My pooch was in need of a trim, so my friend suggested I give Marie a call, I did just that. I called her on Monday, asked if she could come over and give pooch a trim, she asked where I live and I gave her my cross streets, phone went dead. I thought we got disconnected so I called back, call was declined. I tried two more times thinking we both were trying to call each other back. I did finally on fourth call reached her VM, I left a message and explained that we were just speaking and to please call back. I also text her as she said in her VM message that she also takes text messages. I waited for 3 days no reply. Bad business practice to say the least!! She could have at least said she doesn't come out to my area if that was her reason for hanging up the call! What kind of business practice is that to just abruptly hang up in the middle of a call for no apparent reason! But she stopped returning calls and started showing up late to appointments or canceling and the last time I had an she she randomly charged me 120 for just the cut! No bath no nail trim just a cut.... Super frustrating since it's been 100.00 the first few times. Our long hair cat, Puff, is prone to severe hairballs and recently had to have emergency surgery for an intestinal hairball blockage. In order to prevent this from happening again, we decided to have him shaved to a lion cut. Marie is wonderful. She arrived on time and quickly got to work. She stated that she was on her way to a couple of appointments and she asked if she could call back in a couple hours after she was completed. I stated it was completely alright to do so. Waited for her to call. Never did. I texted her to repeat my request about setting up an appointment to get my cat groomed. No answer. Seems to be unreliable and flaky. I had some negative experiences in the past and let my cat go too long without being groomed (out of fear). Marie came into our home and made my cat (and me) feel at ease.
