Went to this location after a horrible visit earlier in the day to the other Camarillo location (see review). I pulled up and was immediately greeted and asked to wait inside while they check me in. A couple minutes later I am informed of the cost of service and it is in line with what I paid last oil change. The employees were nice and accommodating and took care of the job pretty quickly and gave me a coupon for next time. This is what I have come to expect from Jiffy Lube. Looks like this location will get my business going forward. It is far cleaner (see pick) and the customer service is superior than the other Camarillo location. read more

My mom and I were steady clients of Bryan's. Even after getting the brakes installed by Jiffy Lube, and Bryan taking care of my brake pads that are constantly squealing. I am reading this is very common for Nissans. We"very been very happy with the direction he was directing the store. However the last batch of people he hired or corporate hired for him, they were awful. They were dismissive and about as warm as a hockey rink. They treated everyone with a monotone tunes. It's sad seeing companies settle and worse does not reward the right people but punish them because they understood customer service. Miguel was absolutely awesome! He went above and beyond and even helped me take my car seat base out of my car and then reinstalled it. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have gone to this Jiffy Lube for every oil change I've ever had on my cars the past 10 years. I even drive from Thousand Oaks now to come to this location because I previously always felt they were honest and did quick work. This last time was not the same. I go in for my oil change and the technician comes in and tells me that my rear brakes were so worn down that I would be metal on metal in a matter of a week and made it seem like if I didn't have them do the service there that day it would be very bad. I thought it was off because I hadn't been hearing my brakes squeal at all before this. So I decided to not do it and take my care to a brake shop for an inspection. Of course just as I thought my brakes were fine worn and needing a replacement in maybe 6,000 miles but not anywhere near needing replacing and certainly not even close to the indicator much less metal on metal. On top of that the last 4 times I've come for an oil change they claim on the paperwork that they topped off my wiper fluids and when I check it's untouched and not been filled since I did it last. Completely dishonest and lazy. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth I will NEVER return to jiffy lube again. read more

Out of oil -- are you shitting me?! I stopped by at 11:00 a.m. today (5/1/25) and that's what I was told. I wanted an oil change using conventional oil; however, the shop didn't have any 10/30 oil. Apparently, the pump was broken and it won't be fixed until next week. The technician would gladly up sell me synthetic oil at an additional cost. No thanks! Note to service mgr: Send one of your employees to Walmart and buy several cases of 10/30 so you don't turn people away. What would happen to the GM of Starbucks if they ran out of coffee? read more

It was not a Jiffy. When I showed up there was nobody in front of me which I thought was great. I was in the building for almost an hour waiting for my car to have its oil changed. I'll never be back, way too long. The guys were just slow and uninterested. I'll be taking my business to Valvoline across the freeway. Customers beware! Pulled in at 9:30a and there were two people already having their car worked on. I was asked rudely what I needed. Said I needed an oil change. Was told to wait inside. Waited inside and after about 5 minutes person said I needed to check in my car outside, so I went outside to my car again and was ignored. They asked the customer behind me to pull into the next spot, skipping me. When I asked what was up they said I needed to go inside. At this point I just left, since I was being treated rudely and had been skipped in line. Went down the street to Valvoline and had a much better experiences. Never again! read more

Terrible customer service and unethical practices. The technician lied trying to upsell me the entire visit. There was no one in line, but they still took their sweet time for me to be seen. Once I was seen, the technician lied and said my truck only took full synthetic oil after I asked for my standard conventional. They said I would be responsible for all damage done to my engine and that I was wrong about what oil my truck took. Told them I've been going to Jiffy Lube for almost 5 years (not at this location), and that all the other locations recommended the conventional oil. I even pulled up Ford's recommendation from their website on my phone which showed I was correct. The technician then proceeded to tinker under my hood even though I had yet to sign off on any work to be done. I told him to stop immediately and left the business. read more

