Got a notice that stated that I had a discount coming my way and I was to proceed to payment where Jets with apply and remove the discount. Paid the invoice which charged me full price. After explaining to the store my issue, I was told that they couldn't refund the difference or apply the code over the phone. Lost my business !!!! read more

I went there and they were super busy after a snow storm....it was pretty hard because people just kept coming in to pick up orders. The Middletown Ohio location is new so everyone has been wanting to try it. I felt badly for the guys there...but they stayed steady and kept it together. My pizza was pretty good I got a crust I didn't like but that was my fault. I will definitely go back ~ I would say it's up there with Shaddocks the best place in town so I will definitely go between the two of them...I think Shaddocks will always be my favorite though! read more

I love the Detroit style pizza at Jet's and I would order that in a heartbeat but we decided to try their New York Style pizza as a test. I'm a New York pizza snob. I lived off two slices and a soda for dinner many nights when I lived in New York City and I've never forgotten the taste and the large slices, traditional or Sicilian. In my travels and places I've lived and the many places that purport to be New York pizza, I've only found that right taste in Pleasant Hill, CA. So my daughter and I ordered a large pizza. My half was the pepperoni and her half was Hawaiian. I think we both agreed it fell short of that distinct New York pizza taste and for slice size, it was a semi-large pizza sliced into six slices. I shouldn't expect a chain to know what a New York pizza should taste like so that's on me. Crust was not right, not enough cheese and the sauce was definitely not there. Next time I'll stay with the Detroit squares. read more

I'm not gunna lie here. I woke up on a Saturday completely hungover thanks to my dad's birthday celebration. It lasted most of the day so when dinner time came around, pizza was the first thing that came to mind. I was recently reminded of Jet's thanks to something on social media I believe, so I ordered a pizza and a liter of Pepsi for delivery. Let's be honest, there was no way I was going to pick it up. The order arrived on my porch under the estimated delivery time and that was certainly a plus. It was still piping hot and was also enormous for just one person. I had leftovers that lasted for days. Their ranch was delicious too. Detroit style pizza is one of my favorites and they definitely do it right. read more

I don't quite know whose fault my dinner was tonight. It was partially my own for thinking- after viewing the neon 'SLICES' sign on the place- I could just order a couple slices by phone and they'd be already ready for pickup. I should have cruised the website for photos. The young sounding woman on the phone took my order 2 slices of pepperoni and one slice of cheese pizza. I specifically asked what she had ready and was put on hold for a few minutes so she could find out. She gave me those two choices. $6 for 3 slices- not bad. Cue ten minutes plus later and no slices had been brought out. After about 15 min I get the food runner telling me fresh slices were just made (so the first person lied about anything being ready like I wanted in a hurry). I got a square shaped pizza- half cheese and half pepperoni. There were not three slices but four squares of thick Lil Caesars-like to-go crap. College daughter said this place was a reasonably priced fave. We ordered a few 8 corner pizzas for a group at our home. Every edge was crispy and delicious. If you want pizza to write home about thick crust, Adriaticos, Meisters, and other mom & pops are fantastic. But with coupons and limited time options, this place does a very nice job. It is not as good cold as the others as it gets soggy, so plan to reheat if you don't finish. Keep this in your quiver for filling, convenient, and standardized thick pie, but don't forget the non-chains. read more

