Came in on a Wednesday morning for a oil change. Drove my car around the back was greeted by Mr. Julio the mechanic. He opened my door escorted me to the waiting area. Waited maybe 10 min was called over by the female mechanic (didn't get her name) she explained pricing and option for my car. Gave me my price told me it shouldn't take too much longer. Paid for my car walked out Mr. Julio had my door open and waved me good bye. What truly impressed me the most is they took the time to vacuum my floors AND my sons car seat!!! Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one and for saving me the extra chore of vacuuming the car! Happy customer will return. read more

It's OK for oil change (alittle pricey), but usually quick. However, they advertise being a full service location and twice I have been turned away for service. The first time was for a cabin filter replacement. I was told they don't do that (contrary to what the website states). #478 (Techs on site : Alex C , Alejandro G , Alex A, Remy F , Dennis ) I arrived to this location at 2:30pm just for an oil change on 04/23/24 and got out near 4:30pm. This was my second time here! As it is closer to home and my (old job ) because I got laid off due to this visit. I thought oil changes take 10-15 mins ? All my belongings were left in my vehicle including the key/fob to run/move the vehicle and a young gentleman Alex brought it inside the building to be inspected/change my oil. I have owned this car since 2012 and always kept up with maintenance. Well suddenly my car wouldn't turn on as the young gentlemen came inside to notify and asked if i ever had issues with it as it would turn off automatically.I addressed it to him I was certain I never had that issue and everything was functioning great before I arrived to this location. It was obvious something was wrong. He returned to my car and i kept hearing my car make noise as they (many of the techs there ) tried to turn it on and move it out. As I am watching all this happen! I am already an hr in , pacing back and forth thinking about what I am going to tell my job! They tried to offer an Uber but stated they wouldnt know what was going to happen to my car because they couldnt find out why it wouldn't turn on. Not only did they figure out they lost the fob to my car key . They had to call mobile lock smith to order me a MANUAL key which is not what I came in with. Because they were also back and forth with the District Manager Omar Valadez and so many miscommunications going on. Unfortunately this Jiffy Lube took a big loss , I requested my money back for my oil change and left with two brand new keys (manual key and button/fob) . I left 2 hours later and arrived at my job and got laid off. I hope this crew takes more consideration and respect of peoples time. Brought my 04 Blazer in to a reputable mechanic yesterday to get my oil filter housing repaired because the tech at Jiffy Lube on Archer saw it was loose and needed repair. They proceeded to "change the oil" but leave the filter alone until I could get it fixed at a shop. They even included my new filter. I get a phone call from the mechanic that it looks as though Jiffy Lube never actually changed the oil and they also gave me the wrong filter. Thought maybe they stepped up since being busted on Dateline but clearly they still have shady practices. read more

Wow! Where do I begin, well I guess the beginning is always best. I asked my wife to take her 2011 Honda CR-V in to this location for an oil change on 12/30/18. I specifically said to get a basic oil change using conventional grade oil. Apparently Jiffy Lube trains or brainwashes their associates into trying to upsell everyone who comes in for an oil service into spending money on unnecessary synthetic oil changes. My wife told them exactly what she was there for and they immediately started with their pushy sales tactics and insisted that a 2011 Honda CR-V with a normally aspirated 2.4 liter gas engine "requires synthetic oil". My wife finally told them that I said that if they continued to push the synthetic oil pitch to just walk away. After she told them that, they finally said that they would use the conventional oil but not without hesitation. After all the nonsense, she drove away and came home. I unfortunately was working and would not be home until the next morning. The next morning I get home and we go out to breakfast and I decide to take a look at the invoice from the Jiffy Lube. I am also consulting with the owners manual and notice that they used the wrong viscosity oil! They are supposed to have the most up to date information on vehicles in regards to service intervals and fluid requirements, so much for that. The vehicle had a mileage of around 104,738 miles prior to the oil change yet somehow the service sticker they printed up said our next oil change was due at 123,703. WTF? Upon seeing all these discrepancies, I decided to head over there immediately after breakfast. I arrived there at around 11:00am and was greeted by a female by the name of Alexandra R who asked how she could help me. I was told by my wife that she was the the associate who waited on her the day prior. I inquired about what it was that took place the day before and she seemed somewhat apprehensive in discussing the matter. I asked several questions regarding the sales tactics that they use as well as why they would use the wrong viscosity oil. She proceeded to explain that she told my wife that they only had 0W-20 oil in synthetic grade and that 5W-20 was the only viscosity oil they had in conventional oil for her vehicle. My wife says that she was never told that they would be using the wrong viscosity oil. I then addressed the mileage issue on the service sticker and she said that she would correct it. The mileage was corrected but I didn't walk away feeling very confident. Prior to leaving I was given the name of the business owner and I tried to contact him to no avail. I left him a voicemail and asked him to return my call asap. Now hey, I understand that it's New Years Eve and that maybe you aren't in the office but come on. 2 more days go on and Cecilio has not returned my call which is why I am here writing this Yelp review. It's truly a shame that a business owner doesn't care about his business or his customers enough to take some time to address some issues involving his employees and his companies business practices. I went for lube and oil change. I told them to grease all the fittings. They assured me that they did. They even told me 11 fittings.. Well I go under the vehicle when I got home.. I looked under the vehicle and saw that they did not grease Any fittings. I went back to complain. They claimed they greased it again.. For a second time, I went under the vehicle, and checked again. They didn't grease several fittings. The guy claims he couldn't find the fittings. If that were the case, why charge me for incomplete work. The grease they use it white, that way it's easy to distinguish from the black chassis. . The reason I didn't do myself, too damn cold for me.. I do it in the summer myself. If I had a heated garage this would not be a issue for me. They made excuses, no apologies or refund uncompleted work.... read more

