Jiffy Lube failed to tighten the drain plug on my motor after a lube job resulting in my motor seizure extreme damage to my motor. They promised to contact me with their insurance. 5 days later no attemp to contact me. They asked me to be patient. They should provide a car rental while waiting. They haven't done that. Do not take your car to Jiffy Lube. On the internet there are mutual case where they have been sued. read more

I came in for an oil change. I was nervous about driving over the hole in the floor but the guys were amazingly patient with me. Hector, Brandon, Jonathan, Nelson, and Cordero all helped me out. They did the oil change and suggested a tire rotation. They were extremely friendly and professional. I went for an oil change and sat there 30 minutes was never greeted while other cars that pulled up after me were all greeted. One employee even took time to chat with a friend who pulled up. I drove away because of the poor customer service. read more

When they changed my oil I was told that I would have to my transmission flushed and tire rotation. The service would total $300. I told them I would have to wait for my next pay check and left. Finally, I received my paycheck and took an entire day off to bring my car back to this location. We saw a different mechanic and he couldn't find the parts he needed so he suggested we take the car over to the dealer for the service. Begrudgingly, I did. I was scared because dealerships always tend to be expensive. Little did I know...THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. I brought in all the paperwork from Jiffy Lube, I explained the service that was recommended and the mechanics at the dealership were completely lost. I have gone to this location a couple of times for a oil change and service is always great. I went in on Wednesday to get an oil change and as always everyone was great and quick. My only issue was while I was driving home the next day from work I kept hearing a weird noise. I got out of my car and looked under the engine to see the bottom plastic cover dragging on the floor. I understood it was busy but I feel like the couple extra seconds to check could have prevented something like this. First I entered and waited like five minutes. Then one of the managers came up to my window and explain what their offering. So I move up to my position we're they were going to change my oil and literally the manager came like his whole head inside my window talking the prize and stuff. I'm like does he doesn't know that Covid EXIST!!!!!!!! Unbelievable. Then they offer me a discount on my filter and when I look at the receipt no discount I guess it's true what they say all this companies just want to sell sell sell anything to make you pay more. At least one employee here is a thief. He ordered $60 worth of food from a small business and then left and didn't pay. Business owner contacted them more than once and the manager admitted to eating the food but had no idea who stole it. Mighty shady. Imagine what they do to your car. read more

Was hoping I'd like this place but don't think I'd be back. Went in to get a full synthetic oil change and spent a lot of money (which was expected.) I was told that with the money I spent they'd also vacuum my car, top off all my tires to the same pressure, and clean my windows... but of course none of that was done. All these short cuts make me question if they even changed my oil filter.. very upset and disappointed because it's so close to home and I was hoping I can come here any time I needed any kind of other maintenance done. read more

I came in for an AC check on my car because I wasn't receiving cold air. Mind you, it's 90°+ weather right now. One of the guys did the inspection and said everything was fine and only needed a recharge. First time they recharged it the cold air went out again within an hour . I brought it back the next day and they checked it over and said it was a fluke and recharged it yet again. The very NEXT day the same. Obviously there is a leak but these guys couldn't find it. The third time I went the guy was confident he found a loose hose and tightened it. It ran fine for two hours and then the same. So here I am on my FOURTH visit in less than a week and asked for my money back to get to a REAL mechanic. The guy on duty said he needed to wait for the manager but it won't be until SATURDAY. Today is Wednesday. I am not waiting that long in 90°+ weather for a damn refund. This place is a joke. They don't Know they are doing. read more

The only place I bring my truck for regular maintenance (oil change, wipers, tire rotation, and fluids). I've been coming to this location only for about 5 years. Today, Malcom was a huge help. Top notch customer service! And they were quick and didn't try to pressure me into extra services. Once I mentioned issues with my engine light they quickly ran than the diagnostic test and now I don't have to pay the dealership $75!!! Very positive experience just now. Bought a car for my kids off the street and we have no idea how the seller serviced the car, although the car seems okay. My wife thinks the car is sounding funny, so she wants me to go get an oil change. It's a synthetic oil change so it's going to cost about $70 or so, even with a coupon. So I go to the Berwyn Jiffy Lube at Cermak and the manager comes out and I told him I just bought this car off the street and I have no idea if it needs an oil change or not, but I would like things topped off so that my daughters don't run short on brake fluid and such. The guys in there check the oil and say it's topped off and clean, so I say please make sure make sure everything is topped off because I'm getting the idiot light for brake fluid shortage. That's the one thing they can't touch because of liability issues. But they tell me where the brake fluid goes in and what kind of brake fluid I need and I picked it up right next door at an auto parts store. But they topped off everything else and got the tire pressure up to where it should be (the other idiot light I was getting). And did not charge me on my representation that I would take this car, along with my other two cars to them, faithfully. read more

