Additionally, one of my dogs can be a real handful around dogs with whom he is not acquainted (thusly characterized as somewhat of a special needs dog). I looked through many of the pet service websites that require you to become a member and then they contact you based on criteria you entered on their website--only to be disgusted with the process. For the sake of brevity, my wife and I got the contact information for Mrs. Nanny Paws. The service is unbelievable! For $16/day they walk my two dogs for a half hour (whatever time of day you ask for). All of their employees are subject to criminal background checks and tightly managed by the owner, Marilyn. As if having great piece of mind about the folks that are entering your home while you're not there and caring for your pets isn't enough, it's nice to know they go the extra mile. Last week, my younger lab came down with a terrible case of chronic diarhhea. He has a sensitve stomach and it's easily treatable, but it doesn't stop the mess from happening while my wife and I are at work. The service not only fulfilled their usual duties during this time, they also cleaned the mess from my apartment when they visited. They even went so far as to stop by several times those days to allow him to go outside! I would recommend this service to anybody, I am truly satisfied in every regard with this company! -GW
