I went to Take 5 Oil Change on 11.11.25, and it was one of the worst car service experiences I've…read moreever had. I ended up waiting there for almost two hours just for an oil change, and the technician promised me a $20 discount for the wait -- but when everything was done, I never got it. Not long after I left, I discovered that the technician had forgotten to reinstall the oil drain plug. All of the oil leaked out of my car, leaving a huge oily mess all over my driveway. To make it even worse, I found a mechanic's glove left under my hood -- which just shows how careless the service was. I've called and left messages multiple times, but no one from the shop has reached out or offered any help. My car is still sitting in my driveway, completely undrivable, and there's the possibility of engine damage now. I understand mistakes can happen, but this kind of negligence can cause serious engine damage and property loss. I've reached out to the shop for a resolution and hope they take full responsibility -- both for the car and the cleanup. I'm sharing this so others double-check their work before leaving. I truly hope Take 5 improves its quality control and accountability moving forward.

We told them the number we wanted to stay around, but they wouldn't budge. Then a manager named Pablo walked in. The first thing he said was that he was "very busy" and was taking time out of his day to talk to us -- even though we never asked to speak with him. He asked what our absolute max number was, so we told him. We were only about $92 apart. We explained that we did not want to go above our number. Pablo then said, "Are you really going to let three dollars a day stop you from getting this vehicle?" We said yes -- our number is our number. Then he said that three dollars a day for 84 months was "around $7,600." I'm not sure why he thought that helped, because that only confirmed that we weren't going any higher for an extra "three dollars a day." We told him we'd just keep shopping around until we found something within our budget. Pablo replied that we "wouldn't be able to do that anywhere." I told him I've done a lot of research, and we want the best option. He then said that whatever research we've done, he's done more. Well, I would hope so -- selling cars is his job. He also told us that you can't take money to the grave. The negotiation ended with him saying, "I think it's best if we party ways here," then standing up and storming out without a goodbye or anything. Easily the most unprofessional car-buying experience we've ever had. We drove down the road and bought a Cadillac two hours later. Go shop at Landers -- wayyyyyy better experience.
