I noticed a lot of bad reviews for this store and I don't think it deserves all the flack. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it chance. I came in to get some fluids topped off/changed air filters and did emissions all within 10-15minutes. The team at Jiffy Lube does a great job. One in particular is Westley. Very respectful and professional. Don't forget that people usually only come to yelp to complain, more people should give credit where it's due. read more

Twice I went to this branch for an oil change which is by my work and both times my engine stated having issues afterwards because they drained my coolant and didn't refill it. The first time I took it to the American Fork branch when my engine check light turned on a few days after the Draper branch changed my oil and they said my coolant was bone dry and they took care of it. Of note, I asked them if the coolant tank was leaking and they said it wasn't. I was willing to forgive that oversight but then a day or two after my oil change in December (the next change after that last one) my car's temperature light came on. I pulled into a gas station and (once again) the coolant was bone dry. I filled it up and promised myself to never go to this branch again. A little over a month later and my car is still experiencing issues from it with the light turning on again, the coolant being low again (practically a puddle), and no leaks apparently visible when I filled it again (I imagine the coolant I put in December has flowed to the radiator and that more needs to be added). Going in today to another chain outside of Jiffy Lube to make sure that's what it is but as my car didn't have issues with this before December I imagine that's what it is. read more

Have gotten my oil changed here a few times. It is a bit pricier. I tend to spend $120 for a synthetic oil change and an up sell of one or two other things. This last time today I paid $150 for a full synthetic oil change, coolant top off and new engine filter. Didn't use my coupon because I forgot my phone at home. My bad. They wanted to charge me $40 for my cabin air filter replacement. I declined. You can pay half the price and do it yourself if you have an easy access cabin filter like my Mazda CX-5. I appreciated that they had a female working the last time I went. Giving 4 stars for price and the fact that they forgot to turn off my maintenance light. I had to go back and the female employee helped me do it myself. The mazda dealership charges $70 for an oil change so I think you pay more here for convenience. Also, they recommend an oil change every 7,500 miles apparently my mazda maintenance light is set to every 5K miles as a warning. read more

If I could give this zero stars, I would I literally just went in to get only my front brakes changed and it took 3 1/2 almost 4 hours for them to be done. They finished six other customers cars in the time it took them to change my brakes and I've changed brakes before and I know that it doesn't take that long on top of that. Every time Ive gone there has been a problem. Even something as simple as an emission test. What's worse is it's been new people working there each time so not a specific person is to blame, perhaps an incompetent manager hiring the wrong people for the job. Never going back. First time for oil change and they didn't even replace the washer or tighten it down all the way slowly leaking oil on the oil pan, something I'm glad I checked immediately after the visit. Second time my vin was inputted incorrectly so had to go back and do a second test just to fix a typo for an emission test where obviously the dmv was not going to accept paperwork for a different vin for my vehicle. Third and last time I was told work was done, sent on my way. After immediately discovering the work was NOT done before even leaving the lot, I go back and the cashier asks the tech if he did the work. Tech says he did not and was extremely disrespectful to me when I attempted to ask questions about why not and what my options were. Then the cashier turns around and says he simply "forgot" to let me know. So you tell me one thing but then either forget the fact that you didn't know or you lied to my face? Again, each time was a different set of people. Please go somewhere else unless you plan on being extremely cautious before, during, and after your visit. read more

Absolutely TERRIFYING experience here! I was running errands and drove past this location. Saw a guy holding up a sign for $15 off an oil change. I thought well, I need to get my oil changed and I don't mind saving $15! The man must've assumed I don't know anything about cars because I'm female. I was actually a mechanic in the Army, but I kept that to myself and let him make a fool of himself. He repeatedly referred to my Explorer as an "Exploader" and wouldn't stop calling me SWEETIE! How unprofessional and insulting. I asked about the $15 off and he said it was taken off my total. Later I found it was NOT. But that's the least of my concerns. I left feeling very odd about a couple details. Drove onto the freeway and the hood of my car started jumping up and down! These F'ing morons didn't even latch the hood of my car!!! I was terrified that my hood would catch and fly up before I could safely stop to close it. Looking over my receipt, I realized he did NOT give me the discount that was advertised. He also put my license plate into the system incorrectly with the wrong STATE. He imputed my mileage as 12,200 when my mileage is actually 123,000! Now for a super odd detail...when I got home, my mailbox key was MISSING from my key ring! I have a locking key ring that has to be opened to remove a key. There's no way it fell off MYSTERIOUSLY. At this point I'm just thanking God that I wasn't in a major accident because of these incompetent idiots. Hopefully my oil filter doesn't fall the F off like the last guy's. read more

