I think the plan I purchased was affordable and gave me a definite sense of security. Not only was he friendly and patient he gave me back my ability to sleep. After "the incident" my insomnia kicked into overdrive. Dario was the installer. He was very nice and helpful too. And he likes the same NFL team!!! I haven't had to call for customer service so I don't know what the negativity is all about. The 2 guys I dealt with were great. And auto pay available which is great. VIVINT continued to withdraw from my account for the next 2 months (July & August 2026) I had called them in July to cancel it, then again in August to cancel it again, and lastly in 9/2/26 to ask for refund. Supervisor says they needed a VERBAL or written cancelation. As I mentioned above I called in June 26, 2026, another time in July & in August and spoke with a Vivint specialist (VERBALLY NOT IN SIGN LANGUAGE) to cancel my service. Bad communication between departments and bad business model/ethics. I highly discourage this alarm company. LOOK FOR ANOTHER ALARM COMPANY TO SERVICE YOUR HOME.

All of the other security companies I reached out to would not troubleshoot or work on the system because they had not installed it. Thankfully Matrix Security was willing to help me and they were able to fix the issue and have continued to support that system even though they did not install it.
