Hello, I found JFK Moving Company on Yelp, and they had the most reviews vs highest rating. I called them on a Sunday to request a move the following Saturday. They responded right away, and took the job. JFK was honest with the price and details, NO hidden fees at all.. They quoted for a 3 bedroom/2 bath house, which included four movers, the truck, gas, mileage, 4 hr minimum (beyond fair!), $249hr cash / $259 card (and they offer Zelle), $50 deposit to confirm, and they kept in touch during the week via text to confirm the appointment and details. Arrived precisely at 8am, asked for a walk through of what we were questing to move, and started at 8:15. I only requested help with the heavy furniture, but requested to move my "knick knacks" solo. They started at 8:15am, and perfectly moved all furniture, packed, and plastic wrapped everything, including all heavy appliances, and had everything in the new house by 11:19am. They moved quick, efficiently, wrapped everything, and got the job done so quick. They took the stressful feeling of moving, and literally made it the best purchase and decision I've ever made. Nice, respectful, and the hardest workers I've met. Nothing broken, nothing cracked, and went the extra mile to ensure all furniture was torn down and reassembled properly, and all possessions placed gently in the right rooms. I wouldn't ever consider moving again with out JFK's help, but I would personally request the following: Lavar J, David R, Kamron S, and Peter M for my service. JFK Moving saved our day! I just did a cross country move and had issues with our moving container (it was supposed to get dropped off directly to our apartment but U-Pack overbooked and weren't able to). We had no way to get our items without having to rent a moving truck and do way more work than we were intending to. I called JFK and they had availability the day of and sent 2 of the most efficient, friendly, and hardworking guys. Since our stuff was stuck at the U-Pack facility 1 hour away from our apartment, they helped us load all of our stuff into a big truck, transported it to our apartment, and unloaded everything into the proper rooms. Matin and Jio did an incredible job balancing speed and being very careful with our belongings and apartment. They were also very communicative with etas. I had hired JFK moving to move and transport my late MIL's items to my residence, from LA to Inland empire. They were very punctual and professional when it came to scheduling and preparing all the items. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be present at the pick up location, but JFK's employees were able to access the building and promptly packed and moved all of the items. When it came to moving a enormous couch into the 2nd floor of my condo, it was an extremely difficult task which I didn't think it was going to be even possible, considering the very tight space the movers had to work with. I didn't take in account the limited space they had avaialble to them. However, Kharifov and Jakhongir were extremely patient and determined to make it happen. After sometime, they were able to maneuver it and have it settled in the exact space desired. Save yourself the headache. We believed the hype and good reviews as moving is already stressful as it is but we've had issues since the day of them arriving. Upon the reassembly of our patio chair, it was broken by the movers. Photos attached. I had to contact them 3 separate times before I received a response. The associate I spoke to reasoned it because of their busy schedule but that is a daily occurrence for everyone and is inexcusable. They advised they would attempt to repair the piece themselves and pickup was finally arranged. It has now been well over a week since my patio furniture was taken and I've received no updates. In total, I'm still dealing with this company three weeks after our original move in date. I rarely write negative reviews but I'm hoping this helps someone avoid hiring this company. I used them in May and I must say they are the worst. I only have one full room, another dresser and desk. I had no more than 10 boxes 2 TVs a couch a dining room table. No refrigerator or stove. Alot of stuff I already took to the new place. They took over 5 hrs, mind you I moved 5 mins away. The movers didn't speak good English so it was hard to communicate. The ruined some of my furniture. They put tape on my dresser which is still there because I know if I take it off the paint will come off with it. They bumped the walls which left black lines on the walls and floors. Everything was smooth except few of these things listed below. One of the mover was inexperienced and lack energy and ideas and took way longer time due to this. Also , I was expecting the clock to be started after looking at the items inside home and then start it, but that was not the case. Only thing was I made them move the bed frame from packaging room which was right beside the truck before going to apt Also , this timing of 5.15hours is after, my wife and I packaging all the kitchen items ourselves in u haul boxes and packaging half of the dresses in 3 suitcases . Also we unpacked all the stuffs in the new apartment as we were already concerned with the time We felt like there were not adequate moving supplies to stack items one above the other so that things could stack and move rather than moving each boxes one by one. Atleast that s what we have seen with previous mover. I wouldn't be going back to them in future. Please make sure you ask for experienced workers Incase going with them. These guys were awesome. They moved me from North Hollywood to Studio City and they kicked butt doing it! Nothing damaged and they weren't trying to milk the time to get more hours either. James was very helpful and polite over the phone in answering all my questions and made sure to send out a good crew. They worked hard and didn't even take a lunch break! He sent out Michael who was the lead foreman and knight and khusrav who were the helpers and I'm thankful they moved my items without smashing or scratching anything. I have a heavy glass table which weighs a good amount and it was handled with care and attention. In times like these it's nice to have honest movers who don't take longer than they need to. These guys did a great job moving me into my new 2 bedroom apartment. It was a difficult day but they didn't complain once. Our building's elevator was broken at the new place and they had to take everything up 3 flights of stairs but they did it with care and in a timely manner. Everything was wrapped and protected which I really appreciate, especially because I've heard some horror stories of movers breaking glass mirrors and ruining belongings. These guys didn't do that and I'm very grateful. Their manager even came out to assist free of charge so I had the help of 3 people for the price of 2 which allowed the entire move to finish much faster and for me to save some money. We had several pieces of furniture that needed to be wrapped and packed by the movers. We were also still packing when they arrived, and they worked around us (sorry!). I just completed a move and must say that this was one of the best moving experiences I have had and I have moved A LOT in my lifetime. I originally had contacted a mover that I've used multiple times over the