I'll preface this review that in general the Detroit deep dish from Jet's pizza is probably the best "fast food" style deep dish you can get. The service is just fine. Unfortunately I only gave 3 stars because every single time I order my pizza I request it be cooked "well done" and unfortunately every single time it's made and I take it home it is not. I can somewhat understand that ppl complain about things being well done, and baked past a certain undesirable darker color may in turn make a customer unhappy BUT when a customer consistently makes it clear and goes out of their way to request they want their pizza well done and the pizza place consistently fails to take the customers preparation request seriously you do start to feel you are not being heard and frustration sets in. Jet's Pizza has to do better when a customer requests their pizza baked to their liking. read more

LOVED the Detroit style deep dish pizza from Jet's! Heard about this chain from my fiance who's from Michigan and we found on randomly driving down Sample and I decided I had to try it cause I'm a big fan of deep dish pizza. The staff inside was super friendly and answered a bunch of my questions as it was my first time in. I'm not a big pizza snob but I definitely pick and choose my 'fast food' style pizza restaurants and Jet's is my new favorite! It's priced very fairly as well. We got the Super Special which came with mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onions, black olives & green peppers. It was delicious! The sauce was tangy and smooth. The cheese was done just perfect enough for an Instagram-worthy cheese pull. The crust was nice and crispy but thick and fluffy. I can't believe I waited so long to try Jet's. I was extremely disappointed first time ordering from them and we had delivered. I normally do not write poor reviews, but this was just sad. I ordered a New York style pizza with sausage and extra sauce on pizza so would not be dry. Well, it came dry, and the sausages were just tossed on there and fell off when you picked up the slice. Ordered a bottle of dressing which they offered for additional charge. And then what was received was individual containers of the dressing which opened up during delivery and was all over the bag. The salad was OK but very little meat on it as I ordered the antipasto salad. And one package of dressing came with it, which doesn't even cover enough for everybody to use. The cheese bread was good. I was looking forward to the pizza since it had sesame seeds on the crust that I had picked. I am a New Yorker and just read really good reviews, but what I received was completely opposite. Overcooked pizza, and poorly packaged for delivery. As a food critic, this really hurt. read more

I have been craving deep dish pizza lately and this place is next to our apartment community. I was going to stop at another chain on my way home but was planning to cook at home. Unfortunately, I did not trust the meat from the freezer so I begged hubby to have deep dish, even though we get pizza from a different location the following day every week. I instructed hubby to order just regular deep dish pizza for me. He usually has pepperoni on his. I was busy doing work so I asked him to order and pick it up. Hubby ordered the four corners pizza. It included 4 slices of cheese and 4 slices of pepperoni. So hubby is not from NYC like me and did not know what Sicilian pizza was. This is what is is. This was not deep dish. FYI, I hate Sicilian pizza. I was so disappointed. Hubby thought it was okay but would not order it again. My ignorance got in the way and I did not look at the prices. I figured maybe $11. No! Hubby paid $19! Wtf?!?! Pies in NYC are not even that expensive and you cannot even compare in taste! The reviews looked good here and that is why I ventured. I don't do chains, much less pizza chains. As a matter of fact I don't eat Jersey Shore pizza, if it's not Italian from Italy I won't touch it. So for me to try Jets I had to have some serious convincing. Luna Lovegood(Samantha D.) has been posting delicious pics from Jets Fort Lauderdale location for months. So I messaged her about them and she vouched they were always delicious. So I decided just this one time I would break my divine law regarding chains. Their menu is huge with many options: Pizza, Sandwiches, Salads, Side's, Build you own, different kinds of crusts, different crust styles, wings & Breads, they even had "socialist" pizzas from California like Aloha, BBQ & Hawaiian. I ordered the small Detroit style pizza half & half with mushrooms and black olives. To tell you the truth I didn't know with which I was more interested in, the cute little fox "Shay" with excellent customer service skills, or getting the pizza. When I arrived home I grubbed the whole pizza in about 10 minutes. I wasn't disappointed at all, and that says a lot in light that I loathe Americanized pizza. I was craving a deep dish pizza (which I hadn't had in eons) and decided to try Jet's. Upon arriving I noticed it was like a fast food chain pizza place (I'm normally not a fan) but I was going to give them a try. The place was clean and had a handful of bistro tables to dine in. It has a retro pizza place decor with Italian flag colors & subway tile. The staff was friendly and helpful in clarifying the deep dish cuts & pricing. The food was cooked to order. I ordered the six piece deep dish meatball supreme specialty pizza. After waiting maybe 10-15 minutes my order was ready. I have to say I was initially disappointed as it wasn't the traditional deep dish pizza I was expecting. It wasn't deep it was more like the thickness of a Sicilian. However it still had the crispy edges one usually gets a deep dish for. The pizza was surprisingly ok. The sauce was ok. The toppings were meh. But what I really enjoyed was the crunchy crispy buttery like crust. This is really not my style of pizza choice but if I were to go back I would probably just order a plain cheese deep dish and forget the toppings cause the crust is where it's at. read more

