I have ordered from the Westlake Jet's numerous times but today was the last time. I placed the online order for delivery at 1:43pm and after a hour and 20 minutes I called to check the status of the order since it was promised to be delivered in a hour. I was told the driver was in the area and should be here shortly. After over a hour and a half it finally arrived. The 2 pizza's were barely warm and the same for the boneless chicken. We order from Jet's Pizza, Westlake location, a couple of times a month. First of all, their Deep Dish pizza is amazing!!! Nothing tops that. I was introduced to Jet's at my cousin's house, near Detroit. I love the crust, my favorite part of a pizza, "thin" crust is not my style. So I was very happy to find Jet's in Ohio, finally ordered pick-up from the Westlake location. Upon arrival, it struck me that the shop is filthy. Front door is grimy and the floor at the long entrance room is very dirty. Peeking over the counter, the kitchen itself did not seem to be very clean. I've never seen any restaurant this bad. Unfortunately, the employees were nice and the pizza was delicious (as long as I don't get food poisoning) - sauce, cheese and toppings were just right (although mushrooms were canned, not fresh) - and I will not be able to return to this shop, the filth was so off-putting. Luckily, it looks like there will be a new shop opening soon in Avon, so I will check that out because I do love Jet's pizza! read more

Jets got our order wrong, and instead of offering to make it right, the manager aggressively argued for a good five minutes with my husband about how my husband was totally off base with his order, when we have a text order that clearly shows proof of what we ordered. How hard would it have been for the manager to acknowledge our frustration and offer a refund, or even a coupon for a future purchase? Instead he was argumentative and mean. We use to love this pizza joint... sadly it's losing its quality. All food was cold when it arrived, the cheese on the cheese sticks wasn't cooked thoroughly and their "Deep Dish" isn't actually a Deep Dish. It's just a thicker crust. If you look up the definition of Deep Dish, it refers to the Chicago style pizza that holds toppings between 2 layers. EVERYONE KNOWS THIS. Theirs is just a taller pizza- very similar to every single other pizza places "pan pizza." The Deep Dish breadsticks are literally the exact same as their regular- I know bc I ordered both. Giving 5 stars to a chain pizza place does sound kind of ridic, right? But, Jets - I can't resist! The 8-Corner pizza is probably the best big chain pizza I've had, ever. It's horrible for you - but it's so, so, so good! The crust is that fabulous greasy, crispy that Pizza Hut of olden times used to have. The sauce is good and it's never been overwhelming. We've only ever had the Pepperoni (or the Spicy Pepperoni) which are both delish. They offer flavored crusts - my vote is the Turbo - it's a combo of the Butter, Garlic, and Romano. It seems like at all times they are running an $11.99, 8-Corner special. Just tell them you have the coupon - they have never asked me for it. The staff has always been friendly when I go in to pick up and my order has always been right (gotta knock on wood now, right?). We've had it delivered once and it was quick and still fresh! Ok, after reading other reviewers for this place, I have to agree that sometimes the food is really tasty but other times not so much. It's still good at those times but not to die for. I wonder if they have different people cooking on different days. I say this because we used to get the 8 corner pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and red onions and turbo crust every week for a long time. There were times the pizza was terrific but other times not so much. I liked to say that a different chef was working that night. Anyway, the pizza is still better than any other pizza we've had from other places!! Lately, we have been eating the other offerings for a change of pace. For example the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza which we found delicious. Also, we get wings and salads sometimes and they are excellent!! I'm a fan of the pizza, especially with Turbo Crust. The deep dish is awesome, but when I get it I find it to he very filling after 2 squares...so I usually order rounds. This store has been around the neighborhood a while, and STILL DOESN'T HAVE ONLINE ORDERING. It's ridiculous at this point. "Coming Soon" my ass. It bothers me alot, because I would rather skip the lifeless cyborgs of people taking your order and just order it myself. Not only do they sound unpleasant 95% of the time, but they hardly ever repeat your order back to you. That needs to be done ALWAYS. The Worst Pizza experience I have had in 50 years on this planet. I paid $25.00 for a pizza with extra cheese, extra sauce and pepperoni to be delivered to my family. I got a burnt black pizza without extra cheese, without pepperoni, and without extra sauce. The 21 year old manager, Taylor laughed at me and asked if I would give the pizza back to the driver so he could switch it with another family in the building. During the Corona Virus!!!!!!
