The employees immediately blamed the dealership that had done my previous oil change, claiming the oil filter housing had been overtightened or misaligned. At first, I believed them because I assumed they knew what they were doing. They even wanted to tow my car to Firestone, but I had it towed to the dealership instead. After inspecting my vehicle, the dealership found that the oil filter housing had been damaged. It was clear the Take 5 technicians had used the wrong removal method, and I have photos showing it. All I asked was to be reimbursed for the damaged part. Instead of taking responsibility, they changed their story and claimed it was already damaged before I arrived, yet they have never provided any proof to support that claim. A simple oil change turned into a tow, repair costs, and a lot of unnecessary stress. Do yourself a favor and do not ever go here. If a company can't perform a basic oil change or take responsibility when something goes wrong, they don't deserve your business

As we crossed the VA-TN border at 1 PM on route 81S, we had a blow-out and had to pull over to the side of the road. AAA was useless as there were accidents all over the city and cars & semi-trucks were off the interstate. I called Tire Choice in Bristol (6 miles from us), gave them our tire size, and made an appointment with them for 5:30 - the last appointment of the day. We hoped we would be on the road before they close at 6 PM. Luckily, after about a 2 hour wait in the cold with trucks inches away from us, the TN Highway patrol changed our tire to the "mickey mouse" spare right there in the storm. Kudos to them - they were simply awesome. We got to Tire choice by 3:30. When I went to the door, it was locked; they had all gone home. The door indicated that they were open until 6. AND WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT. So thanks for the call, and thanks for leaving us in the lurch, guys - way to go! I called Discount Tire, another 6 miles away, and they got us in-and-out in 20 minutes. So my rating of Tire Choice? What do you think? They're Skunks!
