I was hesitant to go to Ford directly, and saw the good reviews for Paton's, so I called them first. I was prepared to pay around $7000 (money I certainly did not want to spend, but assumed I would have to) to get the transmission replaced. I believe Rick answered the phone, but whomever it was basically said to me "Look, I have heard your story before - as much as I want your business, take the car to the Ford Dealer. THIS is how you build trust, by being honest and instead of just taking the money I assumed I would have to spend, by pointing me in the right direction. THANK YOU to the Paton team and I look forward to bringing my car there in the future :)