I been trying to redeem a $10 coupon for a few weeks in this location but every time I tried they had a problem, if it wasn't the compressor not working it was the computers malfunctioning. I was finally able to go yesterday and I wish I never did, the people working didn't seem very interested in doing so, one guy was talking in his personal phone the whole time I was there, but the worse part was that they didn't even bother to change the out filter from my truck , they just changed the oil and charged me $60+ minus the coupon which they almost forgot to apply it to the total. I would never go back to that establishment even with a $10 discount. read more

This Jiffy Lube was completely at fault for the destroyed engine in my 2008 Mazda 6 iSport. To start with, I am very knowledgeable about cars and have done most of my own oil changes on this car. I have always babied this vehicle and taken beyond good care of it, changed the oil on time with quality and correct oil and good quality K&N filters. Simply stated, I can prove to any human being with common sense that the visit I had to this Jiffy Lube directly caused the seizure of my engine. They up-sold my on a radiator flush and did not perform the oil change completely. When my car started making a ticking sound after a few weeks of my visit to this Jiffy Lube I took it to a different Jiffy Lube who said the car was 3 quarts low on oil and that it wasn't leaking nor was is burning. Then they asked who did your last oil change? Even Jiffy Lube pointed the finger at this shop! My Mazda dealer had a look at the engine and agreed that a rod bearing was shot due to low oil in the engine and was bound to seize. They said I needed a new engine! I took Jiffy Lube to court and found out about their forced arbitration, which completely stacks the deck in their favor. They decided I "lost", big surprise! So this company totally gets off the hook and I'm out $8000 on a car that I just finally paid off and treated like gold. I am going to do everything I can to make sure this location gets shut down and loses business unless they pay me back for my car. DO NOT GO HERE! I am not stupid or crazy or being petty or making unfounded accusations. I have a good job, I'm a pretty smart guy and like I said, I could easily explain this situation to anyone with common sense. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR CAR!! I usually go to my dealer to get an oil change but they had no appt available till two weeks from now and I needed and oil change ASAP. As soon as I drove into Jiffy Lube I knew it wasn't going to go well. A young kid was looking at his phone and had headphone on while he was trying to guide me in. That same kid went to drain my oil and change the oil filter and I heard one of the other guys there say that he the kid with the phone couldn't drain my cars oil cause he was turning the plug the wrong way. He couldn't figure it out so he asked for help. No common sense. Then, when they where pouring my new oil, they spilled it all over my engine... yeah they tried cleaning it but it's all over the place now... seems like they hire young kids with no common sense, no experience and no care for quality in their work. I will never ever go there and I'll be sure to pass the word around. That was a waste of $53 since Im going to change my oil myself right away because I do not trust on the work they did. read more

Customer service skills are extremely lacking for the management. Went in on a Saturday and no cars were waiting to be serviced. Told an "Uber" inspection would take about 20 minutes. Then all of a sudden nope, can't do it. Went to manager Jorge and was told he was short staffed and he won't let his guys do the inspection. When asked when is other techs would be in he yelled back" I don't know! I set the schedule but I can make people show up!" All I wanted to know was when I could bring my car back but after being treated so rudely why would I ever come back for any type of service?! When questioned about a corporate number to complain or a district managers name I got a "we don't have one, complain all you want!" I come here since Jan 2012.. They are so nice, professional and honest with what you need. They'll never try to sell you something you don't need or push sales. I have bought a battery from here two years ago and it needs to be replaced.. Very convenient that I have a five year warranty on it. It will be replaced this Thursday as soon as they get it. Also they always have an online coupon you can look up or because they know me so well they automatically just give you the $8 off !!! So nice !!! read more

Most people don't know but some of those things that they sell, you can get at any auto parts store for a fraction of the price. Educate yourselves people. This is the worst Jiffy Lube I've ever been to, and it's getting worse. I had been coming here for the past year, since I live just blocks away. It's always been run down-looking and had bad service. Today was the slowest yet - there was barely a line, but it still took an hour just to change my oil and replace two small lights that were out. There weren't even any complications; many of the employees just don't seem very skilled, they don't move very fast, and there weren't enough people working to do more than one thing at a time. Next time I'll drive a mile or so and try a different Jiffy Lube. read more

This place is terrible. The second I drove up in my car, I wasn't even greeted, I had a staff member say "you know your car takes synthetic oil right?" Of course I know that, I've had my car for seven years, you couldn't even say hello? I go into the waiting room and all the other people in the waiting room were complaining about how the staff kept trying to up-sell them options they really didn't need. They came in about twenty minutes later and told me they couldn't change the oil in my car because it, quite dramatically, had a very large oil leak. That made me panic a bit, I work for myself so it's hard for me to have time off to perform car maintenance. I cancelled all my work for the following day to get my car into the mechanic immediately. The mechanic calls me, laughing, and says there is no oil leak and the technicians were probably just afraid to deal with my car (a mini cooper.) I. WAS. LIVID. What a waste of time.
