Did you know that this little gem of a bakery and cafe not only has fabulous breakfast and lunch meals but they also offer catering and hosting evening events after their regular hours? We chose this lovely venue for our wedding recently and everyone is still talking about it! Thank you so much Mayra and Jose we are so grateful.

This and next several pics. Excellent "diner" style menu offering.

Going to go off on this place a bit, so be prepped. We have been here several times and tried several different items (Cubano coffee, eggs, cappuccino, eggs Benedict, pancakes, hash browns, breakfast sausage, bakery items, etc) and this place is absolutely stellar. Excellent service, every time. Friendly staff, every time. Perfectly prepared food, same. Super clean. Comfortable. Plenty of parking. Candidly, I'm shocked that this restaurant doesn't have a line out of the door when we've been there. As warned, after my meal there this morning, it's squarely in my Top 5 list for the Tampa area. I hate to over hype a restaurant, but I'm that confident they'll deliver when you visit. Try it and tell a friend!

Pros: -kind customer service (very friendly) -pb chocolate mousse was good and flavorful -kids meals were decent sized (kids liked the spaghetti -salad was very fresh Cons: -very, very small place -flan consistency was not good (almost like it was overcooked or something) -tuna melt was tiny and was mediocre -very little dressing was given for the salad -were running out of items quickly (it was noon) i.e. biscuits, white bread

Was recommended to this place by family member But couldn't get seats due to it being busy. No problem and glad to see! Smaller place with limited seating with larger groups. But looks like a standard cafe. We ended up ordering lunch Togo and ate at our aunts house just down the street. Customer service was very sweet and nice. Talked us through the different option and desserts. I ended up ordering the Jgoody burger with a side salad and flan to top it off. The salad was fresh but came with a really small amount of ranch dressing so had to get more from the refrigerator. The Jgoody burger looked good and sounded great but over all this burger was kinda of a let down. The patty was bland and but cooked to my liking. To be honest I think it was missing it chimichirri sauce as the over all burger was bland nothing to bring it together. Now for the flan, it was a bust for me. Maybe it was over cooked or something but it also lacked flavor wasn't really creamy more gelatinous. I do want to give this place another try as I was told to go for breakfast and not lunch. Let see how next time goes!

My wife and I came here for Friday morning breakfast, it was GOOD! Our server was attentive and friendly, I think she is part of the family. The food was hot, a good amount and worth what we paid. I'll definitely be back.

Just destroyed a breakfast from here and the service was also amazing!!

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. They have a yummy club sandwich & shoestring fries! Today, I ordered the cinnamon topped French toast choosing the option of honey on the side. It was so delicious! Also, My husband enjoyed his omelette and biscuits & gravey.

Had the blue burger, it was very tasty and would order again. I got the coleslaw instead of fries and the slaw was very good too.

To call this French is an insult to France! I was born and…read moreraised in France, getting my bakery goods in the mornings from bakery down the street. The ambience was nice and so was service, but that's where the good things end. This was a disaster and shameful that it's called French. Serving croissants and eclairs and putting French names to menu items does not make something French. We ordered a turkey omelette with eggs on top, an eclair, a chocolate croissant, a croissant with ham and cheese and tomato and lettuce, and a cream filled beignet. Let's start with the bakery goods. All bakery goods should be made fresh that same morning. The croissants, and pastries all should be flaky and taste fresh. These were hard as if they were all yesterday's leftovers. The filling on the beignet was obviously a Jell-O pudding mix, and definitely not homemade. The eclair for some reason had some kind of supposed chantilly cream and raspberry instead of the traditional filling, and both of those fillings were also all store-bought. The eclair was also stale and tasted like it had been in the fridge since yesterday. The omelette was an absolute joke. If you look at the picture I posted, my index finger was actually taller than the entire omelette which is supposed to be filled with ham and cheese as you can see from the post photo. The ham and cheese were also packaged meat and cheese as you can tell since they all were sliced exactly in the same way and same size and tasted processed, and the cheese wasn't even melted completely. The omelette was just incredibly dry and bland. The croissant suffered from the same disease. It was hard, not flaky, and tasted stale as if it had been made yesterday, and all of the meat and cheese was obviously packaged meat and cheese which tasted processed. This tastes nothing like anything you would find at any French bakery in France. In France. Everything is made the same day, and the moment it starts going stale and stops being flaky, is thrown away. This is an absolute insult to French bakeries. Even if you compare it to other American bakeries and breakfast places, nothing tasted good and for that price, it should. Definitely avoid this place. I know I will.

