From June through August of 2018, i repeatedly brought my 2006 Buick Lucerne in for service because it kept on dying, and they couldn't figure it out. They put in cam positioning sensor, O2 sensor, and the ECU twice for a total of 4 visits. It finally didn't die out. After 6 months it began dying out again. After researching it myself, I FIXED IT with an ignition control module! That's all it needed in the first place! On top of that, the car had some minor bumper damage while at their shop. read more

After Hours Auto Repair - My 2006 Lucerne. - Auto Repair Near Me - Cicero, Illinois

Used to come here to get my 2003 Chevy car fixed, the owner was pretty cool as he taught me about my car and how each equipment worked with one another and why it was important to keep up with my car. Prices varied, first come first serve! So get there early! read more

Best mechanic around. Jeff is a great and honest mechanic. I've never had any issues with the work done in his shop and the pricing is very transparent. You see a detailed list of what is being charged to you in your receipt. He also calls and lets you know what your car will need before doing any work. How many mechanics would tell you that you don't need something replaced? Not many. Most mechanics will do whatever to scrape some extra cash off you but not this one. read more

I can't recommend this place enough! The quality and value of his work cannot be matched.

Jeff is very honest mechanic. I recommend all my family to him when there looking for work to be done on there car.

I'm sure they are a great business and are pretty busy, though I need to talk with someone directly over the phone and the business number 708-652-2900 has a mailbox full and nobody answers. 13 calls to find information in regards to my car. read more

Got my aftermarket exhaust installed here. They gave me the lowest price out of the 20 places that I called for installation quotes. Excellent service from my experience. read more

Great local mechanic (Cicero Illinois Local). The owner is a very pleasing person and he will try to accommodate your vehicle as prompt as possible, this is a pretty busy shop due to their great service. The mechanics are nothing less than Master mechanics, they do this on a daily basis and are great at their job! Definitely a recommendable auto repair shop! read more

My car needed an oil change, axle and air conditioner repair. Jeff was professional, honest, and punctual. The prices are similar to what my mechanic charges me in DuPage. I would definitely recommend this shop to other people. read more

Great people, great service. I am glad I found them. Very trustworthy. I would not take my car any where else. Always ready to help. read more

I like that they don't charge you to check the car. Other places charge at least $50 just to look at the vehicle. I got charged $180 for labor on changing the radiator. It's a professional shop!!! Think about what it takes to run a business. If you don't like the prices then it cost you nothing and go take it to your alley mechanic. read more

I've been going to after hours auto for years and I have always received excellent service at an excellent price. My first experience was after another Mechanic tried to take me to the cleaners my friend recommended to these guys for a second opinion. Turned out I didn't need the expensive repair the first guy said and I've been going back ever since. read more

I know that the last time I wrote about After Hours I gave them five stars. I had two dash lights on today and an issue with a headlight. He got me in - took care of everything at a cost so affordable I almost felt like I was taking advantage of him. Please bring Jeff your business. He will earn your loyalty. read more

No do not go here at all! Talk about a rip off friends and I have both gone here and have been charged outrageous amounts for their crappy work! This place is the last place you want to go. read more

I took my camaro to after hours and they did a great job. I left it with them for a few weeks while parts came in and they were very patient and professional while things were coming in. When I came back to pick up the car I was expecting a big bill for everything they did and when he charged me I was so happy and surprised he was more than fair. I'll definitely be back with any problems I have with any other of my cars and highly recommended this shop I wish I could rate it higher read more

If I was living in this area and needed any kind of car repair this is the only place I would ever go. How I found this place was my ex wife's father used to tow for them and one day years ago I had a problem with my car and he said go to after hours in Cicero they will take care of it . So never being there I was skeptical because a lot of garages are all about making the money rather than customer service. Got my car back from the first repair all fixed fast turnaround friendly owners good price. 10 years later I'm bringing my daughters car here to have fixed. I have had everything done from oil changes to alignments to major electrical problems.Jeff and Keith go out of their way to make sure your getting quality work for your money. They value their return customers and treat you like family. If I could give them 10 stars I would do yourself a favor and bring your car here for a simple oil change or a major transmission issue it will be fixed perfectly and unlike most shops there is no pressure to replace things that don't need replacement what you get here is old school mechanics at affordable prices. read more

Very unprofessional, I made an appointment to get my car fix. Drove from Sterling which by the way is 2 hours away from this shop. I get there 15 mins before my appointment and the guy tells me he can't work on my car and that I will have to wait til Monday. That was by far a waste of my time and gas the worst service and unprofessional thing to do. If you thinking of getting your vehicle service there go somewhere else. Negocio Malo!!!! read more

very shaddy place they did a horrible alignment job on my truck and when i went right back 5 min after leaving their to see if they can pull it back in and get it right , the guy started screaming and swearing at me resulting in me demanding my money back .. i thought i was going to be attacked by the guy ...... this place is very unprofessional .... BE CAREFUL!!!!! VERY BAD WORK AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMOR CARE ... read more

We have been going to these guys for years. Honest, professional, quick, very reasonable prices. My son is also a mechanic but when he can't work on our truck, we bring it here and completely trust their work and prices. The two bad reviews on here seem totally bogus and I wonder if maybe they are reviewing the wrong place because it does not sound like this place at all. read more