I have had nothing but issues whenever I go to Jiffy Lube. If you ever want to see the kind of work they do just look at my driveway. I have 3 vehicles that I used to take to get the signature service oil change. Within days if not the same day oil would be leaking from a loose oil filter. I would even remind them to tighten the oil filter because of the problems we have had. What finally did it for me and lost my business with them forever was when my daughters engine seized because the filter wasn't on tight and drained her engine oil. I admit this is also an issue with her car not having the low oil light turn on but still. The oil change had been done less than a month before the engine seized. AVOID JIFFY LUBE AT ALL COSTS. Choose a local mechanic that you trust to do oil changes or just do them yourself, there isn't much cost difference but you will save yourself a huge expense "and messy driveway" in the long run. read more

They did a great job, would recommend. I went in for a basic oil change and inspection. They worked very fast, gave me a discount on the oil change and even capped off my coolant for free. They found some problems with my brake pads and got them changed right away, even extending some more freebies. They are very friendly, professional workers, going above and beyond to get the job done efficiently and the best I could've expected. read more

Big-O-Tires next door could not do my emissions check so reluctantly went here even though they have tried to upsell me in the past by saying items required replacing when vehicle was just serviced . I made it clear only wanted emissions check and on-the-spot sticker which they did. Charged $55 which they said was high because of the on-the-spot sticker fee. No receipt owing to 'problem'. Took wife's car to Curt's Carwash & Emission 1/4 mile down the road and did the same thing for $37. Much friendlier too. read more

0 stars for my service today. Went in to get an oil change, emission testing and 2 lights changed. I askedBryce if they had the month stickers for registration. He said "I don't know but I'll check". So I said "ok I don't want to get it registered here if you don't, I'll just go to the DMV to get it registered if you don't". Asked about the 2 lights. He said he could do them. I got to pay and say "so do you have the stickers". They say yes. I pay, had to ask for a breakdown of what I'm paying for. No lights were on there so I ask if they did them. Tanner said "no we don't have the parts" ok. Cool. Was I just going to be allowed to leave not knowing my lights weren't fixed? I don't believe they cared at all to let me know that they didn't do half the work I requested. I then ask for the month sticker and he said "we don't have them, other jiffy lube locations might but I don't know"...... ok. So I ask "do you know if I can just go to any jiffy lube and ask for them or what?" And he said "I don't know". My tire pressure light is still on, as is my wiper fluid light. So my fluids weren't topped off. I honestly don't even trust that these guys did the oil change. So now I'm going to a different oil place to have them check. I will never go to this location and I will advise everyone I know to never go here. I suggest training your staff to answer something other than "I don't know". read more

If I could give 1/2 star I would. Young guys working there were nice and efficient. Came in for an oil change and to check fluids, filters, and brakes. I just bought a used car for my daughter's first car and told them I wanted everything checked and an oil change at least. The guy who was the supervisor was an a$$. When checking me out I asked what the inspection found and he wouldn't answer. Just kept asking, " you are paying for oil change". I also told them I had a coupon for $20 off synthetic and he still charge me full price. I didn't notice until after I left. Didn't go back, and will never go back. read more

Went in for a basic oil change at 4 PM. I was out by 430. Employees were really friendly and helpful. Waiting room was clean but nothing spectacular. Location is convenient for Draper. I would go back again as long as I have a coupon. For the high mileage synthetic blend it was $67! read more

