Do NOT go to this Jiffy Lube. The manager was so unprofessional. They put the wrong oil in my car. 3 weeks later my engine seized up and it had to be replaced $7000. Pulled in at the wrong time about 3 pm so it was kinda busy. They told us it would be 45min. OK, I'll wait. It is 97 degrees out so I'll shut off my car and wait in the lobby. Then they tell me can't wait in the lobby because of covid????? No employee is wearing a mask! So they would rather have people wait in their cars running the air-conditioning for 45 minutes. Mask requirements have been lifted for a while, why not just be honest and say "we do not offer a lobby anymore" Then after the 45 minutes, they asked if I could back up and let another car go in front of me, " her husband is waiting for her" is what they said. OK, I have been here just as long. So after years of going there with multiple cars in the family, we will not be back. read more

The oil change was $53.00 and they told us the air filter needed to be replace and they told us it was $64.00 and he said it use to be $10.00 and he said the company changed it. Ive been a customer here on and off for 5 yrs. The prices go up very consistently with no extra value. After an $85 oil change today, i went across the street to auto zone and bought new air filters. I declined the air filter service at jiffy but asked if they would shake out the leafs before reinstalling. When i got home and pulled the old cabin filter out it was still full of leafs and dirt. Very poor customer service, very high prices...wont EVER go back. Its absolutely insane a service business reinstalled it like this. read more

I will never go back again. The manager Distin is so rude to customers and his employees. I went in for a simple oil change and the guys were taking care of my car. He talks down to the guys I actually felt bad and wanted to say something to him but he actually scared me. When my car was done he said it's done rang me and never said thank you or have a good day. I do not recommend. I've been here twice. The first time they reset all of my settings on my car and it was a pain to get it all set back up the way I liked it. Last time I was there they broke a lamp that was in my front seat trying to get the air filter out so they could sell me a new air filter. Car wash is affordable and works great. However, the attendants they hire for lining up each car into the car wash, do a sad job. They cram the cars way too close together. Always fearful that something will go wrong and either we will hit the car in front of us or the car behind us will crash into us. read more

I don't know, maybe I'm not discerning enough when it comes to these kinds of places, but I've never had a bad experience here. In fact, the staff is very friendly, and they work reasonably quickly given how busy they often are. When you arrive, they walk you inside and actually hold the door for you, rather than just pointing toward the waiting area, like most places do. Inside, you have about as nice of a waiting area as you can ask for. It's big and clean, which is rare in the oil change business. As for the service, I've always found it to be just fine. I've never had issues with any of the work that they have done, and as for those who complain about "upselling," find me an oil change place that doesn't suggest a thing or two when you take your car in. It's part of a multi point inspection, they are likely to find things that need attention. And I'd rather know than not have them say anything, and find bigger problems in my car down the road. If you can't handle having someone suggest things, learn to do this stuff yourself. read more

Dustin, Anton, and the rest of the crew here are decent and polite guys. I had to switch over my summer tires to winter and during the oil change they discovered a nail in one of the winter tires. A local tire place wouldn't patch the tire if the tire wasn't on the car so the crew here put my winters on and then I had the flat fixed. Dustin (the mgr) realized the hassle I was going through and extended some real courtesy to me. Even when they realized they had my directional winters tires on backwards, they reinstalled them without any irritation or hassle. They also let me mark the summer tires so I know the rotation pattern next Spring. All in all a very good experience. read more

I popped in for a standard oil change and left a happy customer. As soon as I walked through the door, I was promptly greeted with a warm, friendly smile and lead into the waiting area. The service was immediate, the staff attentive, informative and very welcoming. Staff seemed genuinely focused on providing excellent customer service from the minute you walk through the doors until the job is finished. Happily, my total wait time was no more than 10 minutes and once done, one of the workers ran ahead just to hold the door open for me as I got into my car. They even set up an email reminder so I know when to go in for my next oil change. Highly recommend and I will most definitely be a return customer! Nice job guys :) read more

Not my first time here but was told I needed two License plate bulbs at $16 a piece and that my antifreeze was empty in my reserve. I told them I would take care of that myself. I went and bought the bulbs and antifreeze and found that my bulbs were working and antifreeze was already at fill line. I can't believe they want to do work that wasn't required. Yelp should allow negative stars . I took my daughters car for an oil change one month ago . Since the oil change her car has been leaking oil all over the driveway and garage . The car didn't have any leaks prior to the oil change . I returned to tell them something was wrong with the filter and the " manager " assured me it wasn't the filter they installed . I took it upon myself to buy a replacement filter from auto zone and found that the filter they installed wasn't even the correct one . I returned to jiffy lube and After I explained to the manager that he installed the wrong one he argued with me . Insisting that I was wrong even though the cross reference numbers were stamped on the oil filter and didn't match my vehicle . Don't waste your time or money at JIFFY LUB. Most dealerships give competitive prices and you can have peace of mind that the job is being done correctly . Poor customer service as well . THEY JUST DON'T KNOW WHEN TO ADMIT THEY ARE WRONG! I guess adding to this joke might help someone else . I just got off the phone with the district manager and got as far with him as the employee . He also insisted that I was wrong about the oil filter they incorrectly installed on my vehicle . A 4 cylinder and a 6 cylinder engine are not the same . The oil filter is not the same part number and just because it " FITS " it doesn't make it right . Piss poor customer service and unwilling to admit that their supplier or in house information maybe the problem . What else can you do for me Jiffy Lube district manager , you can come scrub the oil off of my brick pavers to start . Then you and your employees can take a class on customer service . Great news, I pulled right in,3young men ready to help. Kyle, Justin and Jose. That's it for the great news. As it is a drive thru now, my door was opened and asked how they could help. I said I would like the regular oil change. I was quoted 43.99 on the phone. Proceeded to ask me questions and to turn signals on and brake lights. Ok so far good. Asked to shut engine off and give keys. They lifted hood and started to work. I was brought and shown the air filter which was dark. Would you like this replaced? I said yes please. Any topping off wanted? no thank you. Ok, I watch as my same dark filter was put back on my car and cover closed. I ask " I asked for a new filter, and saw the old be put back on?" The man walks to the others and one of them gets a new filter from a box. I watch it installed. Oil wasn't visible to me to make sure that was put in. So Im questioning if its even been done. Anyway bill was $86.95. I said what am I missing here that's too much? I also showed coupon, for $10. So my final bill $79.93. Get home look at bill 43.99,3.99 5.99 3.99 tax 2.98 also 10 labor charge. LOL ok just lost a customer. Not ever going back. I feel completely ripped off and attempted to have paid for a new filter while the old one was put back on. read more

Wow I will NEVER go back to this Jiffy Lube!!! Steven is not friendly at all and the customer service is not like the Jiffy Lube in McHenry. They couldn't find the leak yet there are puddles on my garage floor??? $95 for full synthetic which is way more than I've paid in the past. After he rang it up I remembered there are coupons so I searched and found one for $10 off and Steven was not happy that he had to come back and give me a credit. The McHenry Jiffy Lube would have helped me with a coupon immediately and been super nice about it. Last time I was here they broke something on my glovebox and it's never been the same.
