I truly enjoyed my flight on Breeze Airways. It was extremely smooth check-in process and very good for a one hour flight from Charleston to Orlando. I likely would not take a flight that was longer than two hours because there are no complimentary in-flight snacks and you have to pay for soda. But it saved me an 6-8 hour drive, so I was grateful for it! read more

If I can rate them as a 0 I would! Very unorganized and they will give you the run around. Flight kept getting delayed and they gave us the options to either get a full refund or to book a later flight. When we chose the option to get a refund they then told us the full refund would have to be credited to another flight. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK with them just because they are the cheapest flight! Staff was wonderful. Very easy check in . We got to the airport 2 hours early and it only took 10 minutes to be at the gate. Plane was nice and clean. We sat in the row in front of the emergency exit. I didn't know our chairs didn't recline until we were mid flight and I saw the sticker . Our flight attendants for both flights were great and very helpful. All 3 of them smiling while working . I needed an extender coming back due to stomach stitches and it was given to me by Lane. Very sweet girl . Pilots greeted us while leaving the plane. I thought that was nice. I will fly breeze again! read more

I flew breeze from Charleston, SC to Virginia. They lost my bags. I went on a Sunday had a business meeting on Monday and had to leave on Tuesday. I had my suit and all my work paraphernalia in my bag and they lost Iit. The WORST thing about breeze is they don't have any live Customer Service agents to speak to - the only way you can communicate with someone there is via text message and on a Sunday night trying to get an agent to text back with you is literally impossible. I didn't hear from them until over a week later asking me about my bag!! . this is the very WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE provided, and in a world where it is important, this airline is gonna go downhill, if it hasn't already- do not fly breeze ! it's cheap for a reason!!!!. read more

I'm going to preface my whole review up front with this: I fully acknowledge that weather played a role in this debacle-also true, febreeze (as I call them) COULD have and SHOULD have planned ahead for this very foreseeable event. Chantal, a virtually stalled named Storm, loomed large off the coast of the Carolinas but not expected to become a hurricane. I get notified by febreeze the day before flying that there's a delay but NOT weather related-the plane has maintenance issues-no problem on my end, please make this right, as many just cancelled their reservations but I'm willing to be slightly inconvenienced-first class upgrade, thank you febreeze. Get a text at approximately 2 in the morning, day of, saying to expect further delays and sure enough they push it back another two hours-so I show up to the airport with THAT time in mind and get expeditiously through security two hours ahead of time-irritated but, no issues. Buried the lead purposely-the reason I'm traveling is to go spread my fathers cremains in another region of the country. 0 room for error in my itinerary so I need to thread this needle and hoping against all hope that febreeze doesn't mess this up, as this is my first time flying with them. I was about to be very disappointed. I wait patiently in the terminal as time ticks by and anxiety builds bc of the weather. Then, another delay-ugh what is the problem now? The plane is literally at the gate-what's the hold up? The pilots are stuck in atlanta waiting to get their hides to my location bc of the weather even though there's 0 weather there. Am I being punked? I feel like a frog in slowly rising temps at this point... The gate attendant, (who I will not name now but probably will after febreeze fires back at this review) has no answers bc they don't tell him anything apparently (which I believe). He refers me to a qr code but not before being rude, talking over me and generally being a dink (without the n). I go to the app and 'text support' who was also a 'dink' and said there was nothing he could do when I asked for a refund due to this ever increasing inconvenience. I'm adding up when imma get where I'm going AND have a 2 hour drive after that and realizing I'm going to get to point C at about 0130! If Febreeze had planned ahead and either got the pilots on a different plane to get to my location OR put us on a different airline two hours ago, to get us to point B, knowing full well they weren't going to get their pilots to me and fellow passengers at a reasonable time. They were/are VERY THIRSTY so they controlled this debacle to the bitterest of ends... Along with the rolling boiling water, this frogs blood is also beginning to boil-The hapless and useless gate, resident mushroom, SUPERVISOR who they keep in the dark and feed you know what, is pinging bc the pressure is building. I ask for an update based on the current circumstances and he spits out the same drivel that basically he was just a mushroom so I revealed my situation to which he gave 0 Fs and just persisted in talking over me, while saying nothing, so I walked away while he was still talking to which I turned around and stated that I was done talking to him and he finally stopped yapping. Boarded the plane at 8:30 (when we were supposed to taking off) flight crew hurried to get first class taken care of BUT guess what? Complimentary snacks and drinks for them but no one else, including me, bc I was not originally ticketed for first class-just icing on the cake and my blood boiled over-I told the flight attendants that this is officially the first and LAST time I travel this airline-in perfect Febreeze fashion, the male flight attendant I refer to as Provo Joe Smith smiled, made eye contact with me and said 'ok, good'-to which I said, I'm so glad we have accepted each others terms! We FINALLY pull away from the gate at 9:15-arrived two hours and change later, 0 crew visible including the pilots on disembarkation. Sure enough, I don't get to point C until 0130 all bc of all the observably avoidable delays on febreezes part. I can't overstate how much contempt I have for this toy airline and how much I wish they would cease to exist as a company bc it is THE WORST. If I could give a 0 star rating I would-all around s$&! show of an airline-BUYER BEWARE! read more

