Jet's Pizza was a pizza place that was long on my list to try. Steve and I were thrilled when we finally got to try it and would certainly come back for it again. The pizza here is done Detroit style and the pizza is cut I to squares as opposed to triangles. We picked something a little more basic as far as toppings go like pepperoni and black olives. The ingredients were fresh and tasted great! We devoured this pizza with very little thought and kept a piece for each of us to have cold the next day. This pizza was great in the leftover regard as well. This restaurant is take out only so you can't eat at the location here. We were a little ways from home so we went to the closest park which was alright but the neighborhood was questionable... so on the next go around we will find either another park to go to or take it home. The pick up time was on point, the staff immediately got it done on time and super quick and friendly with the smooth transaction. I would definitely visit again. Probably the only reason I am not giving a five star is due to cost. I understand the cost of goods and staffing are likely to blame, but overall a bit pricey. Otherwise, this is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood and the food is excellent. They offer a variety of new and different types of crusts, the toppings are good, and overall excellent. Staff are friendly, even when it's busy and there is a long line. If you haven't given them a try, I highly recommend it. read more

They put canned mushrooms on their pizzas, not fresh. Rubbery, soggy mushrooms out of a can. I'd be embarrassed to serve a dish with canned mushrooms to a guest at my house for free, let alone charge someone for it. I drove 30 minutes and paid $35 for a medium pizza with canned mushrooms on it. Also, their pizzas are currently half off. Did I get half off my pizza? No. Why? Because I ordered online, apparently. So happy to see more Jets Pizza locations in the western Washington area. In my opinion their Detroit square pizza is the best chain-pizza you can get. Service was on time and friendly, and I ordered the "ultimate pepperoni", added jalapeños & turbo crust, and paired with the ranch dipping sauce on the side was just delicious and very satisfying meal. My mom suggested pizza for lunch and Jet's is near her home, recently opened and known by my visiting sister-in-law and niece. I had never heard of Jet's Pizza chain that was well-known by our Midwestern family. We ordered an 8-square, Detroit-style pizza topped with pepperoni and pineapple as requested by my niece. A 50:50 New York-style pizza was also ordered; half pepperoni and pineapple (niece's call) and the other half a white base topped with sausage, mushroom and onion. Not to miss out on salad we ordered antipasto and garden salads. I was happily surprised by the freshness of the salad ingredients. A very pleasant Kaleigh (sp?) took our order over the phone and Ben walked our order out to me as I was standing outside Jet's storefront. There are no tables or chairs inside and, therefore, this Jet's location is definitely a takeaway establishment. Such an amazing little pizza spot located next to QFC! Please note there isn't any seating and it's take out only. I was really impressed by their large menu with many different pizza styles. There are not a lot of pizza places where you can try deep dish around Tacoma, so I was really excited. It didn't disappoint! Their cheese breads are also delicious. We ordered both NY & Detroit style since I like thin crust & my hubby likes thick crust. Both tasted just ok to me, nothing special but my hubby liked the Detroit pizza more. Also, we ordered with butter & garlic crust but did not taste the garlic at all. Maybe I'll try their calzones next time. read more

