This was the best option, there's a few places in the area that offer self serve, but hamm's had the best pricing model (we got the 5 wash punch card for $30). There is a lifted, deep tub, hair dryer, plenty of washclothes and towels and they supply all the washes you could need (though we brought out own due to skin sensitivity). We were shown to our own room and given a thorough but brief rundown of everything we would need. 10/10 definitely recommend.

No dog hair on the floor (like in some beauty salons I've been to), no tools scattered about, no wet towels on the floor. Because Shawn takes such extreme measures these puppies are well prepared to enter into almost any home or situation. Shawn also prepares the new owners of her puppies the importance of establishing obedience and order for your dog. She has complete YouTube instructional classes on how to train your puppy and setting up the dog and the new owner for success. today October 24th we had a appt for bath/groomer for our 4 month old shitzu. Petco needed the…read morerabies vaccine proof and my wife handed the proof but included medical documents that were not asked for. the woman showed all the paperwork to a woman named Rachel and they refused the scheduled appointment and told us to take the puppy to get groomed in a clinic instead because of a supposed heart murmur. I didn't like what she said and told Rachel that she is a not a nurse to say that. me and my wife left but had to return because my wife noticed that the vaccine medallion that she submitted was missing. so she had to call them and said that we are on the way back. upon arriving they had locked the door and the woman in the reception walked very fast to the back. still they refused to let us in so a lady came out from inside the store and we told her that we are customers but it is very unprofessional and disrespectful to lock the door of the groomer. I want the woman named Rachel to be dismissed. she is representing your company and locked the door to my wife and me. Her excuse to me was that I was scaring her. sure!!, anything to cover her her actions. We heard very bad things about the groomers but I didn't believe until it happened to us. it was our first time ever taking any of our pets to that groomer. IT WILL BE THE LAST TIME WE WILL GO AND EVEN SHOP IN THIS PETCO .

They cannot hang onto staff so most groomers are only around for 1-2 sessions before you get someone new. Groomers were generally friendly but inexperienced at best. Today they inexplicably completely shaved (!!) my golden retriever and then I was basically told to pound sand by the office staff. The office told me that it was my fault for not showing a picture of the cut I wanted (what professional groomer hasn't seen a golden?) and also falsely accused my dog of being overly matted (absolutely false). The office said anything they could to avoid being accountable. My dog looks absolutely ridiculous and now has zero hair as our weather drops into the 30s. Save yourself the headache. Go *anywhere* else.
