My dog is 10 months old, but very well behaved for his age so I did not see any reason as to why they wouldn't even offer to finish his haircut. When I called for a refund after my boyfriend explaining the situation to me, the owner stated she overheard the groomer charge us this amount knowing the condition our animal was in, but didn't intervene. From what we understand is that this business owner is okay with employing "independent contractors" and not standing up for her business and the prices she sets. I was quoted for $110 for nails, bath, ear cleaning and haircut. Not $90 for my dogs back to be shaved. Very poorly run and I will not be taking my animal back here ever.

When I asked if they had a small bag of food, she didn't even answer directly and instead gave unnecessary advice that had nothing to do with my question. It felt dismissive and insulting. As someone with experience working at the SPCA, I found the attitude especially frustrating. I was ready to spend money here, but after this interaction, I won't be coming back. Today they inexplicably completely shaved (!!) my golden retriever and then I was basically told to pound sand by the office staff. The office told me that it was my fault for not showing a picture of the cut I wanted (what professional groomer hasn't seen a golden?) and also falsely accused my dog of being overly matted (absolutely false). The office said anything they could to avoid being accountable. My dog looks absolutely ridiculous and now has zero hair as our weather drops into the 30s. Save yourself the headache. We don't do unnecessary tests or procedures. We don't like being pushed to get vaccinations that aren't necessary. This place is just like that. Nothing was pushed. The vet agreed to not give him an unnecessary vaccination due to this age. We agreed to a panel of tests based on the urinalysis but the vet stepped us through each possible issue and made us feel at ease and there's no need for more testing or making any changes. We didn't like the small rooms or the office space but to get a vet we like makes that irrelevant. The staff was super. The vet also told us about the other vets so we know if he's not there, we feel comfortable enough to go to a different vet in the practice. Our little guy is 14 years old and was treated with care and knowledge. I got the name of this place on nextdoor.com but I confirmed what they all said on Yelp. We felt great seeing the complaint about how this place was during the covid crisis (on Yelp) and knew it was the right place to go :) . So, thanks Yelp users.

These dogs are the perfect size for families or just to have as a special little friend. They are well feed, groomed, and are microchipped before you receive them. Because Shawn takes such extreme measures these puppies are well prepared to enter into almost any home or situation. Shawn also prepares the new owners of her puppies the importance of establishing obedience and order for your dog. She has complete YouTube instructional classes on how to train your puppy and setting up the dog and the new owner for success. I have purchased many show dogs from champion breeders however none have been more prepared for their new lives outside of their breeders homes.
