my friend and i went to this store to buy a toy and some treats for my dog. it was my dogs 5th birthday and the store is walking distance from my house so we decided to go to buy some things for my dogs birthday. we are both 14 years old and very kind and respectful when in stores. we walked in and i went to look at the birthday cake toys and while my friend was looking at their cats. a worker said "hi girls" so my friend said hi back in a very polite manner. we thought that would be the end of the interaction until we went to the counter to pay but we couldn't be more wrong. my friend walked up next to me to look at the toys with me and that's when the woman said "hey girls if your underage i can't let you stay here without a guardian" i've lived here my whole life and i've come to this store multiple times alone or with a friend and not once has that ever been the case. most of the workers have always been very kind and i never saw that woman once before. i find this situation very rude and ageist and they just lost paying customers. we were forced to leave and ended up buying what we could at giant which was hard to come by because giant is a supermarket not a pet store. i constantly have to deal with getting dirty looks and assumptions made up about me just because im a teenager. i never steal, i smile, im kind, im respectful, and im always very calm in stores. i'm fed up with constantly being treated like gum under someone's shoe just because im a teenager. news flash, not all teenagers are rude, steal, and go into stores without the intent of buying. i'm a customer and i deserve to be treated as such. i will no longer be coming to this store after this interaction. read more

Love how Brittany grooms my Daisy . She is very gentle and thorough. I would highly recommend Chaar grooming in Forks.

I used to love coming here but after trying to book a grooming appointment for a month and a half, during hours, I'm done with them. Left four voicemails and not one returned. Spoke to the woman in the front of the store but she said she couldn't help and all she could do was transfer me. Not easy to get business when you don't return calls read more

I have been taking my dogs to Miranda for the past 3 years, and the past 5 months to Charr in Easton. Even though I travel further now, I would not take my dogs to any other groomer. I take Luna in for grooming every 4-5 weeks. Miranda always does a thorough and great job. She is very friendly, professional and skilled. Luna is a rescue as was my last dog and Miranda always ensures that the dog is treated with utmost kindness and care. Thank you for doing a great job! read more

Honestly 1 star is a bit generous for their Easton location. We are new to the area, and needed to find a new groomer...and this isn't it! My son & daughter-in-law brought my 11 year old Bichon in to be groomed. And not only did their groomer, Miranda butcher my dog's hair, (which will obviously grow back- but certainly unpleasant for my baby to be almost bald in November) she literally CUT her in several spots! We weren't happy right from the pick up, but again, her hair will grow back... the following day, when the wounds were bleeding, my daughter in law contacted the supervisor, Liz, who offered us a free grooming next time with a "more experienced" groomer. If it was just a bad haircut, I probably would have considered it... but after seeing all the bleeding cuts and scabs, not a chance! Really, who would? My husband then contacted Liz and still no resolution... so, we took pictures and are contacting our attorney. In 11 years, we've NEVER even complained about a grooming... but this is unacceptable- my dog was injured during a grooming and they just don't care! If you love your dogs, like I do- DO NOT go to this groomer! read more

It's great to have a pet store and great grooming in Forks Township! After having to drive out to Nazareth to get things for our animals it's great to be able to stay close to home. The groomers have been a really big help to our dog Macie who constantly seems to need her anal glands expressed. Leah and Miranda are always willing to help and very good with her. Even after an emergency rescheduling of our dogs last appointment they made sure things were done right and we are very satisfied with the groomers! The employees also give her love and helped us find a food that is working wonders for her weight loss and some liver issues she encountered earlier this year. read more

They constantly cancel grooming appointments. I called the first week of March to schedule a grooming appointment for my two small dogs. I was told the first available date was April 9th. At that time I asked that they make a note in their computer that I do not wish to have the nail grinding done. On April 8th I received a phone call saying that my appointment for grooming had to be canceled because the groomer would not be available. I did not reschedule at that time. On April 21st I was called and told they had availability on April 29th. Out of convenience I made the appointment. After I dropped off my dogs I called to remind them not to do the nail grinding on my dogs. Upon reviewing my receipt at home I realized I was charged for one nail grinding. I called and spoke to Melissa, I was told there wasn't any notation in the computer not to grind the nails and that the groomer Missy thought I meant not to grind only my Bichons nails. So I had to pay the charge. It's a minimal charge of $6, however they were asked twice not to do it. I have had my dogs groomed there since they have opened and have always tipped the groomers 20%. So now because of the way Melissa handled the $6 charge I will no longer bring my dog's there. She made a poor business decision and lost the business of eight dog grooming charges equaling $492 all over their incompetence and $6. I gave them one star only for convenience. read more
