I have been coming here a long time. About 7 years now. Most of the staff know me by name. I have 5…read morecats, 2 dogs, salt water fish and fresh water fish. I spend a lot of money monthly on food and supplies. Having the $5 rewards is extremely beneficial. My favorite of course is the staff as I mentioned. They take time to ask about your pets and your needs. After my surgery it was a few months I didn't go in. They knew about it. When I did make it out of the house petco was one of my first stops. Three of the staff came over to welcome me back and helped me with my products as I was still in a brace. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Kelly and Nick are my favorite!

I usually never leave bad reviews, but this time I simply cannot stay silent. If you ever consider…read morebringing your dog here for grooming, bathing, or nail trimming, my honest advice is: do NOT go to this Petco. A couple of days ago, I brought my dogs in. After about two hours, I received a text saying they were ready for pickup. When I was already two minutes away, they suddenly called to tell me that my Golden Retriever had been taken to the Emergency Hospital because he was bleeding. I was shocked. When I arrived, my first question was why they didn't call me before taking him to the ER. Noah S., the person who trimmed his nails, responded with a smirk on his face, saying he "did" call me. I told him he only called after my dog was already in the emergency room. I rushed to the hospital, and when I saw my dog covered in blood, with a bump on his head, and all of his nails cut down to the quick, I was horrified. Afterward, I took him to my own veterinarian, and the woman who transported him from Petco went with me. They did cover all the expenses -- but that does not undo what happened. I will NEVER bring my pets here again, and I strongly advise others to stay away. Please be careful.

The ditzy receptionist failed to copy his records to their archaic system comprising a file cabinet and some files. Let's hope there's never a fire! Next appointment, we mentioned his skin and constant itching. We had to mention it instead of the unfriendly vet noticing after his so-called first checkup. He proceeds to give our fur baby a powerful steroid and prescribes him an oral steroid. Our baby was more juiced than Arnold Schwarzenegger! Throughout more appointments, we mention our dog's increase in appetite and the fact he was scooting his butt on the floor. Instead of doing any testing, because why waste time, he decides to prescribe him medication for flatulence. Our fur baby had tapeworms...not gas. The symptoms should've been a dead giveaway for a seasoned vet. We found out about his tapeworms AND his fractured tooth from a different practice. A practice that cares. Not to mention, after ten appointments, the receptionist finally asked for our dog's records. TEN APPOINTMENTS. Also, the vet only prescribed our dog heartworm medication, not a preventative for all worms. This practice had us purchase a flea and tick treatment but told us to apply it ourselves. The whole practice needs to be more organized, the receptionist is aloof, and the vet is unamicable. If you DON'T care about your pets, I'd highly recommend this practice.
