While they were much faster than my typical automotive choice they charged an exorbitant price for their oil. I felt rushed and incredibly uncomfortable by how manipulative the whole experience felt. Service was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and super quick even though it was 100 degrees. The problem was the waiting room!!!! It was literally 90 degrees inside, as noted by the thermostat!The OTHER problem was that it had recently been painted so the paint fumes were overwhelming made worse by the heat. Actually made me physically ill. They said it had been broken for a while. They had a fan and tried their best to make me & the other customers comfortable but it didn't help. Came in for an oil change. The entire time there was more talking than actual work being done. Individual named Jay that works here did nothing but talk to his other co- workers the entire time. Including cursing, talking on his cell and smoking his vape! It was so unprofessional it made me feel uncomfortable as well as took an HOUR just for an oil change and that wasn't me waiting in line. From check in to finish. The communication between all of them was totally off, they almost put the wrong oil in my car from not paying attention and I was also just left unattended in the middle of my oil change for 20 mins. Pulled into the shop, no wait. Quoted $89 for a full synthetic change for my Silverado 1500. The oil change was quick, but the guy was sloppy and got oil all over my engine bay. When they were finished the price went from $89 to a total of $140 due to my motor requiring 8 quarts. I'm not sure how they don't know how many quarts are for a standard 5.3L Silverado when I pulled up. No additional services were completed or offered. Will not be back. read more

NOTE: This review is for the Lee's Summit location only! I have been a long-time customer of Jiffy Lube and love their services, customer service, and performance. I stopped by the Lee's Summit location to have my fluids topped off and they did not have my most recent oil change in their records (from 2 months ago) and they wanted to charge me $8.99 for a quart of oil since it was low. PLEASE BE AWARE that Jiffy Lube's policy is to NEVER charge its customers for the top offs. I have reported them to their district office and district manager. My favorite spot is the 103rd & State Line Rd location where they are wonderful! :-) read more

I can't in good faith recommend this location. When I visited for service I had something go missing out of my vehicle. All the Manager could tell me is there is no way that could happen when clearly it did and that is just unacceptable. He was more interested in defending his people I think than he was solving the issue, and while that's certainly admirable I just happen to know the item disappeared. read more

Best oil change service I've had in awhile. Kyle is a 5 Star employee. He needs a raise. Extremely friendly. Gave estimated time and gave me updates. Very customer service oriented. I always use this Jiffy Lube but lately the service has not been good. Today they were out of oil filters at 1:30 in the afternoon. Last time they went to the parts store and picked one up but this time they just sent me away. I will be looking elsewhere in the future. If I could give this place no stars, I would. I've never had a worse experience. The workers are completely incompetent. Took my car in for an oil change, NOT A BRAKE CHECK. Yet, somehow, they managed to destroy my brakes. They dumped wiper fluid into the antifreeze tube, which Kyle M. informed me of when it happened. When I called back to get an explanation, they denied what Kyle M. (the manager) had told me originally, told me they don't work on brakes in general (despite what their website advertises), and then BLATANTLY LIED saying my brakes were grinding and making noise when I drove in (they were not and it was checked again later that night). They will not take responsibility for any mistake made. Not only are they unreliable, they will not correct their mistakes. read more

I would not recommend this Jiffy Lune or any other. They all seem to do the same. Took an 1 1/2 to only change the oil in my truck and the weren't even busy when I got there. Then they pencil whipped the check off sheet saying they vacuumed the floor and of course they didn't. Makes me wonder if they really checked the air pressure and any of the other fluids. DO NOT USE!!!!!! I have added a picture of what they call vacuumed as well. read more

Avoid ! This facility has put my air filter on backwards causing engine fault dealer fixed. Also oil dripping all over driveway. Called corporate reported with no return call. Corporate gave me managers numbers and he was rude. Stay away. Management and facility have run this into the ground. You have been warned. Avoid! read more

