JGM listened to exactly what I wanted, and was meticulous in meeting my needs. You'll see from my photos how nice this pet door looks with access from my AZ room to my backyard. When I called to inquire about dog doors, I got a good education about how well these doors are built. You see, I'd purchased a sliding door insert but the dynamics of my home's ventilation was such that the door flap popped open a lot. The magnet wasn't strong enough to stay closed. I was also worried that it was less secure. I was assured that JGM would be the Ferrari of dog doors, but far more reliable! Thank you for a great installation experience! I thought I was so smart, having selected two 'great' places for the pet door. The very polite installer told me the one location wouldn't work because the door I needed was going to be too tall. (I wanted it installed beneath the window in the pic.) The second location looked good but didn't didn't work either, due to metal or wiring within the wall. No matter, he suggested a great space where a small bookshelf was. All I had to do was move the bookcase to another wall and there was even room to put a little carpet square in front of the door so any drips, leaves and rocks would fall there first. The magnets on both flaps are nice and strong and my dog has adjusted easily to the change. It is a superior dog door product, beautifully installed by a careful and knowledgeable installer. read more

Definitely recommend, would use them again. Used these guys back in March 202 and waited until September to write the review to see of any issues came up. I insisted on the extra magnets (we have cats and I didn't want them to get out), my dog refused to use the door unless I held the flaps open. I called and they came out and removed the extra magnets at no charge as it was under warranty. The flaps do not leak air, I was concerned they might. The customer service is excellent, the installer brought out two different colors for us to look at. I'm glad they did, I would have chosen the wrong color. I called many company's to get estimates for having a pet door installed in glass. Usually you have to go with the highest price to get the best service. However the JGM guys were both the best service and lowest price! They return your calls promptly, answer your questions thoroughly, and have creative options to run by you. They schedule your specific day and arrival time (not an a multi-hour window of time like most), arrive on time, really know their stuff, do great work, and make sure you are happy with the product. They reattached my door blinds higher to accommodate the pet door and made sure the blinds are still functional (open and close fine). They made sure that the pet door did not mess with the attached tool that holds the door open when needed. They even matched my inside paint color with the inside frame and the outside frame with my (very different) outside paint color. I love my cat door and these guys really rock! read more

My initial call to set up installation was with a friendly, knowledgeable man. I mentioned that we had just rescued a dog and he told me that they give a discount for doggy door installation for rescue dogs. I didn't even have to ask. He offered it freely. He went over styles and pricing with me. As I was insure what size of door I would need, he told me he would send out 2 sizes. I was given a 2 hour arrival window (between 8-10) and was told installation would take about 2 hours. The installer, Justin, texted me to inform me of his arrival at 8:20 am and said he was 20 mins away. He arrived on time, professionally dressed, with all necessary installation equipment. As expected, he brought 2 sizes of doors and helped me to choose the approximate size for my dog. He helped me choose the perfect spot for the door and got to work. Justin finished in about 90 mins. He had to work around an electrical outlet, and knew how to do that. He also took all of the trash from the project out to our dumpster, leaving his work space clean. The door has a nice frame and a removable plastic door. Justin let me know that if we have issues with our cats using the door, that he could come back with stronger magnets so that the cats wouldn't be able to move the flaps. The price was very reasonable for the parts and the service. We are so happy to have used a company that specializes in installation, we everything went seamlessly. Thank you so much. He performed the old, too small dog door removal, resized the opening, and completed all the installation tasks with expertise. I'm thrilled with the instal of our dog door by JGM! The installer, Tim, just literally left an hour ago and I wanted to write this as soon as I could. When I called to inquire about an install, I was glad to get an upfront price over the phone. This was not my first estimate and I was blown away at the price compared to others. Perfect dog door! Finally a dog door with black flaps to block the sun coming into the east side of our house. Met Greg the owner at the Home Show and knew right away we had found the right dog door for us and the right company To install it. Profesional on the phone and quick to book our installation. Steve the installer did an amazing job. He had to remove our old door and install theirs. It took a little under 2 hours as the dimensions were not the same. The inside has carpet all around which is a nice touch. The magnets attach in 5 spots all around the door and it has weather stripping to further protect from heat. And a 5 year warranty! I am thrilled to write this review for JGM Pet Doors. My initial call was with Eric and he was friendly, funny and so helpful. We got my apt. scheduled to see what and where a dog door would go for my new pup. I don't have a lot of wall space so they suggested putting it in one of my side vent door on my back french doors. I was worried about compromising the doors themselves but OMG it is PERFECT!!!! They did a knock out job. It is everything and more. They even came out twice to take a look to get perfect measurements and it is just that perfect. They took my side vent door out and custom made the exact door middle piece of glass and doggie door at the bottom and it's beautiful. The entire process was fantastic between the office and the Techs everyone was great. I wish every vendor I used had the same customer service standards. Highly recommend!! They were SO professional. I called multiple pet door installers and didn't even hear back from the others! JGM called back, followed up. I spoke with Erik a few times to schedule. His installer Tim was super knowledgeable about the products. But at no point did I ever feel pressured to buy. They're sales-y only in a sense they know their product so well and it makes you want a GOOD product like theirs after they explain what the other options are like. I like that they manufacture the doors locally and they warranty the doors. I am happy and proud to support local businesses especially under the current circumstances. The product is great quality and was installed quickly and painlessly. He had great suggestions on locations to put the door. Now I just have to train my dog to USE the door... they have great tips on how to get the dogs used to using it. So I will be trying that next!
