When I arrived, the owner (forgot his name) looked over the tires on the vehicle and said "You only need one tire. If you really want to buy a set, we'll put them on, but you only need one." Most people these days would have happily sold me 4 new tires. Those tires, including the used tire purchased, are still fine 8 months later. If they can do the work, I'm always happy. If it's something they don't normally tackle, they'll tell me. Going elsewhere is like auto-repair roulette. Dealers? Forget that... they are essentially crime syndicates. When you find mechanics you can trust, support them. Be patient. Drop your car off in the morning, enjoy the day, and you'll be back in business that afternoon.
