Perfect Pitch knocks it out of the park. They are an extremely busy shop, always a good sign in my book. Even so, their people are so friendly, so knowledgeable and just so, well, nice. My initial dealings with Stacy set the tone. She was very helpful, arranged a tow and helped me sort out the issues with towing out of a low-clearance underground garage. I gave her a list of the known issues and asked them to check a few other items I thought might need attention. After Mike checked everything out, he called to explain why those extra items weren't really necessary. Wow, how often does that happen? These guys are not only straight shooters, they totally know what they're doing. Yes, they are busy, and yes, you might have to wait your turn for a bit before they can get to you. But once they do, they work fast, they do it right and they charge a fair price. And they do it nice! What else is there? These guys are the real deal. 4th time I have been here and every time these guys are honest which is not the norm of the industry. I stopped in with a heat sheild that was lose and rattling. They had me come back an hour later and they took it in. 20 mins later, the car is done and 3 heat shields were attached with 15 screws. $20.... highly reccomended! read more

I wanted to support a local auto repair so on a recommendation from a friend I gave them my business. Owning an 11 year old vehicle I knew that I would be putting money into it for various failures and I expected to get a fair price for Perfect Pitch. Their reception service is very unorganized and unimpressive. They are not automated at all. All their bills are old school hand written. On this occasion I called in advance so I would be the first car on the list and my vehicle would be taken care of early so I would have it for work that day. They left me hanging all day with out a phone call with a progress report. I called at noon and no one answered. I called again at 2 and the person who answered talked to the mechanic and they assured me the car would be ready at the end of business. It was, but it was 6:30 when I got the call, while sitting down to dinner with the family. I was told I had 10 mins to get there to get the vehicle. Not possible! The mechanic told me the needed part was $250. I did an Internet search, after I gave permission to complete the job and the same part was $54 for after market to $150 for OEM. I was on the hook and needed the car fixed so he got me for $450. This job was an easy fix that should not take longer than 1.5 hours. I was gouged on parts and labor...... I will never return to this place and you shou;d consider going elsewhere as well! read more

I took our 16 year-old Saab to PP. There was a strong smell of gas in the car. Needless to say, I didn't want to dump a lot of money in an older car. They found the small issue that was causing it and charged me $80 total for the fix. I was expecting a whopper of a bill. I'll bring both my cars to PP from now on. read more

Should have wrote this long before. Great place. After getting an oil change elsewhere a problem developed. These guys took the engine apart, found a broken piece of the oil filter in the cylinder, photographed it, put it back together. I received the full cost of the repairs from the oil change shop. I have brought 3 cars to Perfect Pitch and feel like I received pretty good service and pricing. Jim suggested I get a belt replaced and gave me a quote, but I was tight on cash. I moved out of the area and eventually really needed that belt replaced. I paid way more for another place to do it, and took several days to get my car back. Blah! I have taken several of my vehicles here for service over the last 7 years after a friend recommended them to me. I have dealt with several different employees here and all have been friendly, professional and honest. The shop is kind of a dump, to be honest, but it is a mechanic shop so I wouldn't really expect much more! What keeps me coming back here is the location, excellent service, reasonable prices and their honesty. On several occasions I have been told by the Honda dealership that I had repairs that were absolutely necessary that would cost over $500. I took my vehicle to Perfect Pitch before making these repairs and they told me not everything I was told was accurate and they could do the needed repairs for less than half that price. They have noticed problems in the past that most mechanics would insist was necessary to repair immediately, but have been honest with me and usually told me I could let it go for awhile before it would be a problem if it was minor. I live very close so usually drop my car off for an oil change instead of waiting for it and they always call me as soon as it is completed to pick up. Most recently (10/20/11) I wanted to purchase a used vehicle through a seller on Craigslist and Mike(I THINK he may be the owner) did an inspection of the vehicle for me prior to purchase to make sure everything was fine. He did this for free since I have been a longtime customer and as if I didn't love this place enough, that guaranteed my loyalty. read more