Went to get a headlight fixed. Was told they didn't have time fix my headlight. I'm assuming this was because I drive a Volkswagon, which are difficult to take apart, but being a car service place, this shouldn't be an issue. There were only a couple cars ahead of me. Would have gladly waited. Instead, the guy rudely told me "there's no way we have time to take this apart." And then told me to try a full service place, "but doubt you'll find anything open today." It's Labor Day, but if you're going to be open during a holiday, maybe take any customer that comes through the door. read more

Worse service ever. Told them how I wanted my tires rotated...as the manual and place I bought them from says to. They proceed to tell me I'm wrong. Then they talk amongst themselves in the shop area about how wrong and rude I was. They finished my car and left it outside with door open and running. They then proceeded to cash out 2 other customers who's cars were still being worked on before me. So in all I had to wait 10 extra minutes. They said because those people came before me even though my car was done before them that it didn't matter. I asked for the managers name and number and was given a business card. Called the number, it's the shop number...keep being told manager is in a meeting. Worse service ever. I drive for a living, went to jiffy lube twice a month. Will now look for a new place to go. I drive 70000 miles a year in my car. read more

I went in for a vehicle inspection. I arrived at 9:00 and was told it was first come first serve, which I was ok with. However after an hour and a half they had taken care of the two people in front of me and 5 others who came in after me all with oil changes. I listened to all the dealings, and out of the 7 people checked out, 5 were told they had a tag light out which they could replace for 12.50. Two(including me) had bad wiper blades. Not going to pay for them to do it, I went to advance auto parts and got them on sale with free installation. ( would cost 14.50 installation alone each at least at Jiffy Lube). Went back to have them rein spect the wipers, and waited another 20 minutes...during that time three other people were checked out, two needing...you guessed it! Tag lights!!! The good: Courteous employees. They did a fine job changing the oil on my car--a dirty, greasy task that I don't like to do. Oil filter and drain plug both securely reattached. The bad: Please stop trying to upsell everything. Why did I get a window sticker that says change my oil in 3,000 miles when my owner's manual says 7500? It would have been nice if you had gotten the bugs off my windshield before applying the Rain-X. The meh: First time customer. I took two vehicles in on separate days. First visit, a weekend afternoon, the courteous young man who escorted me to the waiting room pointed out the water cooler to me...unfortunately there was no water. The thermal coffee carafe was also empty. Second visit: same deal. It's no big deal, but if you're going to offer amenities such as water, please keep it stocked! Also, And why does the aforementioned sticker say AutoZone? Yes really! Were you out of Jiffy Lube Stickers? I'd post a photo of it here if I could... All in all, a decent experience. I know Jiffy Lube has a loyal customer base, and their brand is well-respected, generally speaking. Staff was not friendly at a all did not care I was waiting so long. Then when it was done the heat shield was still done and Hit on the bay floor when they pulled out. Still no one cared. I received a 24.99 oil change coupon via coupon pack in the mail. When I arrived at Jiffy lube, I presented the coupon to employee checking me in and stated the coupon would work for my vehicle. later when my car was in the stall/garage, I was approached by another employee about the services and prices. She communicated that the weight of my oil was not in stock for conventional and that I needed to upgrade to synthetic for 64.99. I referred back to the coupon I presented earlier and stated I could not now use. My dealership oil changes are 29.99 and they finally matched, since they had already drained oil. I was appreciated that they did that. Downgrades: Extremely high prices for air filters and cabin filters. I was quoted 49.99 for the cabin. Purchased at NAPA for 14.99( and about 3 minutes of personal labor). Also, had to correct glove compartment box due to not latched correctly by technician. The vacuum job I would rate as poor. If your not going to do correctly, don't offer the service. read more