3 1/2 stars I am not one to get pizza from chains. However, my kids and I had just come from the Baptist Health Urgent Care, it was late, and we were starving. It was fifteen minutes before Jets closed and we ordered a small deep dish pizza ($8.49/6 slices) and boneless wings ($6.99). It did not seem to phase or bother the staff that we arrived so near to closing time. A nice gentleman took our order, he left soon after and we waited about ten minutes to get our food. The place is more for take out/delivery but there is a small seating area. I did ask if it was okay if we stayed to eat and the server said it was fine. Our food, cooked to order, was fresh and hot. The issue is that it is chain pizza and it tasted like it. The "deep dish" crust is not your traditional dense pizza dough crust but a light puffy one. It is just not the traditional New York type of pizza that I enjoy. Jets does serve other types of pizza including hand tossed, thin crust, and NY Style. I do not know if I will ever get to try those styles because my kids absolutely loved the deep dish style. The wings were also the type of food kids love....deep fried in a very sweet barbecue sauce. So Jets isn't really my taste, but I am sure the boys will outnumber me and get me to return or order once more. read more

I've always seen jets show up on my ig feed but never had the chance to go due to distance. However, this time i so happen to be in the area and of course with a growling stomach so you know your boy had to pull up haha! I never have had a Detroit style pizza so i figured Jet's can paint an imagination of it for me in broward. Definitely had to go with the four corners; it's the obvious selection. The cheese sticks were awesome, they were airy, cheesy and made me feel fluff inside. What can i say, I'm a sucker for cheese sticks! Let's now move onto the star of the show, the reason you salavate; the four corners pizza party! Right away it's all about the crust crunch, you should always order the four corners to get that yummy experience. Aside from having three cheese sticks, i had one slice of each flavor was stuffed. The pizza it's self was heavy and made me feel heavy. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was delicious but the pepperoni was okay. I've been following this Jets pizza location for a while and i had been wanting to go! I finally made it and it did not disappoint. I ordered the buffalo ranch chicken pizza and it was so flavorful! Honestly, I believe this pizza has been my 2nd favorite pizza I've ever had, second only to Chicago deep dish. The crust was fluffy and full of layers, the pizza has just enough buffalo sauce to where it didn't overpower the pizza but still got the kick. Ordered the deep dish All Meaty specialty pizza. Toppings are: pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, and ground beef. Placed take-out order over the phone and it was ready on-time as promised (15mins). Very good pizza. I ordered the small. Comes with 6 slices. It was 13$ and change. I guess that's an ok price for a small with 5 toppings. If you order it plain, its 8$ and change. On Memorial day, a friend and i took advantage of a gift certificate I won but mainly convinced to go because of reviews and tantelizing photos from other Yelpers. Crunch! Glad I went as it was very satisfying on all levels. A good meal with kick ass flavors on multiple levels for the Detroit-Style Pizza and extremely pleased with their wings as well. Difficult to do both well at a single location! Lets get into the details. Ambience: First and most important this is a small place in a strip mall, with few chairs and tables in a tiled space. We walk up to the minimal order counter and placed our order with which seemed to be one person in the front, was able to see one more person working the back cooking area, and a third person who seemed to be the sole delivery driver. This was a place of no frills, no background music nor tv playing (although on the wall) and really hardly no other patrons there at the time we visited led to small talk while we waited. My friend pointed out had there been any music or tv, it would just echo off the walls and compete with conversation. Aside from conversation, the only distractions are your phone and looking outside. 