Staff here are amazing . I came in few mins before close hoping for slices but they had just sold their last one. They still told me I could order off the menu despite barely closing time. I placed the order but they could not take the payment (something about system shutting down). The employee on shift, Janaeja, comped me for the order told me not to worry about it. I left a tip as I only had larger bills. I'm already in love with Jets detroit style pizza but this experience right here is great customer service and the gesture is much appreciated especially at these times where everyone seems to be st each others' necks. I know I know, support local! Shop small! Especially during COVID-19. But seriously I had to try this. I hear about Detroit style all the time and yes, it lives up to the hype. The crust is thick and fluffy with an amazing buttery crispy edge. I was excited to find out Jets offers flavored crusts so I went with the Turbo, sprinkled with fresh garlic and Romano cheese and glazed with butter. It was so delicious!!! Seriously how have I never tried this. And that pepperoni, so good. I was very satisfied with the cheese and pep ratio and the sauce was tasty as well. Jets pizza is new to Grandview. I have had nothing but great experiences thus far. Tonight I ordered "curbside pickup" because of the health scare right now. My order started off slow over the phone and I was patient as can be with the gentlemen on the phone. For some reason he couldn't grasp the half and half toppings. Lol Finally I got my order placed and arrived outside. I called the store to bring out my order and Melina I believe is what she said was her name. She took great care and apologized because the guy even rang me the wrong drinks. She was extremely personable and polite! At 6:45 I drive to jets for cancel my order so I can grab something else for my starving little kiddos. After a bunch of back in forth the manager said, "hey I'll refund you and your new order is already in the oven". At 7 pm, my wife calls to let me know the pizza finally arrived. I asked the manager the status of my new order and he said he was making it now (so the dude lied previously about it being in the oven). I told the manager the original order was just delivered, and he said he would still refund me... but he didn't and I got to eat a cold pizza, my family couldn't wait and had PB and Js for dinner. read more

I have never been so disappointed with Jets Pizza until 2/2/21. I ordered through DoorDash for my almost 2yr son and myself. We got a small pineapple and chicken deep dish. Upon receiving the pizza it was beyond edible and should have been sent to the trash. When I contacted the store in Grandview, 1242 W. Fifth Avenue to express my distaste I was advised by the shift manager Cody that there was nothing he can do and to contact DoorDash. I explained to him that this isn't the delivery services error and that they are cranking our burnt pizzas to the community. It's a lot of hassle to go through the app to talk with someone about the burnt pizza, to ask to be refunded because of the restaurants error and then to have to wait to order from another restaurant. My 2 year threw a fit which is why I'm even expressing my dissatisfaction. It was totally unacceptable. Cody had no care for how his staff are dusting Parmesan cheese on burnt pizza and being sent out through delivery services. Cody told me to go through DoorDash and that they would have to assist me with my burnt pizza that his location made. And then he insisted that I need to order from somewhere else. Which in turn told me not to ever from Jet's Pizza again. He didn't offer any apologies or future discounted pizza to be remade on their behalf if I was ever interested in ordering from their location again. He insisted on me ordering from a different restaurant. We love pizza! Thanks to Cody and the fact that he insisted I order from another restaurant. This review is for Jet's cauliflower crust pizza for any low carb'ers out there! I was craving for some greasy pizza and stumbled upon Jet's who has a fairly low-carb cauliflower crust option available. The crust is thin and crispy - just the way I like it. Be prepared to spend more than you're used to for a pizza. The size is for a personal pizza so it will only feed one person. I ordered Jets bread and picked it up. I drive all the way home and notice the pizza sauce is missing, which is the whole point of getting the jets bread- to dip it in the pizza sauce. I drove back to get it and not only did I not get an apology, one of the employees rolled her eyes at me. Not good customer service at all. I usually have great service here and have no issues with my orders. But this one bad experience really does not make me want to order from this location again. Terrible customer service. First and last time patronizing this place. Ordered pizza online at 6:53 pm, for pickup at 9:30 pm. Arrived at 9:25 pm and was told the pizza was just coming out of the oven and they just needed to cut and box it. Clerk disappeared behind the very high dividing wall, and I waited. After nearly 20 minutes, I finally had to shout over the wall to ask how much longer it would be. Another guy came around to the counter and asked for my name. He looked at the orders, turned around, and pulled my pizza out of the warming cabinet, where it had been sitting the entire time! I asked why I had been made to wait for 20 minutes when the pizza was ready and sitting right there. The clerk completely ignored me, turned and walked back behind the wall. No apology, no offer of compensation, nothing. Incidentally, while I was waiting, a man walked in to return a pizza that they had made with the wrong toppings, which had to be remade from scratch (again, with not even an apology). Shockingly bad and indifferent customer service. Stay away. read more
