Rolling his eyes, huffing and puffing, and was actually so rude to the customers behind me that they left. Total ripoff. Sketchy crew and dishonest quote for $147.97 for oil change and unbranded air filter($49.99!), Didn't check tire pressure and charged to check coolant and falsely claimed it was low. Total ripoff and the facility had about 5 extra characters hanging around and reeked of pot. I am over 80 and this was an uncomfortable experience. I plan on disputing the charges. I pulled in to ask about an oil change since our usual mechanic wasn't available. I was immediately met with assistance. I never got out of my truck because I had some work I could do while i was waiting. My truck was serviced and I was on my way in less than 15 mins. Such a bizarre experience. Every employee that works here is so rude. I took my truck to get an oil change. I pulled around the back so I could park to check on wait time as I had my two little ones with me. The man was incredibly condescending as he said, "this is exit only there's a sign right there that says exit only". Mind you there was only one car in the bay. So it's not like it was crazy busy. I pulled around to the front, the elderly man comes up with an iPad and starts repeating "stay in your vehicle, stay in your vehicle" over and over again like I was deaf or incapable of following instructions. Then he tells me "you know the cost for synthetic oil change is going to be $150" but said it in a way that implied I wouldn't be able to afford it. So weird! I drive a $40k truck...but I can't afford a $150 oil change. Right. Which by the way is a complete rip off. I took it to Take 5 down the road and the cost was $109 but they let you use a $7 off coupon. I was so bothered by their complete lack of customer service that I said never mind and left. No wonder this place is always dead without any customers. Old codgers working there treating customers like garbage and insanely high prices. I'm sure they'll be out of business soon. read more

I showed up to get an oil change and the mechanic did not ask what grade oil I wanted or explain pricing prior to service and gave me the most expensive oil they have. I hadn't been to this location in two years bc a previous employee was absolutely horrible, dropped F bombs and made me feel like I had ruined his day just by showing up. Many of my neighbors have been there and had same expert. They won't go back. I tried this Jiffy Lube again last week, only out of necessity. The crew was over the top wonderful. They were super sweet to my dog. You guys need to win back your local business. I posted on Sisters of the Sea about my awesome experience under the new crew. Came in right before 6pm closing time and Louie and Majd still saw me and serviced my car! They helped me with my air and cabin filters and did an oil change for me! Customer service was great and I couldn't even tell it was the end of their work day how they just assisted me with no worries! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! I brought my new Mazda 3 i sport to this jiffy lube to do a regular oil change, next thing I know I'm driving home from work and my oil plug falls out from the bottom of my car and completely seized my engine immediately. After many talks with the district manager, he accused me of lying to him and said that I was out of luck unless I had money for a lawyer. (bullying me). I paid for several tow trucks and a full evaluation of my car from the Mazda dealership and the mechanic said " Engine seize and failure due to lack of lubrication" however when I discussed this with the district manager he had claimed the dealership said " it's not jiffy lubes fault" which the dealership told me was a absolute lie and that they could never put the blame on anyone only asses the situation. Anyone reading that knows lack of lubrication means no oil, especially a "oil mechanic" who has claimed to work with jiffy lube for 35 years. This is a huge injustice that has been done to me, I cannot begin to describe how difficult this has made my ongoing every day life. If I can urge anyone reading this to do one thing it would be never to trust or use this place or any jiffy lube. You will only have problems and the loss of a car. Don't expect to hear anything from corporate either they ignored me several times. read more

DO NOT GO TO THE JIFFY LUBE IN ATLANTIC BEACH, FL!!! I was the last customer on Saturday, September 26th. Got the oil change ( first one in new car) in anticipation of driving to Louisiana early the next day. They did not tighten the oil drain bolt and we lost the bolt, all of our oil and our car was smoking on I 10 in Mississippi. We had to get our car towed, couldn't find a repair shop open on a Sunday , tow truck driver took us out of the way to an auto parts store. My husband bought new oil and the bolt that we lost on the interstate. The tow truck guy jacked our car up so my husband could install the bolt, added oil and we tipped the driver for helping us. Because we were on the highway, when the oil dumped out of my car, it coated the undercarriage and kicked up and completely coated the back of my suburban with oil. I could not see out of my back window. We saved all of the receipts of everything we spent ( quite a bit for negligence of screwing on a $5 part) Lewis the manager is not giving us the regional manager's number to sort this out. He is not being helpful at all. We are reasonable people and understand human error, but oil changes are what Jiffy Lube does! They are messing with human lives when this sort of thing happens. Thank goodness my husband was with me. He almost stayed home and I was going to take my young teenage daughter. It is BAD BUSINESS on Jiffy Lube for not taking ownership of this unfortunate incident and REFUSING to reimburse us for the extra expenses that we incurred having the car towed and additional expenses to get the car fixed and back on the road. My battery completely stopped working yesterday and I was lucky enough to have someone jump me. I was right down the road from jiffy lube and knew that I needed a new battery. I stopped here and they were so genuinely nice. The guys had my battery in and out and ready to go in under 15 (this included the time it took to order it from auto zone across the street). I rarely write reviews. Had a very negative experience here, though, and felt I could help steer some people away. I went in for a routine oil change, and came out with an engine that sputtered and shook. No problems whatsoever before I came in. When I brought I back, they were unable to fix whatever error they had made in the first visit. When I asked for the manager's contact info, I was given the wrong name and email address. I could forgive that as an oversight, but they wrote it twice, and both times left out the same letter in the managers name and email. They also tried to give me a reduced discount from the uniform service members discount that Jiffy Lube national provides at all its locations. I've been to great jiffy lubes before, it just seems like I picked a rotten apple this time. Stay away. read more

I went in for a simple oil change, and from start to finish, it took about 2 1/2 hours. The staff seemed flustered and completely unorganized. The manager on staff even had a women meet him in the bay to, "bring him his money". I very understand that this covid thing has thrown a wrench into their whole operation, but my God.. never going back. I took my car in to get the oil changed this past weekend. My car is a manual and the manager informed me that he somewhat knew how to drive a manual, but wasn't very good at it. Once my oil change was completed, I got back in my car and noticed all my tires were low. I inquired about this and the manager informed me that they had taken air out because they were "overfilled". I drove home and checked the air myself, the tires were now extremely underinflated, and had been fine to begin with. I took the car back in to have them add air back in. They didn't end up adding any air and they had been looking at the manufacter's recommendations on PSI (for manufacture's tires). The car is ten years old and the MF tires have not been on the car in years. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location for any services. read more