3 Stars for a small takeout mainly place Service: The young lady taking our order was pleasant and helpful on our first visit. Order was placed, payment made but we all forgot the water bottles. My friend had to remind me, and in turn I had to go back to the counter to remind the young lady. We sat and waited to which waiting seem to last a very very long with much conversation between the both of us. We watched a delivery guy run an order and the lady at the counter take another order. While there did not seem much activity and hardly anyone inside sitting, I felt the pizza and wings took quite a long time. When it did, the guy working the back brought our order to our table. Very nice. In addition, it came as a boxed to-go item, which was quite ok (we did take home half our hefty order!) For the pizza, both Andrea P. and Sergio E. recommended the Detroit-Style deep dish pizza and I now add my thumbs up and is a must! Today's lunch was Half Bold Pepperoni and half All Meaty but wait there's more! Free crust flavorings! We chose the Turbo Crust consisting of a blend of butter+Garlic+Romano. Woah flavors galore! Multiple textures! Crunch and heft! When we opened the box, I felt like a man vs. food moment. Each piece was daunting, the flavors run rich and deep. My preference was definitively the Bold Pepperoni, cupped and clearly heated so high it crunched and crumbled apart in the mouth akin like a delicate chicharon! The eye curling Pepperoni flavor with that fresh natural cheese and tomato sauce gives way to the crunch of the bottom and sides revealing eventual butteryness, garlic, and romano cheese. Lemme tell ya, that romano crunched with deep cheese flavors developing akin to buying freshly made cheese crisps found at higher end grocery stores! 5 stars The All Meaty was good, flavors familiar of other multi-meat pizzas, but thank god it was elevated by the same surrounding flavors and textures. 3.5 stars Onto the wings, I agree with Sergio E. that their Jet's Wings Sweet Red Chili was the way to go! WIth 8pcs, I loved the sticky slathered sauce that tingled the senses. Blended well with the juicy meat inside. The size of the wings were on the small side but were very satisfying. Definitely do not wipe your sticky fingers as you'll just get messy eating more along with the pizza! I will say though these wings do fall behind the char dimension yet the sauce flavor and juicy wings match or beat the competition! Impressive from a Pizza Joint. 4 stars So, how did it work out in the end with value? Our eyes larger than our stomachs, The pizza was 12 slices and were able to each consume 3 pieces (call them blocks lol) of pizza, and I had 2 wings leftover to go. A good meal, satisfied and with two bottles of water worth the price of about $27 total before deductions (I lost track as my friend payed the remaining balance after my gift certificate). I think each of us was about $13.50 more or less? Hey I got two additional lunches since my friend was traveling the next day, unable to have his other 3 slices. That's 6 in total for me! That's a very happy lingering feeling of butter garlic romano turbo crust. Where's the gym now? 5 stars Average Score 4.2 stars on Flavor and Value Review Score 3.6 overall so I'm rounding up to 4! Went on yelp to try and find a delivery pizza on Fourth of July. Saw that there was a deal for $15 to buy that got you $30 and purchased went through the process of checking out and it would not allow me to use my code. I called the store And discussed this problem and they said yeah you have to come into the store to use this coupon even though there was nothing on the deal that stated that. When I said to the person on the phone that they just scammed me, he said Yep we've had this happen a bunch of times the owners name is Chris you need to take it up with him. So now I can't order from them with this deal and I just spent $15 with them I've never ordered from jets before and I'm almost willing to allow the $15 to go on used to not give them any more of my business do not go to this restaurant. read more

Seriously, I was getting ready for cardboard tasting pizza but boy was I wrong. This place proved me wrong. You don't taste plastic or cardboard here, it tastes fresh and it tastes real. There are a lot of options to choose from, square, round, thin, thick, you name it. I had the square deep dish and one thing that I found that made it super tasty was the addition of sesame seeds to the crust...yes it makes a difference. We ordered this bad boy online and it was ready to go, no questions asked or needed when I showed up less than 15 minutes later. It got home intact, hot and waiting to be devoured, which was the case. They are a chain but not as well known as the other guys in town. So far they seem to be doing everything right. read more
