I went here about a year ago on a Sunday for an Air Conditioner recharge because few other places were open at the time and it was getting really hot. I paid quite a premium - around $150 and the recharge seemed to work fine for the rest of the summer.. until next year when the heat started rolling around, I was in for a rude awakening that my AC was blowing hot air again. I then took my car in to my regular mechanic, a Firestone closer to my house, and had them take a look at it multiple times and they couldn't find any problems and could only come to the conclusion that this Jiffy Lube that I recharged my AC at a year ago didn't put in enough fluid. Not only did this Firestone charge less money for the A/C recharge but included in the price was a thorough A/C inspection, not to mention that my A/C was blowing extremely cold air afterwards, much cooler than what I got after recharging at Jiffy. read more

Very pleased with service wasnt crowded. Got my regular oil changed plus oil filter. No issues with car. Other than oil filter changed. Made sure my fluids were in order and up to proper levels. I guess their under new management and the manager is rude and does not how to run this location. He's rude to guest and his employees. My experience as a return customer was one of disappointment. I have been a customer of this Jiffy Lube for over 10 years. Here's what I observed and experienced... Greeted by Shannon quickly. Shannon disappeared. Tall attendant (didn't get his name) asked if I had been greeted. He asked me to move to Bay 2. Then asked me to move to Bay 3. Shannon returned and asked Tall Guy why I was moved. Tall guy said, "Since I'm the only one actually working I can to him quicker." Shannon was wearing slider type flip flops and was slowly moving between cars in Bays 1 and 2 while talking to Donald, a third attendant. Donald, in bay, and Tall Guy, in pit, completed my service. Donald said, "Cash out" without communicating I could check out in the bay area. I went into the office and listen to Donald talk to who I believe was a manager about "reviews". Donald never acknowledged I was there and never made eye contact. The manager told me checkout had been moved to the bay area. When I walked back in to the bay area Donald said, " I can cash you out here." That was minutes after he said "cash out" before going into the office. When we finished the transaction I turned to walk to my truck and it was then Donald handed me the mileage sticker. Attendants used to put it in the vehicle. No vacuuming. No window cleaning. No state inspections. These used to be part of the service and services offered. Overall I felt like there was a lot of tension in the work environment, a passive impersonal delivery of customer service which are reasons enough for me to not return ending a long customer relationship. Went to Jiffy Lube today for an oil change and car inspection. This Jiffy Lube is right in the middle of a bunch of other auto places and I picked it based off of the yelp reviews. These reviews don't lie--a lot of places will try to upsell you on random things you don't need--this Jiffy Lube is HONEST and doesn't try to pull the wool over your eyes. I ended up coming during the rush, and saw them help a large number of customers and they treated everyone the same. They are upfront if they are slammed and give good estimates of how long it might take for the service you need. Other places try to promise you quick times with a billion customers inside--they were very accurate with time expectations, and worked super hard to get everyone through as quickly as possible. I came to this Jiffy Lube today in a panic because my oil cap was gone. I'd gotten my oil changed a few days ago at Big D oil in Rockwall and they'd apparently forgotten to put it back when they were done. I didn't drive this weekend so I didn't notice until my drive to work this morning. Tom at Jiffy Lube not only ordered the cap and had it delivered in less than 15 minutes, he cleaned the engine and windshield while I waited. Keep in mind..... it wasn't their fault. I'd never even been to a Jiffy Lube before so it wasn't like I was a returning customer. When the cap arrived he checked and saw that I was 2 quarts low from all the oil that had sputtered out on my commute and without me even asking he topped it off. When I went inside I was expecting to pay for a complete oil change (and would have been happy to do it since they got me in and out in under 20 minutes despite having to have the cap delivered). But, when he rang it up the total was 7 dollars. I asked why and he told me he only charged me for the cap. I've NEVER gotten this kind of treatment from an oil change place. I pulled in at 9:30 in the morning and made it to my 10:00 appointment across town. The staff was courteous and shockingly helpful. I was blown away at the fact that this guy actually had a rag out and was cleaning the engine and windshield for me. I live in Rockwall but work in Mesquite and will be doing all of my oil changes from now on at this Jiffy Lube. I appreciate Tom and the staff going way out of their way to help a customer they'd just met. He could have easily charged me a lot more and I wouldn't have argued with it. This place doesn't deserve one star. Their job is so basic and repetitive yet they are unable to do it. One of the techs by the name of Ryan didn't tighten my oil filter and I ended up losing all of it on the way back to North Dakota. I had my truck towed to a shop the next morning, which they told me would be reimbursed but has not been. It's been 5 months now and I haven't received anything and the manager is an ass. Be wise and do NOT get your car inspected at this Jiffy Lube. Their inspection equipment and computer system is not right. Half of the time it's down. But, on the morning I came in their computer was having problems but it was ok to take my vehicle- a 2 year old, low mileage SUV that worked perfectly. Well, it got screwed up somehow on their lift and (duh) they didn't know what happened and failed the vehicle. So then I had to take it to a mechanic which found absolutely nothing wrong. It passed with flying colors. Since then, I have spoken to three other people who have had their cars fail there but pass at other places. I'm sure many people have their cars inspected there with no problems but I wouldn't trust it. Go somewhere else more trustworthy. read more

