The guys at this location are so great and accommodating. We had to pull over on our road trip with an engine problem. The guys stood in the parking lot helping us get a temporary fix for our problem so that we could make it back to our home shop. Went today for oil change and service.Service was great but a bit expensive as there not many deals

This has long been my favorite place for safety inspections, but today, they really went out of their way to be helpfu! I had to get my inspection, and the state was not giving extensions, and no one else could take the car for me. I was very apprehensive, as I'm in a high-risk group for COVID-19, and I had not set foot inside any other business except a doctor's office since March. Even though they were not taking appointments, they let me know by phone when to come in order not to be in contact with other customers, and completed the inspection as quickly as possible, to minimize the time I had to wait there. The service is great. I did wait over an hour for oil change. Unfortunately everyone seemed to wait until the end of the month to get their car inspected! I appreciate how they speak to me as a customer. They answered my questions and were appropriate. despite how busy it was they were fast... there were about 7 cars in front of me! read more

I had been taking our cars here for state inspections years, and LOVED it - it was a fast, easy, reliable state inspection place . The last 2 inspections were horrendous, and I won't be going there again. The cars were perfectly fine and they did NOT pass. It's a giant waste of everyone's time. Most recent "failed" state inspection: I arrived at 2:50 in the afternoon. There were 3 cars ahead of me, only one open seat in the waiting room. I knew I was in for a long wait and that's okay! I had things to read and it was close to the end of the month. About a half hour later I heard them tell another customer that state inspections were taking extra long today because they only had one tech today. That's fine by me, as long as I get mine done. Around 4:00, they pull my car around and tell me that they can't inspect my car because the car "rejected the OBDII reader." Hmmm. What? My husband checked it right before I left the house. I asked if they would try again, but he he said they already tried twice, and if I wanted them to try again, I'd have to go to the back of the line. I wasn't going to risk waiting another hour for this, so I went home, and told my husband about the problem. He tested hooking up the OBDII reader and everything worked fine. So I don't know what the problem was at this Jiffy Lube - mechanic error, equipment malfunction. I wish they had told me about this before they drove it out of the station so that I could see what they were doing incorrectly. The bottom line is that I had an hour completely wasted sitting in a tiny waiting room. Previous "failed" state inspection was because the mechanic did not know how to work the parking brake on my other car. They tried to show me, but I still did not understand why they were having an issue. The parking brake worked before I arrived. The parking brake worked when I got home and had my husband look at it. And the parking brake worked when it brought it back to the same Jiffy Lube the next day. read more

Most expensive oil change I've ever paid for - $99. The cheapest option they gave me was $89. As desperate as I was for an oil change I went ahead and paid for it but I can't help but think I was ripped off. The lady next to me also paid the same amount and we were both confused. Never in my life have I paid that much for an oil change - I usually go to Honda where I pay $35. The service was quick and friendly but I won't be returning. read more

This oil change station is a hit and miss. I came in this time with a Groupon special for $38 and they started to up charge the oil filter which they have never done. Wanted me to pay for additional taxes. Anyway, ended up not getting charge for the oil filter but did pay extra for the .5 qt of extra oil and taxes. I hope they did change the oil filter. I took my car to the dealer before for the previous oil change, I'll take it back there next time and make sure they did change the oil filter. This will be very interesting if not. In regards to vacuuming floors and the rain-x treatment, my 8 year old does a better job. Need I say more..... one last thing. People working there are friendly and courteous. read more

$117 oil change!!! DO NOT GO here! They charged me $117 for an oil change! I had a $68 Groupon for an oil change,&!tire rotation. They told me they didn't have the oil filter so it would take longer. There was no mention of an additional fee. In the end they couldn't do the tire rotation because I need new tires but they charged me $19 for extra oil & the oil filter. $117 and they couldn't figure out how to turn off the maintenance needed light in the car. Never ever give them your business. They will up charge & rip you off! read more