Excellent...as usual. The location at 55 Daily Drive in Camarillo has been my go to oil change location since they opened the location. My last oil change this May was consistent with the excellent service I have experienced over the years. This time the oil filter was over tightened by a location in Denver CO and the tech did not want to force it and break anything so asked if I could return the next day when the manager was available to evaluate. Returned the next day and with a little extra force they removed the filter and changed it without any issues. Thanks for your follow through and excellent polite employees!! I drove in and Jeremiah got me in right away. Extremely covid aware! You only get out of your car to pay. What really stood out for me was their two part check list. Jeremiah and Wilbur did a verbal call out to each other while checking each item like "caps tight " etc when they have finished the service. If I could leave a negative star I would. I have been coming to this location for the last 5-6 years and every time I go to get my oil changed there is always an issue (being late mostly). Today was no different. I went to get my oil changed this morning and the technicians did not even acknowledge me. They were too concerned with their supply shipment than address me that they would be with me shortly. Then when I ask where to go to they just say go inside where I proceeded to wait 15 min before they checked in my car. Mind you 3 other customers were behind me with the same issue of being ignored and disregarded. The service was just disorganized overall and then to top it off---They got my interior dirty with oil spots everywhere! I spent 10 min alone scrubbing my car. The technician even hopped over my console rather than go out and around to the other side which contributed to the dirty spots. I'm not even going to return after this cuz it's not worth the hassle anymore. read more

Alright people. I have been going to jiffy lube ever since I could drive. But recently something happened that has made me question the establishment as a whole. I got an oil change February 2024 and one before that April of 23. I decided to change my oil myself this time because I had the time and figured I'd save a few bucks. When I got my filter off, I had realized that the date on the filter was from April of 2023. This means that when I went February of 2024 they didn't change my filter... did they even change my oil? Who really knows. But this is horrible for the engine of my truck and could lead to issues. Maybe they were lazy? Or were hoping more issue would arise and I'd have to come back? Either way it's shady as hell. I paid for an oil change and waited an hour for maybe nothing. I will not be going back to jiffy lube again. However, they did compensate me with a free oil change, I'll now be checking every time to see if they actually changed the filter. Be careful over there guys they don't do honest work. read more

I have been to Jiffy lube 3 times in the last 2 years. This last visit was the worst. Very limited conversation with servicemen, was not aware of what they were doing or not doing to my car. Oil change...$120.00, I choked, they gave me a $20.00 discount. They charged extra for amount of oil over a certain quantity. I got in to the car to leave, windows not washed, floor boards not vacuumed, tire pressures low and unchanged? I even had to put my own sticker in the wIndow. I promise to never go back. 2 days later my car notified me that my tire pressure was dangerously low!!! I went here when my regular place down the street was super busy. I will not go back. The while experience just seemed iffy. I sat in my car while they worked because I had my dog w me and no leash. So I could hear them talking and dealing w issues and it just made me feel like if the car was leaking oil when i left - it was because of them. They didn't seem smart or energetic. I have been coming to this Jiffy Lube for the last few years for my oil change, they're friendly, quick, and with coupons this place DOES have good deals. Staff: Super friendly. Whoever is the morning manager or morning lead is a nice young man. I've been seeing him there for the last year, sorry that I can't remember his name! Anyways he's always friendly, clear on what I need, and most importantly he isn't pushy at all. Yes he will recommend some things that I'm not always 100% sure I need right that second (but I'm no car expert, that's for sure) but as soon as I say "no thank you" or "not today" he moves on and let's us finish our transaction. Side Note: For those writing reviews for feeling that they were being hassled or forced for something too expensive, all you have to do is say a simple "no". Haha (it's not that hard). My point is, everyone here is friendly & I've had NO issues whatsoever. Tip: coupons, you can get a great deal if you wait a little for the jiffy lube coupons that come in the mail or print some out front online. Saves you close to $20 sometimes. For the work and quickness of service here I'd gladly give them my business again and again. I'll continue to come back also for the little things, that open up right on the dot at 8am, never a second later (which I appreciate since I get there early to be the first one) and the interior of the shop is always clean for when you do have to wait a little. read more