I called before just to confirm what time they closed and told them the style of my car and they agreed, but when I arrived one of the guys said we don't have your filter as the other guys comes walking closer to our truck, still inside and lights a cigarette. My grandmother had to ask if it was safe that they were able to smoke near all of the oil. Horrible. read more

They were so polite! This won't be a long review because I was only there getting my inspection done. It was raining, and the manager, Tom I believe, came to my car.. Opened the door for me, and escorted me inside -opening that door as well. I know it wasn't just for me because another older woman came right after and he did the same thing. He was so nice to her, she needed a lot done and he helped her on the cost a little. It took a little longer than needed to do my inspection but their keyboard accidentally got a little rain water on it, so they needed to change it out. I was on my way shortly after. Our car was making a funny noise after an oil change so we came in. Two VERY nice girls (Desi and I believe Liz or Lisa was the other girl's name, something with an L) were extremely polite and friendly, greeted us right off the bat with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. They listened to the problem with the car, were very attentive to us, and got to our car right away. They kept us updated on the situation and progress throughout the repair, which turned out to be a missing oil plug--- all of our oil had drained out just a few days after the oil change. The girls and a very kind man named Ray fixed everything, showed us what they'd repaired for our peace of mind, and then sent us on our way. VERY nice people and great customer service. I went up there and they striped my dang oil pan now my dang truck wont even hold oil. Then when i brought it back up there they said it wasnt there fault. And i found it very weired that after i payed for the oil change the guy told me if it gets low on oil come back up here and will but more oil in for free. They do a good job on inspections. However, I pulled up and asked how much is an oil change for my truck (F-150). Xavier replied $42.99. I asked then if they would honor the $15 coupon that had been mailed to me. He said yes. I walked across the street and came back about 30-40 minutes later and truck was completed. Xavier said it would be 42.61. I asked about the $15 coupon and he said well that my vehicle had a premium charge. It was the same vehicle I had asked about when I pulled up to the bay. They up charged me to get basically the same amount as though I did not have a coupon that Jiffy Lube had sent to me. Will probably continue to use them for inspections but nothing else. read more

I was *INCREDIBLY* shocked when the bill for a simple oil change came to nearly $100.00!!! Later I looked at the receipt and noticed that the license plate listed on it was a garble of characters, so there's no real link for this paperwork back to my vehicle. Then in the "Service Comments" section, there's a line "QUALITY INSPECTION BY A. WALKER". That just further validates what a joke this whole thing is. I took my car to jiffy lube for the first time because I believe that you would not have to wait 2 hours for a oil change. ok cool I went there with the AC on like normally I would go anywhere with on they did my oil change within 30 mins or less I get in my car turn the AC n its blowing super hot I ask them why the manager reply do you have your heater on im like really dude its 120 outside and 150 in this car and they told me they didn't touch the AC ok so I took it to the dealership because I knew exactly what they did come to find out the guy that change the oil pinch the wire causing the wire to break what cause the AC not to blow cold a repair total of 720 dollars that is just the estimate so do your self a favor if you been going to them for oil change cool if its your first time don't do it they don't know how to change oil they damage your car and cost you money and no car to drive so you paying uber and taxi to get back fort to work while its being work on this issue will be settle in court that I can assure you. read more