In fact, the staff couldn't be nicer, and they were quite patient as I spent some time ogling the bakery case making my decisions. My selections were all sweets today. Blueberry croissant - a first for me and utterly delicious (couldn't wait to get home and had to have a bite in my car!). An almond and chocolate croissant - the gold standards. I topped off my order with the classically French tarte au pomme and a fresh berry tart with cream filling. Just divine, each and every one! Jerome's does not disappoint!

It's really…read moredifficult to find places that make corned beef hash that they make themselves and is flavorful with corned beef seasonings. I'm always looking for a good place for corned beef hash that is homemade. They also were not stingy with the amount of meat for the hash. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I ordered pumpernickel toast and it came perfectly toasted and buttered. They also use premium jam, Dickinson's red raspberry jam in a little jar. It was a nice touch. To drink I had an iced chai latte. I do not know of many places that actually brew it from scratch with chai tea leaves and spices. My husband tasted it and thought it was as good as what you would get in an Indian tea stall. It does not have any sweetener in it, but has lots of flavor. It was brewed just the way we like it. I don't like places that use sweetened chai concentrate. So be patient while they brew it fresh for you. We also ordered French toast, which was challah bread that had been soaked to give that custard flavor and feel. They also put a little bit of butter on top of the French toast, which adds a nice salty creamy flavor. We were surprised that they were not super busy for breakfast. I would highly suggest trying this place for a wonderful breakfast treat.

They said it is and despite it being $7 it was promptly brought out in a styrofoam cup like one might get from a gas station. What was contained in said cup was what can only be described as a simulacrum of a vanilla and coconut scented candle. It was explained to me that the cold brew was in fact Joffrey's mix and it's Jamaican Me Crazy Flavored. The drink was disposed of. No refund was offered. Had no appetite for cheesecake at that point. Our other drink was served hot instead of iced. Nice outdoor seating. Update to respond to owner- Wow, I appreciate your response but it was not quite "accurate" itself. When I took the cold brew inside to ask about what I was served and was informed that it was not made in house as I was told, and that it was flavored (specifically not what I had requested) I explained I couldn't drink it and asked what could be done. They said "at this point nothing." I think dropped the drink in the trash in front of them. I returned outside, wrote my review, and told the people I was with. My 13 year old niece who I was visiting said "that's insane, I'm going to go get your refund." And sure enough they did! But my review had been written. According to her your staff was not at all accommodating about the refund, but they did provide it. Also, as for etiquette concerns for the party I was visiting family and friends that were already on your patio. I can't vouch for how long they were there or what they did or did not receive. So to recap- I came in with my sister, we ordered 2 drinks. Both were wrong. One was fixed and the other was disposed of. There was a refund after the fact but not to me.

I made it a point to check it out - and I'm very glad I did! This is really a hidden treasure. Going in the door was like walking into a candy store, so many goodies. Fresh bread, pastries, savories and more. I was immediately drawn to the huge beefsteak tomatoes. They looked wonderful and absolutely were, as we couldn't wait to have one when I brought them home. I cannot justify buying hard, force ripened ones from grocery stores. And that was just the beginning! Sweet corn, squash, cukes, green beans and do much more. I was a little pressed for time so only filled one bag but I will be back. A huge variety of fruits, Greek and Arabic specialties, and a large deli area. I did want to try their Spanish soup - next time. And I didn't have time to check out all the coolers and shelves. I spotted some delicious looking cheesecake but had to turn away, we are starting back to WW this week and have not been watching our diet closely.
