Acted like I was being dishonest. I didn't mention the pizza was also undercooked and was given wrong dipping sauce also. Guess I should have checked before leaving, my bad. This was the first pizza place we've tried since moving to the area, and I'm not sure I need to try another. We got the cheese bread, a round, and a square pizza. All three were near perfection. We got different toppings on half of each pizza so we would try various combinations. All four variations were top-quality ingredients, and it all tasted good both cold and reheated the next day too.

I ate both fresh and then both reheated. The powdered cheese on the bread sticks still tasted funny and the oil/butter? stick topping seemed suspicious and flavorless...so soybean, margarine, something else? A few years back this place was the best, what happened, and why do they feel the need to overcook everything?

Nearly everything can be made vegan and the menu is clearly marked. They have loads of toppings for omnis and vegans. The garlic knots are devine and I get them with vegan ranch. The flavors are fresh. There is a dessert case with baked goods (including vegan cookies). I just learned they opened a dessert bar two doors down and take pie orders. They have ice cream this time of year. I picked up vegan butter pecan and blueberry coconut (both vegan). Happy to support this local biz again and again.

I have tried many, many pickle pizzas from various places and some were good and some were horrible... this one was fantastic. I really, really liked it. My wife even liked it! The pickles slices were not just thrown on the pizza whole like almost all places do, there were cut up which was a pleasant surprise and the dill weed although it sounds weird, was a great idea. The crust was not too thin, not too thick it was perfect and crispy and the sauce, I forgot what they call it, it was great. Not too overpowering and not non-existent it was perfect and had great flavor. I would definitely order this pizza again and again.

I'll start this trip with Buscemi's, a well-known convenience store and delicatessen. I arrived a bit ahead of my expected arrival time, only to find out there was a problem with the order I was to deliver. They'd had a 'run' on sausage and had run out, and they were unable to contact the customer with the phone number they'd given. I, too, was unable to reach them by phone, and my texts asking them to call Buscemi's were ignored. The deli decided to put the order together without sausage and subtracted the extra cost from the prepaid order and asked me to deliver their apology with the meal. I delivered the food as instructed and had a chance to explain about the changed order with the customer; they appreciated the store's honesty and accepted the delivery as-is. What could have been a tense confrontation with an irate client was diffused by a simple explanation, and I was pleased to be part of the solution. I'd recommend Buscemi's to anyone who's craving a quality product from honest, hard-working people.

Structurally, it was a pseudo-New York style pizza loaded with thick cheese, light sauce, and thin crust with some carbonization on the outer edges. One star lost for the lower quality pepperoni. Perhaps I'll roll the dice and order another soon. Fingers crossed.
