Got my oil changed today. Had a bit of a wait, only because both stalls were full (I always go prepared to wait, so big deal). The team was great, very courteous, very nice and sincere; kept me updated as to status. I had a coupon for $5 off a regular oil change; they gave me $10 off since I use the Signature oil change, so I appreciated that. Didn't push any of the other services or products. So I tried to get tires from these guys twice now. First time they didn't even order it for like weeks and apologized for not doing so. One of the tires popped somehow and I went to get a warranty one. They tell me twice they didn't order it and then did. I finally called them and was like where is it. They told me they didn't order it again. I've been driving around on my donut for awhile now and I'm just going to go to fire stone and buy one from them in stock. I went in on a Friday afternoon to get an oil change. Their website and sign both said they were open until 6pm, and their neon "open" sign was on. I went inside and there was another customer waiting, but no employees. I saw two employees in the garage area through the window, and heard them chatting. I waited for 10 minutes, and finally one of the employees came inside and asked me what I needed. I asked for an oil change, and she said they were closing soon and couldn't do it. I asked "It's just after 5:00...don't you close at 6:00?" And she said yes, but they couldn't help me. She didn't give a good reason or anything. I was surprised, because when I'd used Jiffy Lube in other cities I never had problems getting day-of service, especially if it was slow. I told some friends and coworkers about the experience and they all said they had never had a good experience with that Jiffy Lube. I recommend making an appointment if you want to use this Jiffy Lube - walk-ins not welcome! read more

Drove my car around with the windows down which is fine, but lost my apartment parking pass from it. When they changed my oil they did not put my filter on right which caused issues. Most staff does not seem to have adequate training or knowledge on cars read more

It's stupid to expect too much from a chain oil change place, but I don't appreciate being lied to, which is what happened when I went in. Services were not rendered that were asked for and labeled as completed on the printout. I'm not even sure if they actually changed my oil. Best to avoid. read more

Sure, they changed my oil, were friendly, and vacuumed my car, but they UPSELL and LIE. I was prompted to conduct $300 of unnecessary service to my car, when it was in fact all up to date. They also stated I had a rear light out, and wanted to charge me $15 for the light, and couldn't even tell me what light it was when I asked! It was apparently the license plate light, both of which are working and LED. Very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

Went for standard simple oil change. They were not pushy about air filters or wiper blades. Simply changed my oil pretty quickly and did the normal checks. I had a coupon which brought the price to about what I could it for myself. The staff was young, but energetic and courteous. Waiting area was clean and warm. Had coffee (didn't try it) and a variety of magazines. read more

I will never be going back to Jiffy Lube. Every time I was there for an oil change they would try selling me things my car clearly didn't need. Like new brake pads on a brand new car. I decided to stop going to them after 3 oil changes and my boyfriend tried to change my oil for me, but they had rounded the drain plug off. I took it somewhere else after and I had to buy a new drain plug. Cheap part, but highly annoying. Staff does not use the correct tools and tries to scam you into spending more money. read more

I will never go back to this Jiffy Lube again. I have been using them for the past year and have never had a good experience. I have watch them take advantage of a woman, by telling her she need many different things done to her vehicle and then it took them over an hour to change my oil. At this same visit when I ask them to rotate my tires, they said they did not have enough time, because of this other vehicle they need to make a lot of repairs on. Another time when they did rotate my tires it took over an hour for the service to be completed. during the hour 4 other oil changes were completed before my tires were rotated and only after I complained did they start working on my vehicle again. Most recently, I just wanted an oil change and I knew there was a headlight out, so I ask them to change it. Again it took over an hour to change the oil and a light bulb. There is nothing quick about this dingy facility. Also, watch out for add-ons, they really like to ask you if you would like them to do something, but they do not tell you that it will cost extra until it is time to pay the bill. I have been going to this JL for years. Over the past year or so, service progressively getting worst. Today was the last straw. Told me needed a brake pads when I had just had them done the previous month. Sat in my vehicle reading their report--which of course they go over with you, looking through my dirty windows but seeing the "check off they had cleaned them". Proceeded to check the dashboard gauge on tire pressure to find the tires were no where near what the "report indicated they had set them at". Now makes me wonder about the "extra services I was told were needed and had done". Had them throw the replaced parts in my vehicle--going to get some opinions. Got a "coupon" for the inconvenience and a "see you next time". Well, that's not going to happen. read more

Not too pleased...My wife (Julie Borunda) and I went to the Cedar Falls location for a simple oil and filter. We just bought the vehicle (04 Trailblazer) that had plenty of work to do on it that the dealer was going to remedy. We just needed oil and filter because the oil in the engine was old. The next thing we knew, we were charged nearly 50.00, but instead of saying anything, decided we would just not go back. But later, and after the expensive service I just received, the coolant was extremely low, P/S fluid low, and only and average of 22 PSI in tires that require 42 PSI. In essence, this "signature service" ended up costing me twice as much as it should have, as nothing was done although the "sales person" said all these things would be done. She said that the price included topping fluids, tires checked and windows and vacuuming, but I told her no because the vehicle was spotless, just being detailed. Her attitude became rather uncomfortable when the first thing done (within 30 seconds) trying to sell me an air filter. Remember: 96% of unhappy customers don't complain, however 91% of those will simply leave and never come back. I seriously doubt complaining will do me no good, either, but as a networker and writer, I am certain many will hear about this encounter. read more
