripped off. I don't want to go into detail of what happened cause then they will know who I am. But they tried to sell me a whole bunch of things for my car under the justification that they really don't make commission and that they're just doin it because they're being honest. They even show you a screen with the name of your car dealership and a whole bunch of things that they supposedly say your car "needs" I've had my car for over a year and never had a problem. Then when they charge you they say they're giving you a discount. I paid $120 for my oil change. I did blended synthetic and my car only needed one additional 10$ quart. I do feel a little taken advantage of cause I know nothing about cars. When my husband found out how much it was he was upset about it. Idk what to think. They treated me very nicely. Even got a red carpet and all but idk I feel like they made a killing on me. read more