We overheard some folks speaking positively about this newer pizza place, and I've been wanting to give it a try ever since. We ordered online for takeout, and it was a smooth and easy process. Our pizza was ready by the time it was promised, and the service was friendly and prompt. There's also plenty of parking because it's in a shopping plaza next to QFC. I didn't realize it was a chain until stumbling on the reviews here. The pizza was very good - crispy crust, loaded with toppings - what more could you ask for! Last two times we've ordered something was wrong with the order, the culprit? The text ordering system is AI and it doesn't process orders correctly at least if you have a slight change or add ons. If you have lived in Seattle as long as I have, you have seen many pizza places come and go. Pizza Pete's, Pietro's, Pizza Haven, Godfather's, Alfy's, etc. We now live in a world of low quality, cheap pizza like Dominoes. Lil Ceasars, Papa Johns and the once tasty Pizza Hut. If I can't get quality pizza, I don't even bother, and my two choices locally have been Flying Pie in Issaquah and Pizza Gallery in Burien. Both have decreased in quality and value but still offer a far better experience than most chains. I decided to give Jet's a try. The pizza looked tasty, the reviews were positive, and I've never had Detroit style pizza. First impressions were of how nice, helpful and enthusiastic employees were. I called first and had a warm experience on the phone. When I arrived, I was welcomed in and treated well and when I returned to pick up my pizza, was again, warmly reieved. The price wasn't bad, it could have been a few dollars less, but the guy actually gave me a 3 dollar off coupon, which basically went back to him as I left a $3 tip. I got a 4 corner, Jet 10, which is their smallest fully loaded, Detroit pizza. The current score for this place is 4/5. This place is flirting with greatness, and I'll break down why. First, the service is flawless. Fast food employees tend to be lazy, disgruntle and entitled. Everyone here was happy and helpful. Second, the pizza crust was flavorful and crisp, although I could have used a little more butter. The pizza was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh. I could only eat two of the 4 slices due to the overall volume. Had there been a side like soup or salad, a single slice would have sustained me. My only real knock on the pizza is the fact that had it been better topped, it would have been life changing. 15%-20% more topping would have made this the best pizza in the area. Both Flying Pie and Pizza Gallery used to serve pizzas with a mountain of toppings, literally a mound, and both have scaled back diminishing the overall pizza experience. This place is out of the way, so I don't see it getting the level of traffic it deserves, but I see they have a Lynnwood location, so it's clear they are coming to the area. Hopefully we get something closer and more central to Seattle. The place is takeout only, so if you travel, be prepared to eat in your car, or find a park where you can sit down, but at this point, park weather is near behind us for the year, so I would just plan to enjoy a slice in your vehicle. The place is better than good, it's really good, but not great. The Pizza is currently a B+, get to an A and I'll revise my review. read more

Former NYC pizza snob here, currently living outside Tacoma WA. After seeing Jet's pizza advertised nearly everywhere I decided to give it a try. I got the $8.99 2 slices and a 20oz soda. I can't believe these words are coming out of my mouth, but WOW this is truly spectacular pizza! Detroit, you've brought honor to your city (unlike those losers from Chicago). Came in for lunch with my family. The restaurant is new and the staff were very friendly. It is take out only, no seating available. My family and I shared a deep dish Jets Special pizza and their breadsticks. It was a solid 9/10. The crust was not too oily or heavy but still doughy with some crunch. Breadsticks were a 7/10. Overall, it was a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. I would recommend to a friend. read more

I went to this place because the pizza good, but not the best service. I walked in after work to get a small Pizza salad and a soda. Place my order more people came in after me with larger orders . They walked out, came back, and all of their orders were done before mine.. They dropped my pizza and had to remake it. They did not tell me. I went up to the cashier and some other man and said i ordered first first5 minutes before that last people that got their order. That's when they just it should be up in 2 to 3 minutes. OK, aside from this being some of the best pizza we've had in years... Their customer service is outstanding! There was a misunderstanding with our order and they accidentally made two orders. My husband picked up one and brought it home. The owner called us to tell us that our order was ready, and waiting for pick up. This was my first time ordering from Jet's. I am so happy that I found them because I was disgusted trying to find decent pizza in the PNW. The young man at the register was very friendly and attentive. The pizza came in less than 20 minutes. I ordered bone in wings, which were hot, flavorful and perfectly cooked. I'm at the NE Tacoma location. I have bought pizza several times. It is good (got tired of Vinny's). Every time I come here they are way understaffed. Every time I come in I ask why don't you have more staff and each time I am told the owner does not wish to staff properly. Obviously, this is not great for business. It is Pennywise and Pound foolish. I guess I'm going back to Vinny's where it's always staffed and it's quick! C'est la vie! PS the people that work here are pretty good folks who are working to make a living. That's off to them, but not to the Jets ownership! read more
