I went to this Jiffy because the one I go to is quite busy that day. When I go to jifilloop, I buy synthetic oil. That's good for 5 thousand miles. When I got my oil change, they put a new sticker every time want to change your oil again.At what mileage. When I got at home, I know this, I had to change my oil at three thousand mil. Updating my review: I went back yesterday for an oil change, and my guy Joe was there again. He's great at what he does, we did the same thing as last time, and I was there no more than 10 minutes. I already knew how the process works since he explained it last time. They also do other things free of charge which I appreciate. He noticed my air filters were dirty, he showed me, and he asked if I want them changed which I appreciate. He also gave me two coupons for this service. This location does live up to the Jiffy name. He gave me the option to sit in my car or I could wait in the lobby. I decided to wait in my car. My Oil Change was completed in a timely manner. He asked if I had any question. I brought a fleet vehicle in and just requested an oil change. I watched them do it. They gave me a bogus receipt with faded ink showing a total of $128.00. They said they gave me a tire rotation, and that didn't. I called in the fleet company to tell them they never rotated my tires and ask for a refund on the charge. The refused the refund and asked me to come back to do the tire rotation. I will never go back there, very unprofessional there, and liars. read more

Received a $20 off coupon in the mail for a full synthetic oil change at this 9756 s. Cicero Oak Lawn location. I figured I always go to Jiffy Lube and get full synthetic anyways, so why not try out this different location. I was very surprised at the price of $131.36 for my pickup truck before coupons and taxes. I paid for the oil change and drove to the Jiffy Lube at 10345 s Kedzie and asked for the price for the exact same service. Their price was $99.99 before coupons and taxes. Wow! It is very misleading to send mailings with $20 coupons when your regular price is over $30 more than other locations. Very dishonest business practice. Feel like I was duped! I went for an oil change. Jiffy Lube Master Mechanic upsold me on spark plugs. When replaced, my car started to sputter leaving the lot, and now had multiple dash warnings. I quickly turned back to Jiffy Lube. Mechanic, QA, and supervisor all inspected the car after the mechanic replaced spark plugs again, and told me the sputtering was not from the spark plugs but to come another day if I wanted the car to be repaired for this new issue. Instead I took the barely drivable car to the car dealer. The sputtering and multiple dash board reading was from the wrong Spark Plugs, and car dealer rep also said their was no need to change spark plugs so soon. (Under 100k miles) . When I returned to Jiffy Lube the next day to complained to the manager to request a full refund for the cost incurred to me, he told me to handle it with Corporate. The Jiffy Lube Manager also boldly said "I'm too busy for this, and DON'T come back here". Seriously that's the best advice. A month later corporate responses by saying that I didn't bring the car to Jiffy Lube after the car dealer diagnose the problem. (Three chances???). There is no trust with Jiffy Lube service work Why would a battered woman return to get another beat down? It's a no win situation with Jiffy Lube. Poor customer service, aggressive upselling, incompetent mechanic QA and supervisor. Lastly disconnect with Corporate and their franchised Fiffy Lube shop. Jiffy Lube didn't make it right. Extremely unsatisfactory for both that location and Corporate. Don't take a chance on Jiffy Lube. Grade F for failure. read more