past 10 years. About a week before my move I stopped hearing from him. I did an internet search and put my move info into a "moving" search engine on Google. I was contacted by almost 2 dozen companies via email, text and phone. One of the things that had me reach out to JFK was that their original email had necessary information, including rates. Additionally, they just sent me one email and didn't inundate with me with multiple calls and texts as many of the other companies did. When I reached out to them, James was helpful, quick and accommodating of my request. He provided me with a quote right on the initial call. I did not have to complete an unnecessary inventory sheet or spend close to an hour describing my specifics (which I was asked to do with multiple companies). After initially booking I received an email confirmation with the specifics. The morning before the move I received an email reminder. The evening before the move I received a text with the estimated arrival time and the crew was there 5 minutes before the arrival time I was given the night before. I have never been given a specific time (not a range) and had movers show up so close to the estimated arrival time. The crew started working the moment they arrived. The lead, Odysseas, was on top of everything from the start. He was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and handled the entire day like a true professional. He and his crew (Ron, Chris & Sherzod) wrapped all my furniture quickly and meticulously. If Odysseas saw that anything wasn't wrapped to his satisfaction, he redid it himself (only happened once but I was impressed that he stopped what he was doing to take the time to rewrap something as the original wrapping wasn't bad, it just wasn't to his standards). Everything was being moved into storage and I requested that the crew load the truck such that the furniture was offloaded first at the storage unit. Odysseas accommodated my request even though it took some maneuvering at the end to get my oversized sofa loaded so we could just do one load. Once we arrived Odysseas again worked his magic and loaded my storage unit like a pro!! I could not have been more happy with how the day went or more impressed with a moving company!! Need a full service mover at the last minute. JFK movers booked my move 12/26/2019 at 7pm and came the very next day and completely packed us and moved us the same day. 13 1/2 hours and 5 movers later, we couldn't have been more pleased. They disassembled and reassembled every piece of furniture and really did a great job in protecting all of our possessions during the move. I need to acknowledge this wonderful moving company. I work for an office that donated a refrigerator to a family that I know, and that's in need. A single mother with two daughters. My husbands tailgate broke on his truck and his work hours were crazy. The lady that was receiving the refrigerator had a brother that was also trying to help but he has crazy work hours and then he got into an accident. All this time (we are talking about 3 weeks) my brother remained on stand by to help move it. It was a crazy situation, so reached out to several moving companies. Every other moving company was taking advantage of the holidays so they price gouged. During the time I was trying to get some help to move the refrigerator I lost my father and all went south for me. I took a break from even dealing with the refrigerator because of my loss. When I decided to get back on the ball I see a retuned message from the owner of this company. One I hadn't opened yet. I read it and it was a real blessing, he was not trying to run me through the ringer and over charge me for the move. AND he was willing to move right away not make us wait a week like most of the other moving companies. Talked to Adam last minute to help my family move all their furniture and big items out of the old house into the new one. He had three men at 8am the next day while I was at work. My family were extremely satisfied on how hard these three men were working. My mother said it was a lot of work for them and I should have gone with Adams advice by getting 4 men instead. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy I found a moving company that was reliable and most importantly made my families move a little less stressful. I had our floors redone. JFK movers wrapped furniture in plastic and safely moved everything in house (boxes) outside under covered patio. After the floors were installed they returned and placed everything back in its proper place and even assembled bed back. Not one thing was broken and expertly moved everything without a scratch on my new floors. They did an excellent & professional Job. Excellent service. In a bind, I called this company on a Wednesday morning and scheduled an appointment 48 hours later to unload my heavy possessions from an ABF U-pack trailer. The three movers were on time and didn't screw around. They worked hard. More importantly, hey carried heavy dressers, beds and a desk to the third floor of a townhome. All staff wore masks. But more importantly, they were so honest. They arrived later than the slotted time and already were prepared to give me a discount. We moved some heavy furniture from out of a house and into an apartment-- all in 3 hours flat! Issues finding parking the big truck in on my new street, included in this time. Finally, at the end of the move and after they had stopped the clock officially, they then offered to help me unload the wardrobe boxes they let me use free of charge-- after they stopped the clock! I ended up tipping them bc they were so so good. I have moved over a handful of times and all over the west and east Coast. Hands down the best experience, and with the most stuff to move. Really recommend them. Really really. For nothing else, just bc of their pure honesty and working hard. Something rare w movers who want to add up little fees and get you in the end. Pretty harsh language barrier with the movers who showed up. Nice guys and they worked hard but one of the two guys moved pretty slow unless pushed and obviously didn't know some of the finer points of using a hand truck. Found a few surprise nasty gouges in our upstairs walls and stair rails after they were done moving. Those things happen but would have been more professional for them to let me know instead of saying nothing and us discovering later on our own. Overall, ok for the price but wouldn't say it was top-notch moving services. read more

Had a hard-working team help us move from Sun Valley to Valley Village yesterday. They wore masks are were respectful of protecting the carpet in the new apartment from dirt. My only qualm would be that we were missing the screws and brackets for a bookshelf that screws into the wall. Luckily, we're in a situation where our old apartment is a short drive, and we still have access to it, so we can go back and try to find the brackets. read more

They were polite, respectful of our property, honest, fast, super careful and worked non-stop to get everything moved perfectly. We're on the 3rd floor of an apartment building with a loft and an outdoor balcony where we had 5-10 gallon planters, so it wasn't a straight forward move. We appreciate not having to dismantle and rebuild the furniture (Odysseus handled this like a pro).