Let me start by saying I am not leaving this negative review out of spite, just to inform potential customers. My daughter drives a modest import sedan. It's not a performance-based vehicle and per the owners manual does not require special services. She brought her vehicle to this Jiffy Lube and requested a basic oil change. They told her the vehicle requires a specialized oil and quoted her $144 for the complete service. Based on my 35 years of performing vehicle maintenance, the owner manual specifications and current pricing, I told her to refuse the high-end synthetic oil and to ask for a conventional type. They told her they don't carry conventional oil (What oil change business doesn't stock multiple types of oil?) and said her vehicle requires synthetic. I told her to refuse service and to look for another shop. She located a nearby competitors service center. The kind employees provided the correct oil type, only charged her $40 and did not attempt to convince her of other unnecessary repairs. I find it unreasonable, unfair and disappointing that Jiffy Lube employees tried to take advantage of an unsuspecting customer and dishonestly tried to sell her unnecessary services simply because she doesn't understand what tricks they were playing. read more

I have been to this location twice. Both times I was sorely disappointed. Today I went in to drop off my car for an oil change since I work next door. They said they could be done in 15 minutes. Well it took them 20 minutes just to get started on it, then 20 more to change the oil after trying to up sell me on like 10 things that I did not need. They were not honest. They told me I needed new wiper blades which was a lie as I just replaced them a week ago. Bottom line I was quoted $111.92 and paid $162 and some change and it took more than twice as long as what I was told. I will never ever come back. Find a Valvoline or heck, even a Walmart with an auto center and go there instead! read more

My first mistake was going here over firestone. My second mistake was believing the part I needed would be in when I returned today after waiting over an hour yesterday and then also believing my oil change would only take the quoted fifteen minutes. I felt like the employees were all incompetent teenagers and I'm honestly worried they broke something in my car. I will never ever return to a jiffy lube again. My "fifteen minute oil change" took over an hour and a half even though i was the first person in the shop with no other customers for the first thirty minutes. read more

The thought of having to go to the DMV seriously gives me true anxiety. I went to Jiffy Lube to get my emissions test and register my car. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They got me in quickly. The lobby was simple but had enough seating for everyone. They include complimentary coffee and water while you wait. They were super speedy with their services and their prices fair and reasonable. Best of all, they saved me a trip to the DMV! I will be back for future business. read more

Wow! Am I at a different Jiffy Lube? Reviews don't even come close to my experience. I live up the street and come here often. So does my wife. We have not had a bad experience here. Always get stellar service here. Prices are fair to great depending on coupons and discounts. Work has always been great. Never had an issue. I am also given a time estimate when I arrive so I can turn around if I don't have time. They are usually faster. Not sure what people's expectations are. It would take me an hour plus between going to parts store and doing the work myself. Half hour or so wait seems pretty reasonable. Honestly I haven't been anywhere including dealership faster. They do up sell. I just say no if I don't have the coin or the time. Their recommendations do follow service intervals on my vehicle pretty well. Really surprised by the bad reviews. read more

I did not have a good experience at this Jiffy Lube. As a women anytime I go to a mechanic of any kind I'm always weary that I will be tricked into paying for things I don't need because they assume I know nothing about cars. This was my first time changing the oil in our car for years due to my husband always taking our car in for oil changes, but I wanted to take a task off his plate. The mechanic spoke to me like he was very bored, very tired and didn't want to be there and it was only 11 AM. I shocked at how much the price had gone up in the past few years since last I came to Jiffy Lube. He then tried to upsale me, which is fine, I know it's part of their job, but when I said no thank you he acted annoyed. My son tried saying hello to one the mechanic's and he was ignored. I came in on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all, but it still took them a long time to finish. When they finally did finish the guy said they had vacuumed my floors as a complimentary service, but when I got in my car it was clear they hadn't so I was confused why they would tell me they had. Also my car had a very weird smell to it everytime I drove. Like a burning substance. I'm not sure if they had spilt something in my engine and it took like 2 weeks to completely burn up and stop smelling? I know this doesn't sound like the worst experience, but it made me never want to get my oil changed anywhere again, especially Jiffy Lube. And just leave it to my husband. read more

