We waited over 1.5 hours for an oil change after being told it would only take 30 minutes. Once we reached the bay, the technician drained the oil and then informed us they were out of oil filters. They had to get more from across the street, which caused an additional 30-40 minute delay on top of the supposed "15-minute" oil change. We paid full price, and while the technician did apologize, it would have been nice if they had checked if we had time to wait before starting the process. After our 2.5-hour oil change, my fiancé called the location to discuss our experience with the manager. He spoke with someone who is presumed to be the manager named, "AJ or DJ." The manager was extremely rude, interrupting and yelling at my fiancé while he was mid-sentence. What shocked us even more was when the manager laughed at him and blatantly ignored everything my fiancé said after explaining that people plan their day around estimated service times and that this delay caused him to miss most of his nephew's first birthday. He told him to call corporate to "complain" because they are owned by corporate. We weren't even complaining, just providing feedback from our experience, as we have done for both good and bad experiences. Most managers appreciate hearing both positive and negative feedback from customers, so they can improve their operations. This situation became LESS about the oil change and MORE about how the manager treated a customer. If he's treating customers this way, it makes us wonder how he treats and trains his employees. This is deeply disappointing because we know Valvoline doesn't stand for this in their business model, and we hope action is taken seriously. We've never encountered such poor treatment at any business and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. Due to this experience, we will not be returning to this location and will take our business to a different Valvoline. Please do NOT support this location. 0/10 recommend.

Do not recommend. Went in for an oil change, left with a car maintenance (and customer service)…read moreproblem. After my routine oil change, my car began leaking oil. I returned to the Valvoline later the same day. There was one employee left for the day, even though it was more than an hour before they closed, and he said he wouldn't be able to "do anything" on his own (?) but went below the car to check. He said it was just "frame oil" meaning oil dripped during the change. He said he wiped it up and I should be good. When I woke up the next morning, my car was still leaking oil. My partner took the car in and had them re-do the oil change. He also checked my tire pressure and found one of the tires was almost flat. He asked the Valvoline employees if they checked my tire pressure the day before and they said they did. While Valvoline claims that oil change services include an 18-point maintenance check, which includes tire pressure, my receipt from the day before indicated that the tire pressure was not checked. So I guess you have to explicitly ask for air in your tires, even though the marketing includes that as part of the service you're paying for. Amazing. The re-did oil change was performed free of charge. It did not fix the leak. So began a claim process with Valvoline corporate. Valvoline corporate had me get the issue diagnosed at a mechanic and get a quote. The diagnosis was that the oil filter housing was crushed and damaged. Apparently not uncommon at quick oil change places that use machines and move quickly. Quote was more than $300. There was also a nail in my tire. Good to know. So I sent the quote to Valvoline corporate. They said they'd get back to me within 48 hours. I called back a few days later, they said they had to wait for the manager to approve it. This went on for a couple weeks. At one point a call rep mentioned offhand that the money had already been transferred to the mechanic for the work. I asked if I could go get the work done then, since Valvoline had paid for it. They said no, we had to wait for the local Valvoline location manager to approve it, that's "just how it works." They would put me on hold and call the branch and no one would answer. What a huge flaw in the system, huh. That happened multiple times. Valvoline corporate assured me they would call me back and they never, not once, did. After about a month, my car slowly leaking oil this entire time, I called one last time. The rep pulled up my claim and immediately apologized and said he was escalating it to every manager and they would get back to me the next business day. I waited a week after that and then finally just went to the mechanic and got the fix done that Valvoline had already paid for. I'm not sure why any sane person would wait as long as I did to get a "green light" from a manager who clearly did not care. The customer service process seems intentionally created to put all the burden on the customer. What is happening that nowadays we go to a get an oil change, receive a maintenance problem instead, and the company runs in circles for five weeks. At least my car was drivable in the meantime. At least Valvoline did pay for the repair. But I should have at the very least also received a refund for the botched oil change in the first place without having to ask.

We took our 2016 Chevy Malibu to them for the check engine light for catalytic converter. Over $2k…read moreto fix it , after we got our vehicle back the light came back on for the same thing. Took it back to them to do whatever they did, got the car back engine light back on a couple day later for same thing . Took it back in and Nicole that was working there at the time said they put faulty 02 sensors on our vehicle, so we got that replaced again. Engine light back on again. Nicole told us to take the car to dealership, because they said it might need to be reprogrammed and that they will cover the cost. ( never covered the cost). We took it to Chevy they had our car for like 4 days. They said it was an after market converter and that we need OEM. Took it back to Meineke and they claim they put the oem on. Got the car back and now code is off for the converter and now code is on for throttle body. Paid another $700 got the car back code back on for throttle body, took it back they did whatever they said they did once again, got the car back and code back on once again. Took it back and they had our car for 10 days in a row and the engine light came right back on next day and our car was making noises and underbody In worse condition. So stupid, cause we gave it back to them again and they did some so called stuff to it, got it back engine light right back on for same thing again. It's like they did nothing but unplug the battery and plug it back up to shut off the engine light for a moment. We been dealing with them for months for the same codes. The engine light is still on for the same thing that they fixed. They had our car so many times it's crazy just for the code to still be on and we paid over 3k. It's fair to get our money back because they did not fix the code as they said they would and it is still on. We tried to get our money back and the manager said it's "beyond his pay rate". And gave us an email . They did not fix the issue. Our car got messed up even more in the mix. But we just want our money back for what they said they fixed and the code still on for it. Just a bad experience overall and this right here is why people be scared to go to these mechanics. $3k and the light is still on after they said it will be off when they fix it. We did go get engine light diagnostic and print out everytime we got the car back from them when the light cut back on. I am disgusted and am going to report them everywhere. We gave them our car over 10 times over the past few months and no progress. I refuse to give them the car again because damage has been done to it being on their property. It's better to go to dealerships for repairs for some things because they charge almost just as much and put on after market and faulty parts. So as of today Engine light is till on for the same code.
