US31 location is the worst. I got ignored 30mins, no acknowledgement or ETA of when I could get in NOTHING. I eventually got told "well fleet is where we get our most our business from" im like uhhh hello hi im business. I contacted corporate while sitting outside still being ignored, i managed to get the managers name i went in and gave it a piece of my mind because they had been so rude and bad at handling customers. Then every employee waved and cheered as i left angry, embarrassed, and discriminated against for being female. Is this how a business is supposed to run? Ignoring customers and then being rude to when they try to get service? Autumn needs fired and so does everyone else at this location. That behavior was un called for. read more

I've used Take5 on US31 since they opened this location. The staff is always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They keep my records and know what needs serviced but they are never pushy. The job was completed promptly and they keep me informed while they are doing it. I love staying in my car while its being serviced. My wait time is never long, although like most businesses weekdays and earlier times are less busy. I will continue to return to this location for my routine oil changes. read more

I was down by Franciscan for an early doctor's appointment and decided to run a couple of errands and grab lunch. I actually just drove by this Take 5, which looks like it's a fairly new location, and had remembered reading their signage indicating you could stay in the car. As I'm a wheelchair user who hates dragging my wheelchair out for a 10-minute stop, this works perfectly for me. So, I pulled up and was greeted by Pedro, one of three men who were working today and he got me situated in front of the only empty bay. It was a fun touch that they handed out a snack sized Reese's Take 5 and a bottle of water. I'm assuming this is an "opening" gesture, but I thought it was fun. They were working on other cars and let me know it would be a few minutes, however, it wouldn't be long and the oil change itself would take about 10 minutes. As noted, I did stay in the car and this is actually the expectation. The bays are more spacious than some other locations I've seen and for an oil change business it was also surprisingly clean. It was a tad noisy, not unexpected, and I had to ask for repeats a handful of times. All three of the employees, one was actually the manager - DJ, were friendly and made a point of introducing themselves. While it did take a few minutes for them to start, Pedro regularly checked in. They did all the usual stuff - air up tires, wash the windows, check and replace fluids, etc. They were refreshing in that there were no hard up-sells. The only thing mentioned was the air filter and they noted it didn't need to be replaced. They have multiple layers of oil changes basically divided between cars under 75,000 miles and cars over 75,000 miles. I appreciated that they didn't hard-sell the highest level of oil change. I went with a high mileage option that was $69.99 plus tax. It's a little higher than some places, though those other places nearly always try to get you to buy other stuff. This was friendly and low pressure. This was just a really pleasant experience. They double-checked to make sure everything was sealed and tightened before I left and the oil change itself was right around 10 minutes. There's also a new Take 5 fairly close to my home and based upon this experience I'll no doubt give them a try. While it may be a bit more expensive, the service is friendly and helpful, the prices are fair, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the convenience of staying in my car is a perk I really, really like. Take 5 is a national chain with 673 locations nationwide. They do have some coupons online and you can text them to your phone. Individual locations may also have coupons. Best oil change experience hands down. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My service was completed promptly. I am thankful this location keeps my oil filter and oil type in stock as I have had bad luck with several other businesses lacking in the inventory. My technician was considerate for asking for a coupon and suggesting I find one before paying full price. I appreciated the savings that was not previously expected. My wait time was not long but I do suggest going earlier in the day. The stay in your car aspect is my favorite feature from Take 5. I will continue to return to this location for my routine oil changes. read more

Out running errands with my husband early this morning and he said we should go ahead and get our oil changed since there was no line at Take 5. I have been to take 5 before but not this location- the staff, Josh and DJ were helpful and friendly. Take 5 always gives you a Reese's take 5 bar and a water when you pull up. You always stay in your car the whole time. We found a $10 off coupon online and used that. They check all your fluids and do a safety test as well- it doesn't take more than 15 minutes to get through everything. They also gave us a coupon for next time. They have quickly become my go to spot for oil change as they are easy to get to, friendly, fast and not pushy read more

I was extremely impressed by the service, professionalism and coordinated communication between Techs so everyone was on the page and conducted a fast, smooth service. I came in for an oil change and asked for a specific brand and weight. they said they had it and started the oil change but only to find out they did not have enough oil so they substituted halfway through a different oil without asking but still charge me the charge for the oil I asked. The service here is super slow and inefficient. I learned my lesson once again that fast oil changes are not the place to go if you want to take care of your car. read more

My son and I went to Take 5 Oil Change on a Saturday, August 17 two hours before closing time and a worker was coming out to cars telling them they couldn't change our oil because they had to take one hour to clean their establishment! They turned away multiple customers. Sunday, August 18 we returned and had a horrible experience. The on site manager below the General Manager was very rude and called me stupid to my son not knowing we were related because we have different last names. They said they were short handed because only 2 people were working and had no other waiting people for an oil change. When we first pulled up they ran out and said we would have to wait an hour because they were on "lunch break.". I came here because I had prior hood service from General Manager Autumn who was not there on Saturday or Sunday, His was a horrible experience and I would never visit this location again near Walmart. read more

While this was my first time at this location it was not my first trip to Take 5. The guys and gals who work for both Take 5's that I've been to have been extremely professional and kind. You don't have to get out of your car which makes the process very smooth. Everybody in the bay works as a team to get you in and out all will making sure they've tightened all the bolts, plugs, and filters. I highly recommend Take 5! read more

I went to store #1109 today 07/29/2023 at 10:46 am and had a full synthetic oil change and replaced 2 filters. The issue I have is the service was sketchy and I am wondering if I should go to Valvoline to check the work. I mentioned a tire was leaking, they said they would check it. I even reminded the tech and all he said was, they checked tires. They did not, I went directly to a gas station and found the tire I mentioned was at 28 psi. They did not clean windshield, I have no idea what they did under the hood. The only thing I can confirm they did was change filters. That is because I watched them do that. The sticker has my next oil change due in 3000 miles, even though I have a Mazda. They even spelled my name wrong when I spelling it out for them. Very disappointed because this location is close to home. Would not recommend. read more

I normally take my car to the dealership to have it serviced. But they couldn't get me I. Until January 12th! And I was already over due for my oil change. I saw the new Take 5 on 31 and decided to give it a try. The team was fantastic. I was greeted by Ethan with a bottle of water and candy bar. I stayed in my car and He talked me through each step of the service. Explaining the different types of oil and filters and letting me decide without being pushy and trying to up sell me. They changed the oil, checked all my tires cleaned my windshield and changed filters. At the end of service the manager, who had also been helping work in my car introduced himself, DJ. First time here and went because I thought it was going to be quicker than normal oil changes. I knew it wasn't going to be a 10 min oil change but I didn't expect to wait over 45 min being next in line to enter the garage, another 20 min for them to get to me once I pulled in while they worked on another vehicle or 20 min for them to complete the change once they got to me. Employees were professional for sure(thats where the fourth star came in). Pricing was no different than anywhere else so the main benefit was supposed to be speed. Manager was great and offered to comp the service but I declined as I didnt want anything for free. I may try it again in the future. read more