They are not so great at telling the truth or doing their jobs. I went in for a oil change, and only took about 30 min. For my next oil change I went to another shop, the employee who did my oil change had me come out and look at my oil thing (I forgot what its called a fliter maybe?) It had firestone on it. Which was old simply because I went to Firestone for my oil change months before I went Jiffy Lube. So long story short they could not have possibly changed my oil with a new filter and everything. So basically I wasted time almost 70 bucks. The other guy who pointed it out to me told me I should go back and complain. But I decided against it since and finished my oil change there. But beware of Jiffy Lube. There at at least 7 other car shops within a five mile radius that have better morals than jiffy lube. read more

I came in for an oil change and that is all I really wanted. I ordered the best oil you guys offer which is the Pennzoil Ultra fully synthetic. I checked my cars console of any money and noted I had two quarters and a stack of nickels filled to the brim in the slot. I had cigars as well in a Ziploc bag beside the change. A guy who I believe to be the manager named E. Austin told me to get out and wait in the waiting area so I watched him get in my car he has a Tattoo on the right side of his neck that I believe were some letters. I spoke with him and another woman employee they both were very nice and smiled and then I paid $108.76 with my American Express and I noted now the woman employee who I was just speaking with who I did not get her name but she pulled my car around and everything was great because all I wanted was the best oil for my car and that's it. As I got home I checked my console to make sure everything was there just to double check. I then noticed the two quarters were gone and someone went in my cigar bag and might have even taken a cigar. I had my cigar bag folded up well and realized that it looked like someone went in it. I called immediately after spending over $100 with you guys I was robbed of two quarters. I then looked at the invoice and noticed it said you guys cleaned the outside windows? The window still had bird feces and dirt on it so nothing at all was cleaned. This was the first time I have ever had anything done to my car from Jiffy Lube I use to get my oil done from Midas and they never robbed me of my items in my car. On the phone I talked to the manager and he was the guy who actually drove my car! He apologized and told me he would write up a report but if he is the one that stole the money then why would I even want to be talking to him in the first place! Would someone who took money write up a report about it? I don't think so that is why I contacted the headquarters directly. I did not get what I paid for the windows were obviously not cleaned and I was robbed of two quarters is this how your company does business? How do I even know that the right kind of oil I paid for was put into my car? I have lost so much trust in your company this is a first time experience with you guys and you rob me. If I had cameras in my car to catch the guy in the act that stole my money I would prosecute. This is extremely uncalled for no matter if it was just two quarters or a thousand dollars either way it is the same thing you guys robbed me after paying $108.76 for a service that wasn't even completed. I will not return to this Jiffy Lube location or any for that matter. If you want to investigate this matter then please look at your camera footage of someone going through my console between my seats around 4:25PM 8/09/11 someone needs to be fired because I know I am not the first person this has happened to with you guys. After contacting the headquarters and waiting on the phone for help for over an hour until finally I talked to a human, they explained to me that a report will be filed and that I should be receiving a call from that Jiffy Lube location to investigate the matter. Well 21 days later and I have not received any phone call or any emails at all. How long should I wait to hear about this? I have given up on this completely and I will now just tell anyone who is thinking about any maintenance on their car to avoid Jiffy Lube because you guys have not only robbed me of my money, but robbed me of my trust in others. We took our car for an inspection and someone stole all the silver change from our change holder.

On our drive from Wilmington up to Durham, we encountered something on the road that caused a piece of metal to drop down below the frame that scraped whenever we went over a bump. I needed some place to put the car on a lift and check what was happening under the car. My niece recommended this Jiffy Lube to us and we pulled up and in short order they had it on a lift and checked it out. They removed the piece of metal and we were on our way and they did not charge us for their service. Everyone we met was professional and courteous read more

The service agent took a look at an exterior problem on my car for no charge, he also gave me a truthful estimate on how long an inspection would take (longer than usual due to volume). I went somewhere else and got swindled instead! He could tell I was stressed and was really kind and took the time to chat with me about the problem; I really appreciated it. I will never step foot in another Jiffy Lube. After "completing" my oil change, my oil light came on and then started flashing. I was told to bring it back in where the manager decided to "re-do" the service. After that was done my car stalled then the engine seized less than a mile down the road and they refuse to pay.
