Checking in with the computer stations was equally as easy as anywhere else in the airport as I've flown out more than you can shake a stick at. But I had a few questions. There were no other customers on line, so when I stepped upon the line and exclaimed "Who wants me?" all three in concert were very willing and verbally expressed this, in addition, two also signaled with accelerated hand gestures. Do you ever have the feeling that if you didn't have a moment to read the fine print upon a last minute booking, that your gonna get screwed somehow? I do, I always do -- but this expeience removed me from Planet Jaded for now. Three airline attendants were there for our comfort and saftey upon the midsized Boeing jet. They wheeled snacks and toted blankies and pillows, fielding continual questions while doing so, never stopping for a moment for themselves. We beat the Charleston Air Show to the air by sixteen minutes and arrived in Kennedy thirty minutes early..!! read more

Amazing experience! I took a flight from Charleston to FLL, as Dorian is off in the Atlantic churning. The pilot made a smooth flight considering there were thunderstorms surrounding us. The flight attendants were amazing! Very kind, attentive and they made sure we were comfortable. I took the first flight out you'd expect them to be tired just like us, no they were smiling and ready to assist. The plane had WIFI, and TV! I was able to watch the Today show while flying keeping up with the news and weather. I was also able to write and submit paperwork while flying. What a great experience. I fly JetBlue on average 6-7 times a year because of the non-stop flights to FLL from CHS. Their planes are comfortable, especially the even more space seats. Totally worth the upgrade! Unfortunately there's only one flight per day so your schedule has to be flexible with their time tables which are not always convenient. I don't travel enough to know if delays are the norm- but of the 11 times I traveled last year more than half were delayed. And 3 times the delay was because of the bathrooms. 2 flights we actually flew without a working toilet (one had no working toilets, we were delayed 2.5 hours that flight) and the other the rear toilet was inoperable (1.5 hour delay. We are not starting off to a good start, this mornings flight is delayed due to an error on the computer. Luckily, we are in the airport this time. So frustrating! Hope they check their planes better in the future! read more

This is my very first flight with this company. The lady (LUCIA) at the ticketing counter in Charleston,SC deserves a raise and extra vacation days. She went above and beyond to help me with my luggage. I'm dropped my neck pillow, she left the counter and helped me but grabbing the pillow and one of my bags. She tried to help make my pockets hurt less by waiting on me to shuffle some things around in my bags to avoid the $150 baggage fee for having a bag over 50lbs. I struggled to juggle my bags for about 15 mins and she patiently waited. She was genuinely nice and personable. She made my experience flying with a new airline memorable in the near way. What a wonderful airlines! The staff is so super nice, Lucia stands out with her care and attention to detail such as my birthday. She even noticed I was sad on what should've been a wonderful day and she came around the counter hugged me and promised to pray for me and for a positive result to what had me stressed. No matter where you sit the seats are spacious and roomy. Even more room gives you even more leg space, which is super great even for the nominal up charge. This airline is so underrated. They have fair prices, roomy seats, free WiFi, free inflight live tv, complimentary snack and drink service (they give you the whole can), and friendly staff. Jetblue doesn't overbook their flights and when their flights are full they offer complimentary bag check for anyone willing to give up their carryon. I wish jetblue serviced my local airport, I would fly exclusively Jetblue if that were the case. read more

The 3rd time in 3 weeks a Jet Blue flight has been cancelled. The first out of FLL (causing me to miss an international connection) , the second out of JFK and the third out of Charleston. All different airports, the only common denominator was Jet Blue. 1 was due to inclement weather (understandable) but then they changed my flight to the next day, did not have any hotel vouchers and wanted me to stay in the airport overnight to wait for the next flight. The 2nd flight was cancelled for no reason and I was rerouted to a different airport (Miami instead of FLL) and they compensated me $25. This covered 1/3 of my Uber ride. The 3rd they canceled my flight yet again for no reason, and the alternative is a 7 and a half hour flight instead of the 1 1/2 hr direct flight I was supposed to be on. It also leaves 12 hours later. All in all it's been multiple disappointing flights. read more

I flew JetBlue for the first time for a round trip flight from Denver-Boston and back. Normally I LOATHE flying because it's just such a pain (but easier than driving), but I was pleasantly surprised by JetBlue! Staff was courteous, friendly, and prompt. Our flight was full, so they checked carry-on's for people for free at the gate, which was great. The provide the whole can, which is a big deal, because United always asks like I asked them for an organ donation when I request the whole can. The snacks are great and they offer these incredibly GF popcorn triangles, which are so good! They also have movies, music, and TV available in the each seat, as well as headphones, blankets, and pillows available for purchase. They also have a little more legroom in the economy seats than other airlines. I'm not tall, only 5'6", but even for me, those few extra inches make a difference. There's only two reasons I'm not giving them 5 stars: One is that the Fly-Fi, the inflight wifi, doesn't always work. It's free, which is great, but if you're flying out of the US airspace, you won't have a connection, which I did not know until my return trip when I was trying to do work and could not. Two is that they are not available everywhere. In Colorado they only fly out of Denver, but I am in Colorado Springs. It's more of a pain for me to drive up to Denver when I live 15 minutes from the airport here. But they're worth the drive if the price is right! read more

