That I waited too long lol what?! Also that I took it to two repair shows. The first one doesn't repair diffs so I had to take it to a second place. She, Emily the manager, didn't deny it was their fault, just that those are the reasons. PATHETIC! Whomever is reading this, BEWARE of this place and Valvoline. Absolutely loved working with Daniel and the whole team here--they're all extremely professional, personable, and know their stuff. I'm no car expert (otherwise I wouldn't be here, right?) and they were always patient and helpful in explaining the issues without being condescending. The free shuttle service is great for longer repairs -- and one of the reasons I was drawn here in the first place. Or you can sit and wait for something quick like an oil change. What might be my favorite thing is that most communication can be done via text or online forms. While I love to talk to people, my day is usually full of conference calls and it's much faster to just send a quick text or check a box to approve repairs, rather than wait an hour or two for the call to end just to call them and give them the go ahead. I wasn't expecting that at all, but it's so much more convenient than having to play phone tag. And of course the quality of the work is fantastic -- without going into a ton of detail of our exact repairs, they were able to fix two ongoing problems with speed and ease, while the shop that found the problem in the first place still hasn't even called me back. Very impressed and plan to come back here for any future issues. First of all, they are way overpriced. Second of all, they aren't very knowledgeable. Third, they are just stubborn and won't work with you on how you want to approach the issue with your vehicle, even when they are recommending stuff that has nothing to do with the issue that brought you in. My car had a coolant issue and was overheating. I had already heard bad things about this place but I took my car there bc it is quite close to my house and you can't go far on a car that overheats. They charged $100 just to even look at it and got absolutely nowhere on the overheating issue. They recommended that I start by changing both batteries, for about $400 a pop. They acknowledged that there is almost zero chance this was causing the issue but wanted to press on anyway so that they "get proper computer readings". They had no clue why it was overheating. I have a German car and I know they're not worked on in every shop so I'm sympathetic to that. These guys insisted that their mechanic grew up in Germany and this was absolutely the way to go. They refused to try anything else unless I bought new batteries from them. So I fired them. Best decision I've made in a long time. In fairness, they were extremely polite to me when I came to pick up my car and give them their $100 (which I maintain was paid for absolutely zero benefit to me). I limped the car to Autobahn (formerly Bosch Auto) on the other side of I69. They assessed the issue (for free), replaced the coolant reservoir (it had leaked), and identified that the overheating was a gasket issue, which they also replaced. My car is working tip top now and the whole bill was $1,600. Christian brothers wanted me to get to $900 before they even started to address the actual issue that brought me in!! And they wouldn't take no for an answer. Just kept fighting with me on the phone until I gave up on them. The car has been running beautifully since I picked it up. And btw, still has the same batteries that Christian brothers wanted to take out and replace, which had nothing to do with the overheating or the empty coolant reservoir. Thanks Auobahn! Todd (from the Greenwood location) commented saying Big O was! It is not the closest tire shop to us (by far), but we agreed we need to have it done and we had the day off work. We dropped it off and when we went to pick it up a bit later, they explained to us some issues with the tires, caused by the struts. He provided an estimate to us which was $3,000. The tire was patched (for free!), though. We brought the estimate home and did some of our own research. We even attempted to have a second opinion later in the week but no one would answer the phone at the location we tried. We scheduled with Big O, and he was able to bring the price down some with their Labor Day tire deal. They did the work within one day and called us (twice, actually) to let us know the work was completed. It was nice that the invoice was less than we were expecting, and the truck rides really great now!! The only "issue" is that our estimate shows us having a Chevy Lumina and our invoice shows a Honda Civic...and they can't actually figure out why the Silverado information doesn't stick. I'm just glad their mechanic work was good! Haha.

They checked out my brakes, found out what was wrong and was able to diagnosis the issue. They explained the issue thoroughly and also pointed out some other issues with my vehicle that needed to be addressed. They actually showed me on the vehicle what was wrong and I saw and understood it. I did not feel any pressure to get any of the work done, which was a pleasant surprise. I opted to get the brakes fixed and they were not busy so they took care of it right there. I hung out in their waiting area which has free wifi, a phone charging station, and basic cable on television. I was not there long. I would say about an hour and a half. The staff there was friendly informative and very helpful. After my brake job was done, they gave me a printout with the other work that needed to be done and estimates for each. My visit here was refreshing. I normally hate going to car repair shops because I feel that most of them take advantage of you. I did not feel that here. I knew that I needed brakes and it was a reasonable price (they gave me some discounts). They also did not try to up sell or pressure me to getting more work done.

They took the guests that were there and the appointments over the walk ins which we appreciate because some shops prioritize the walk ins. We appreciate how the management is working here, how when a technician pulled the truck out they heard tire rub (which is normal on a 2500 sized truck with wide tires on it)but the manger immediately checked on it to make sure that everything was alright with the truck. To get all 4 tires done it took about 1 hour and 30 mins roughly which is the quickest we've had tires taken off the rim, put back on the rim and balanced! Great crew and great service!

I contacted corporate while sitting outside still being ignored, i managed to get the managers name i went in and gave it a piece of my mind because they had been so rude and bad at handling customers. Then every employee waved and cheered as i left angry, embarrassed, and discriminated against for being female. Is this how a business is supposed to run? Ignoring customers and then being rude to when they try to get service? Autumn needs fired and so does everyone else at this location. That behavior was un called for.