After searching yelp reviews for a place to get my oil changed in my new car I came across nothing but bad reviews about Jiffy Lube. So, after my experience today I thought it only best to share my positive oil change experience on yelp. I was in and out in around 20 minutes, was greeted with extremely polite mechanics, and couldn't be happier. The technicians held the doors open for me in and out and even opened the car door for both me and my boyfriend. The price is slightly higher than most places, but not by much. I'd say the synthetic blend oil change is maybe ten dollars more than other places and that's only if I would have found a coupon. I made an appointment at Discount Tire and they said to expect a wait of 2 hours, so I cancelled. Thank for the jiffy service, Jiffy Lube! read more

Wow !!! All I can say is WHAT A JOKE. Who changes your oil and doesn't reset your dashboard ? Then asks me if I want her to tell me how to reset it myself over the phone. To top that off the the lady in front who clearly has zero customer service training explains that they're not perfect and they make mistakes too , WTF . No wonder they have very little business. Getting an oil change right now. Been here a couple times before for top-offs and little stuff. So far, I'm impressed. Julio is taking care of me and he's freaking awesome. Super nice guy. Really seems concerned about making me a happy customer. Marisol, the lady who ran me through the paces for what kind of oil and recommended maintenance items was also awesome. You can tell Julio and Marisol love their jobs here and love working with people! I would definitely come back here for service. Went to this location yesterday, They asked if I wanted the air filter changed and I said no I'm in a bit of a hurry just change the oil. So they did get me out in a hurry. In such a hurry they did not tighten the filter, I found oil on my garage floor. When I checked the oil level the next morning before I left for work it was one quart low. They also marked the windshield fluid filled, it was not. If they can't fill fluids to the proper line my confidence in this place is gone. My advise to all is to check your oil level before you drive off the lot. Also check for oil on the floor were you normally park for the night. KS read more

Went on September 16, 2011 for an oil change at 6:30 p.m. I was told by a worker that they couldn't service me since they were closing early. I said well you don't close until 7:00 p.m. I was denied service and left. I will not go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. I will be calling their manager tomorrow and I emailed their corporate office. Also, why do you have to pay extra for them to clean your car. I don't ask for that. I just want an oil change. Maybe they should teach their workers that the customer comes first not starting their Friday night early. read more

I went to get an oil change at 6pm on Wednesday evening. They claimed they checked all of my fluid levels, which included my coolant. I have this listed in my receipt. I didn't drive until the next day. I drove to work, which is 3.4 miles, and then on the way back I drove about 4 miles when my car just died in the middle of a busy road. It was not a hot day, in fact it had rained that morning. When my mechanic check out my car that day they told me that there was a crack in my thermostat housing, and that coolant was leaking. Yet, the day before, Jiffy Lube stated that my coolant levels were ok. When I was being towed to the mechanic, the tow truck guy told me that he had temporarily worked for Jiffy Lube, and they weren't always honest about what they actually do complete. He also told me that this summer he has had numerous complaints about Jiffy Lube from the people he has towed. Do not make the same mistake I made. read more

I was told by the technician I needed additional services. When I asked him to explain the reasoning behind his recommendation he gave me an answer that did not add up. I told him I felt he was wrong and he became frustrated with me. The supervisor did not have a response for the work that was requested, I payed my bill and was on my way. I took my car to my mechanic immediately following the Jiffy Lube incident and was told my car had no issues. My car is a 2013 with 39,000 miles and in excellent condition. Well the previous review was horrible, but mine is almost exactly a year later and I had a great experience at this location. I went in on a busy Saturday afternoon, 9/8/2012 and the service was very fast. I had an emailed coupon sent to me from the Jiffy Lube on 31st in Bridgeport for $14 off a signature oil change and the manager, Enrique said he would honor it even though it wasn't from that location. The technician that worked on my car printed out all of the things that I needed to take care of on my car, like brakes, etc., so that I could get that stuff done regardless of whether or not it was done by them. Most importantly, they were all young guys working there, but they were all very respectable to me and professional, which is a BIG PLUS in my book. Quite a few times I have gone to different places for an oil change and the guys are bust trying to hit on me, so it was nice to be treated professionally. I definitely will go back to this location. And FYI, Enrique told me that he just became manager a few weeks back, so maybe he whipped the store back into shape since that time the last reviewer went. read more

I was overdue for an oil change. I usually take it to the dealership for any services, but since relocating to the neighborhood, its a trek and I guiltily kept putting it off. Then, while driving down Archer, I see a guy spinning an arrow boasting "$10 Off". A sucker for a deal, I decide to give them a try. I am SO glad I did. Listen, it's an oil change so my expectations really aren't that high...don't mess it up, don't overcharge me, and don't make me wait too long. Never before would I have expected the level of customer service, courtesy, and care that I experienced here. No kidding...they treat you like you have walked into a 5-star hotel. Opening the doors for you, showing you where to watch your step, offering coffee, detailing what to expect, and giving a clear indication as to the (short) length of time you'll be waiting. This is the only place I go for my oil change and these guys have a very fast and efficient service. There are times of the day that it gets busy but the techs get people in and out efficiently. I've come to this jiffy lube a few times for an oil change and everything was great. Except for the time I came in for them to fix my ac. First time i came in they said they were out but to come back in a few days, ok no problem! The second time i made a trip to them i called before going to make sure they got their order in which they told me yes to come on by. Not only did they not mention they didn't have everything they needed after i had been sitting there for an hour with my car not being touched at all, they told me they had to youtube how to put ac in my car (why they admitted to this I'll never know). The only reason they even decided to mention to me they didn't have all the required equipment was because they could tell i was getting pissed. After having sat there for OVER an hour they asked if could come back at a different time. Never before have i felt so disrespected.