a day ago I'm not one to complain but I went in for the oil change and was out in less then 5 minutes. Things on the check list were not done, clearly because floors were not vacuumed but say completed, windows were not washed in or out and this makes me question if they even checked anything else on the list. I paid $45 for an oil change and I expect that everything would be done. I will be contacting a manager tomorrow and bringing the car back for an inspection. I took my car for an oil change the guy did close oil cap correctly badger 4 days of driving, my car began smoking and left me straining the middle of nowhere lte at night , came back the next day to see what had happen , opened up the hood and found oil cap off they sent a video of the person that put oil cap back on you can see clearly the turned opposite way half of turn when I turn on my car is smoking a lot looks like the motor fried . now they have the car supposedly a third party come to inspect I found out they are their own inspectors until today still don't have an answer also their only manager gets days off during the week . read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We brought my son's vehicle in for an oil change and AC recharge on Monday, 06/05/23 as we are handling routine maintenance while he is in the military overseas. We were told they could not do the AC recharge that day because the mechanic is off on Mondays. We were going to leave, but they wanted us to still get the oil change, as they had no other customers at that time, so we decided to just get it out of the way. First, we were told that they only had the higher-priced oil and that we should replace the oil filter. Then, he told us there was a manufacturer's recommendation to replace the spark plugs and that we should get it done when we come back for the AC recharge. I had gone to this Jiffy Lube in the past for my own vehicle, so I thought they were trustworthy, however, this was not the same staff I had dealt with before. We went back on Thursday, 06/08/23 for the AC recharge and I told the tech what we had been told when we were there on Monday about having the spark plugs checked. We were told the AC recharge would need time and that we could leave and the mechanic would call us. We got the call and were quoted $351.77 to complete both the AC recharge and spark plug replacement. When we returned to pick up the vehicle, we were informed that only the spark plug replacement had been done because they did not have the correct stuff to do the AC recharge for this type of vehicle. We were charged $196.78. I went to drive the vehicle home but as soon as I drove across the street it immediately started sputtering and 9 different error messages came up on the screen. We returned immediately to see the mechanic. He said he just needed to do a reset which would only take a few minutes. Over 2 hours later we were still pacing in the parking lot watching them drive the car, come back and sit in the car or stare at a screen, repeat, repeat... Finally, the mechanic came out to us and said it was still misfiring and that he would not be able to repair it that day. He said he could do the needed repairs but it would require him to take things apart which would be several hours of work. I was completely distraught, as this was just supposed to be routine maintenance! I told him we had only planned on getting the AC recharged which he wasn't even able to do. We would have never done the spark plugs if he hadn't told us that was needed. I asked to talk to his manager, and the mechanic said he was the manager and told the man with me (in a very condescending tone towards me) that he didn't know who else I thought was supposed to help me. He also claimed he didn't know anything about us requesting an AC recharge. I was baffled as he had already told us that he was the one who called to give us the quote earlier and I had been given a hard copy of an estimate listing both items when we paid. I went inside and told another tech I wanted the manager, and amazingly another man named Joe came out of the door. Joe tried telling me that he had just been made aware of our situation which was interesting because we had been there for over 2 hours at this point and I know I saw him by the car during that time. He did give us a refund, however, the car was still malfunctioning. I asked him what I was supposed to do now. He said to go get it checked out and bring him the invoice for anything directly related to the spark plugs. When I got home and reviewed the paperwork, I discovered that the "Estimate" I had been given was for a 2008 GMC Yukon and NOT a 2019 Honda Accord. It wasn't even from that day! I called the nearest Honda dealer immediately and we took it in the following morning. The car would not accelerate over 15 mi/hr so I had to drive it with the hazards on to the service center. We were told that Jiffy Lube should have never told us there was a manufacturer's recommendation regarding the spark plugs because this car shouldn't need a replacement until 100,000 miles and the car hasn't even reached 40,000 miles yet. It ended up costing us over $500 to get the correct spark plugs put back in and the related issues resolved. The tech's note said that they found the wrong spark plugs had been put in causing the misfire. On Monday, 06/12/23 we went to show Joe what we had been told and what we had been charged. He said he would call after reviewing. Days passed, no call from Joe, so back again on Thursday, 06/15/23. Joe said he sent the info to "Corporate" and they were investigating. When told we'd come back to follow up, he actually told us NOT to come back again, as he was much too busy to deal with this and that it was now a Corporate issue. After that response, I filed my own complaint with Jiffy Lube on 06/15/23 and received a reply that day with a Case# that said my complaint had been forwarded to TEAM CAR CARE WEST, LLC, the franchisee entity which operates the Jiffy Lube Service Center 447. It's 06/21/23 and no response yet! Unbelievable! read more

If I could I leave no stars!!...PPL STOP GOING TO JIFFY LUBE. For the price might as well go to the dealers! They forgot to put oil in our vehicle!!! After getting an oil change we drove to visit family and on the return home our engine started to seize and thankfully we made it off the expressway. Had to pay for a tow from Indiana to oak lawn, has been 2-1/2 months and we have not heard back from them if they are going to repair our vehicle! We get emails back with very limited information they have promised to do the right thing but seems the owner of this location is just stalling! The 800 # gets us nowhere. They have this system set up where you do not get to speak to anyone but answering machines. They have though sent investigators to snap photos according to our mechanic to see if the vehicle leaks any oil while it's been sitting out in their lot. Possibly to see if it's not their fault. Our vehicle takes 6 quarts of oil, upon arriving to the shop my mechanic made sure to check the dip stick and he concluded there was not a drop of oil in there. Could it be possible they just put in 1-2 quarts and it burned up while on our way to see family. Needless to say they are responsible for our engine failure! Please do not go to jiffy lube anymore people. read more

I called the Oak Lawn location and the 2 gentleman I spoke to were very rude. The first one, Joe answered the phone in an unpleasant tone. I asked questions and he answered me with a nasty response. I asked him if he could look up how much I paid before and he put someone else on the phone without even telling me . Now I have worked in customer service and I know it should have been a warm transfer , not just pass me off to someone else. I didn't get the second guy's name but he was friendly at first . Went in for a quick oil change on my birthday and a few days later it started smoking white fumes that smelled like burnt oil. Coincidence I don't think so. After speaking with District manager Delonda, she had informed me that Jiffy Lube was towing my car back to the location and then in the morning they were supposed to take my car to the mechanics for a diagnostic. My car sat in their parking lot after 3 weeks. Jiffy Lube claimed someone came to see my car last yesterday when It's been at their shop since September and then they have the balls to tell me that they are not liable. They refused to show me the full video of who was working on my car. When i showed up yesterday asking for a copy of my receipt and records of me being a loyal customer they pretty much handed me my keys and told me to go kill yourself. They expected me to drive the car knowing that it was still smoking. I have pictures and videos of my car and the oil cap to my car was not properly secured. It was completely off. The Jiffy Lube on 97th and cicero called the police because they refused to service me. A full paying customer at that. I am a very young woman who has been take advantage of and my lawyers will deal with my case from now on. Save your money and go to your local mechanic because this Jiffy Lube does not care about their customers because not one person has called me or sent an email regarding my case. I work 3 jobs from 6am-5pm then again 530-11pm. They have untrained kids working on different types of cars and there is a new face and new set of people training. When i was about to pull off some girl put her crew in danger because their manager Joe didn't give all clear. I could have ran someone heads off. They didn't even give me a sticker that they are supposed to for when to come in for the next oil change. I was in the waiting room for about 1/2 an hour. After submitting my claims and 2 weeks of no form of communication towards me Jiffy Lube is not responsible for what they did to my car.