Avoid this place. Upsold on oil and services, which you usually expect from these places, but the bad part was that they massively overfilled my tires. Rated for 35 psi and they filled to 45. I only noticed because I had a slow leak in one of my tires and had the tire pressure indicator up in my car. Had I not noticed, they could have caused some serious damage, at worst exploding and causing a major car accident, and at the least, lower traction on the road, also risky and potentially causing an accident. Reported to corporate and got a token half-apology email from the manager, who wanted to "discuss further" - my email back to him got no response. Not even an offer of a refund or a discount. read more

I tried Jiffy Lube last Saturday for the first time at this location, I will never use a Jiffy Lube again. They are WAY overpriced...I definitely paid the price for not scheduling an appointment with my dealer. The woman who ran the front counter stated that my vehicle REQUIRED a full synthetic oil (of course the two options for that are the highest priced). When I went out to my car to retrieve the paperwork on what had been done before, I clarified with another employee when I returned inside that a blend could be used. She tried to state that what was listed on my dealers sheet ONLY came in full synthetic. Thank goodness for the other gentleman working who corrected her that it also came in a blend. I didn't feel helped, I didn't feel like a valued customer, and I definitely won't be going back. The only reason I didn't walk out to begin with was the $79/$99 synthetic oil change had been done before I was able to verify what had been previously used, I got to choose the lesser $59 synthetic blend which somehow still cost me $73. And a whole lot of attitude. read more

I have never spent this much time on Yelp, let alone a review of any company. The canned response says, send us an email with your info, which I have done twice now - and no response. Made the excuse of not cleaning my windows because it was going to rain even though my windows had bird poop and leaves and such and could have used a good cleaning, rain or not. They couldn't find my bold lock which I put right on the seat and while searching got grease on my dashboard and glove compartment and somehow my two seats. What the heck!! read more

I would not recommend this Jiffy Lube. I took my cadi in to see why the oil pressure light was showing only 30% oil when I recently had a full service oil change a month prior at a different business. I asked them to please check the oil first and if it did not need a refill to let me know as I was on my lunch break! However, if I did need oil and it was low I asked them to go ahead and give me the package with the free top offs. He came back in with in 3 minutes and said he changed oil and then charged me $40 with a coupon. I asked him again to confirm everything on his check list was done, including checking the tire pressure. As I left there I couldn't help but thinking... WOW I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF. As I returned to work I asked my boss why it would show low oil pressure and he explained that it was just a reminder in the cadi's to check it. I was extremely upset so I immediately went to the website and sent an email about how unhappy I was and would like a refund and a response. No response!!!!!! I believe they just checked off the entire list without even checking my other fluids or replacing the air filter. After speaking to my mechanic I found out the oil never even needed replaced since I had a full service premium oil change just a month prior. It was just a notification that oil pressure needed to be checked. ( 2nd opinion I never received a return call or email and I feel I am due a refund. DO NOT USE THIS JIFFY LUBE OR TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR AN OIL CHANGE. (915 ne RICE RD ), unless you want to be paying money out of your pocket for nothing!!!!!! . Never going back. I own a mini called ahead and was told they were comfortable doing an oil change on a mini. The first time I went it was fine if a little long. Second time was there for over two hours! No one came to the waiting area to tell me what was going on but I figured that every one has an off day so my parents took my car there a third time while I was out of town. After sitting there for two hours they asked what was taking so long and were told that staff forgot to put a clamp on. Then they were told that the staff broke a connection for the antifreeze reservoir and that they needed to get the part from the dealership. The next day my parents picked the car up and the day after that they came to the airport to get me. On the way the car stopped producing heat and they saw that there was smoke coming from the car and liquid on the street behind them. They called a tow and had the car taken to Baron BMW Mini. Jiffy told us that they would reimburse us for the tow. It has been over a month and still no check. We were told that it was sent and it may have gone to the wrong address and that they would send another check to the correct address. Two weeks later still no check! Last week we saw that the car was leaking and we took it to Baron BMW Mini was told that the leak was from coolant and that the housing gaskets were damaged. Will never go again! read more
