They suggested we have it looked at. I spent some time looking at reviews of foundation companies, and settled on Bats. When I called, I was asked a few questions about my issue, and an appointment time was set with Calvin Burnett for about a week later. Calvin called ahead because he was running early the day of the appointment. He spent over an hour inspecting our home inside and out. He took precise measurements from a high point on our floor, and at points throughout our home. When he was done, he explained what he found, which was that the foundation measurements were within specification. He sent a report including a map of our home with the measurements later that same day. There was no charge for this, and Bats will keep the data in their records for comparison if the need arises in the future. Both the person I spoke with over the phone and Calvin were professional and helpful. There was no obligation or charge for the excellent service we received. I highly recommend this business for their honesty and professionalism.

After they left, I noticed a sprinkler head was out of alignment. When I went to adjust it, it came up in my hand. They had broken the line and just stuck the sprinkler head in the ground. I found 2 more just like that. I tried to get the issue resolved, went back and forth with people in management, etc. and they just never got back to me.

I called for a reference for a structural engineer and the gentleman that answered the phone was…read morevery rude and dismissive. He asked why I wanted a "structural engineer" and said that "no one would help me since my home was under warranty" I explained as homeowners we were very concerned about our foundation because of broken tile, and several cracks we saw within a few months of purchasing our new home. He was very rude and raised his voice to me and said "you need to get a lawyer" Thankfully I found a reputable company to help me that was more than helpful and didn't treat me like a moron. *After a response from the owner stating that the gentleman was on a job site and raised his voice because it was noises & that he was trying to steer me in the right direction. I must say that I heard no background "job site" noise at all and the the person on the phone was adversarial and downright rude. I can tell the difference between someone being helpful and someone being rude. He also stated he wouldn't give me the name of his structural engineer, after I asked for it. Certainly not the professionalism that I expected or received from the other foundation repair companies I've spoken to or worked with in my professional life. A simple apology would be better than an excuse, sir. I stand by my initial review.

I was particularly impressed with the clean-up. I had resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have to completely redo the flower beds after they were done, but they put everything back together remarkably well. The whole job took two days, one day of excavating and another of leveling and clean-up. We got bids from two other highly-reviewed companies for this job, but we went with Done Right because they communicated so well, they seemed very competent, and they were competitively priced.