This is the WORST Jiffy Lube I ever been to... and I've been going to Jiffy lubes all over the country since 1989. I pulled in last week for a top off because my oil light went on. the guy there told me they don't give free top offs if you have "economy service " first of all, I have never had a problem getting a top off at any Jiffy lube anywhere, and second, I don't know what economy service is, all I know is I always pay an arm and a leg for full service so I don't understand what he was talking about. but he says this once, they'll do it for me. it wasn't very busy there, only 2 cars ahead of me. but I waited about 15 minutes pull in. finally I get led in and the hood goes up. then this couple off the street walks up and starts talking to the guy.. for at least 5 min... meanwhile I'm sitting there.... then the guy comes back and says, let me just get this other customer rung up and I'll do your car. so he does, then he just stands there jibber jabbering with him for another 5 mins....so by now I've been sitting there almost a half hour but have not seen any one having done any actual work. there was one other guy there and I didn't see him do anything the whole time too. meanwhile a huge line behind me forms and half of them had given up and left. I finally had to tell the guy I had to leave, I was going to be late for work. so all that time wasted. I don't know what was wrong with these guys... didn't they see there were about a dozen of more cars on line??? never again. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

Wow. Came here on the afternoon of July 14th 2022 and I really should have read the other reviews before coming in here. Oil change took 1.5 hours and the main guy (Ken?) needs a real refresher course in customer service. Maybe the other people he spoke to in the lounge didn't care how he addressed them but I am a retired military officer. I don't respond well to cavalier attitudes, the "Joe Cool" types or people who act like customers are in inconvenience. This guy acted like he's the CEO/owner or just plain untouchable. I get that it's an oil changing shop but if I wanted fingerprints all over my door or even on the inside of the windshield, I'd change the oil myself. And I don't know why I expected the floors to be vacuumed either (it even said not done on their receipt). It's been a while since I've been to a Jiffy Lube but judging by my $200+ experience with the $0.50 attitude, I wouldn't come back here. Kylie was nice enough. Just about the only bright spot on this rusted out place. Do yourself a solid and go to the Grease Monkey business on the corner. I definitely won't be back anytime soon. read more

Crap service! Walked In for safety inspection on my ford car. Every guy in the place has tattoos and sagging pants. They smell of cigaret smoke and sit in your car stinking it up. They failed my car for a stupid third light that my car doesn't even come factory with. and charged me for the inspection. I've been to this Jiffy Lube twice in the past week for my safety and emissions tests in order to register my car in Utah (twice because I failed safety the first time due to window tint). Both times, someone ran out of the shop to be greet me when I pulled into the parking lot, and they were friendly and helpful right away. They gave me a discount on the tests without me even asking if there was a discount. With both visits, service was prompt, professional, and friendly. read more

Horrible. They don't know how to read the tire inflation information on my car door. Got it wrong--dangerously so. Seriously? They can't inflate tires correctly?! Didn't fill the radiator but their report said it was full. Ten miles later, the warning light came on. At first apologized, then made excuses and said it was full and that I didn't know what I was talking about. So why the "check coolant light"? Rock chip repair was done wrong. Left a bump on the windshield, which damaged the wiper blade. Then said they don't warranty their work. "WE DON'T WARRANTY [OUR WORK]." read more

Sounds like my review is going to be consistent to others on here. Came in today for a simple oil change on my 2014 Wrangler but after checking all of my fluid levels and readings, they tried to upsale me on everything including a brake fluid flush which I hesitantly agreed to. They said my readings were "urgent" and should be done asap. A simple 70 dollar oil change turned in me spending over $200 on services I question were necessary. I was also told it would take 30 minutes and I was there well over an hour and a half. I left feeling that I needed all of this work done on a 2 year d vehicle that I take very good care of. I think it's time to stick to servicing my car at the dealership. read more