Although I was on a smaller plane, I didn't feel at all cramped. My flight was delayed due to a water issue with the restroom. Frozen water stuck in the pipes. Caused an hour delay, but with as many times as the restroom was used on this short 2 hour flight, it was definitely needed. Leg room great. Width of seats was a bit small but not uncomfortable touching the person next to you. Snacks and service top notch. Definitely recommend. read more

When I first started flying many moons ago, I flew Delta, followed by US Airways and have been a JetBlue member for at least 8 years. This review will be focused on the overall flight experience, which has been excellent. I have only experienced one delay due to mechanical issue with the aircraft. The delay was long, and I arrived home around 2:00 a.m. instead of 11:00 p.m. the prior night but they provided everyone on the flight with a credit to their credit bank, they also provided drinks/snacks to those delayed due to the mechanical issues. Other than that, I have had great experiences. I am 5'7" and while they offer more spacious seats for an upgraded fee. I have not had the need to upgrade as the standard seating is more than enough space for me at my height and I consider myself to be taller than the average woman. They offer free wifi internet while in flight which I love, because this keeps me in touch with my family and friends via imessages or social media. I am a health fanatic so I was overly excited when I saw that they offer Terra Beets and Sweets chips :) Quick note on the check in process: Overall checking in my luggage has been a pretty smooth process (ALL DEPENDING) on where I am checking in. I live in SC, the process and the check in agents have been very courteous and polite. I am from NY....leaving NY to check in the agents are not as courteous. I have not had any issues with any other state, other than NY. read more

Terrible flight attendant Cheryl (out of New Jersey) on the flight from Charleston to DCA #144 on 05/25 at 6:00 am was the most rude flight attendant we have ever had. We fly a lot but never had used Jet Blue. The airplane was nice and I loved the TVs and the leg room BUT Cheryl was a disaster and made us never want to use Jet Blue again. We were in the front seats and were the last few to get on. Our over head bin was some how taken already (why they would not use the bins over the assigned seats like normal is just crazy) and she said we had to put out carry ons, including our personal items which also included my purse, in the over head bins in the back of the plane (who would put their purse in the back of the plane with other people having easy access to it?!) or check both the carry on and the personal item.. my purse. We were so unhappy at the situation but to make matter worse, she told my husband that she wasn't expecting his rude attitude this early in the morning. Her attitude was soooo bad but we have to bite our tongues so we don't get in trouble. She just talked to us however she wanted. I swear... if it wasnt for the AMAZING flight attendant on the way back to Charleston flight 889, Yamillette, we would have never ever flown Jetblue again. EVER!!! Yamillette made our experience a million times better. She was sweet, kind and actually made us feel wonderful about the situation on the previous flight. (she needs her own review) So thanks to her will will try Jetblue one more time just to see but the 2 star review sticks for now. read more

Since moving from DC I have been flying JetBlue every weekend first couple of times were great but my last experience was not only embarrassing but out right rude at 62 and I hope I look younger to the appellations in to back operations they announce the people that needed help to get on because I didn't bring my cane with me that day they refused be to get on then when I finally got on the move my bag five seats back so I'm thinking wow this is gonna be interesting to get off by chance I was sitting next to a gentleman that seemed older than me I had a window which is what I wanted he had an aisle I suggested to him what he like the window and he loved it I sat in the aisle plane took off TVs came out about 10 minutes late and I find out my TV doesn't work no notice on it no signs no nothing then I asked if I could move to the city or vacant and I was told those were higher price sheets for paying customers were number one I am a pain customer and I should be afforded the luxury is that everybody gets so I'll be flying again on Friday 545 in the morning I hope I don't have the same staff think the names was rude rude and Ruger and I look forward to flying the mini times in the future I just hope that there would be some consistency not so strong realize that if there's a problem they have mini always on that plane to resolve them but for Last week coming home they made it miserable keep up the good work or you can I get rid of the good people that don't want to keep up the good work signed I like JetBlue read more

My flight experience has always been very good if not exceptional when flying with JetBlue. I recently bought a ticket for our son to fly back to Maryland. Our area had a snow and ice storm that shut down our local airport. JetBlue had to cancel his flight and was unable to give us a flight that matched his need. I emailed them with this concern and asked for a refund. They responded immediately and also refunded us. I have never had this experience with any other airline. It was such a fantastic experience in customer service. I highly recommend JetBlue they are an excellent airline and they care about their customers. read more

After having a nightmare experience with American Airlines in Boston a week ago (read that review if you wish!), JetBlue customer service at the Charleston International Airport was such a breath of fresh air. I booked the tickets home from our honeymoon under my new married name, but failed to change my name/my license prior to my flight. Lynsey, the representative who assisted us today, was kind, respectful, patient, informative, fair...I could go on, but really she was just everything customer service should be and more. I felt bad monopolizing her time over a mistake that was mostly mine, but she never for one second made me feel like I was in the wrong. If anything, she spent 25+ minutes on the phone working things out so I wouldn't have to pay any fees for the name change. On top of all of that, she changed our seats so my husband and I could be seated next to each other, moved us closer to the front of the plane, and waived the $20 fee to check my husband's bag when she realized he was a veteran, and when he said thank you she said "No. Thank YOU". If we weren't before, we will always be loyal customers to JetBlue now because of her. read more