You can, however, buy an upgrade, and that'll come with better seats and complimentary snacks! Right now, it is only at select airports. But hopefully as they continue to gain exposure and more people utilize Breeze, they will expand to other main cities and provide more services, like WiFi, which they do not have right now. read more

Terrible communication. Delayed flight going to destination and coming home. There was a delay with little to now communication. A while later then the announcement came from Breeze via text. I don't think there is much transparency with their customers. No compensation offered. Flew first class and was charged for snacks and beverages. Overall reviews are terrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could I had a small bag that could have easily fit under my seat but they said I would have to put it in the overhead bins and that there was a seventy five dollar charge for that!!! Nope. I tried. I flew out one way on another airline, and wanted to fly back on Breeze to try it out. Great price with upgrades for legroom. 18 hours before the flight departs, I get a text message at 3am (luckily it woke me up) letting me know that my flight was cancelled and bumped due to maintenance issues. The email that followed said that it was cancelled due to impending weather. The weather they're talking about wasn't forecast to arrive until well after we had departed and headed in the opposite direction. I could not get a rebooking on Breeze for the same day, and my flight was bumped to the next day, but by then it would've been too late. I cancelled my flight and am awaiting a refund, which may or may not occur properly. I was able to book a flight with Delta, which left at roughly the same time as the Breeze airline was supposed to, with no issues related to weather. read more

My first time to fly from Phoenix to Charleston and was a great experience. Landing was a little tough but we were having terrible weather with major storms. Safe and sound and felt I had more leg room than most flights as well as space under seats. Plane was about 1/2 full. I fly back to Phoenix on Saturday and will see how that goes read more

During our trip to Vegas as a family of 4, our luggage got delayed. We were told when we landed to go buy what we need and we will be reimbursed. We had nothing (not even a carry on), everything was in our checked luggage. We ended up not having our bags for our first day and night, second day and night, and received our bags in the evening of our 3rd night. After a month as trying to get reimbursed, we were told that they will only do $200 because they felt that was reasonable. We submitted every receipt and every transaction as proof of what we bought and offered to call and go over why it was necessary, but was told that phone calls were not a service that they offer. They did increase it to $275, however, for a family of 4, in a city like Vegas, that didn't come close to being able to afford us a clean outfit for each person for each day we didn't have our bag. I'm not sure if we were expected to put on our damp, sweaty clothes from the day before. I've asked multiple times for them to tell me what was unnecessary, or what they consider hygienic by their standard, but keep getting the respond "we will not change our offer". I still would like an understanding of how they can decide on that amount. At $275, for 4 people, for 3 clean outfits, that allows us just under $23 to find clean clothes, and zero allowance for items such as socks, underwear, sleepwear, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo.... That is just about impossible. Customer service has been terrible. I've had Aurora the bag manager, and after 5 days of asking for answers, haven't gotten an answer to a single question of their expectations or standards. We did our best to not take advantage of this situation, and not let it ruin our trip. We went to Walmart for a lot of things, tried to go to target but they did not have a kids section, and tried to buy as much as possible on clearance. We ended spending about $550 in all for the amount of time we didn't have our bags. Being told that is an unreasonable amount for 4 people for 2 and a half days and 2 nights is frustrating and infuriating. read more

They broke our hardcase luggage bag and then told us to locate a breeze agent in the airport to report it and file a claim. Joke was on us, because we never found one single Breeze agent in the New Orleans airport!!! Contacted all three platforms for communication fb, text, and email! Took hours to get a response, then they told my father because it was an hour after with deplaned there was nothing they could do about it even though for that hour we were waiting for them to contact us back! Fast forward the lied and said they would contact my dad again about his bag never did and never responded to messages about it afterwards. Fast forward again it's time to go home back to Charleston and we wake up that morning to several flight delay messages. Our original flight was at 1 we didn't get back to Charleston until 1am!!! We we're stranded in the airport with three children and everything in the airport had closed!!! To add to it the vending machines were not working so we couldn't get the kids anything to hold them over!!! Contact breeze and they basically gave us the big "F U"!!! They left us with no options and then told us if they canceled we would be stuck in New Orleans until Wednesday , mind this is without our money refunded because they were willing to fly us out on Wednesday if need be!!! So here we are 4 days later battling them over damaged luggage and a refund that is surely due!!! At this point our next step is to contact an attorney and to have their fraudulent business practices investigated!!! HORRIBLE airline. I booked two trips with Breeze. Breeze contacted me a month prior to one of the trips notifying me the direct flight from Charleston to LA was changed to have 2 different layovers and departing at midnight instead of 1100. I cancelled this trip. I am now sitting at the airport 3 delay notifications into my trip with no staff around. This flight is so far over 2 hours delayed. The flight is going to be delayed longer since it is supposed to take off in 40 minutes, and still no gate staff to check in passengers. Not worth the few dollars saved to use this airline!!! I booked a flight from Charleston to Westchester, NY returning on Christmas night. They sent a schedule change a couple days ago.. but it was a "date" change from Christmas night to Christmas Eve night! Well, that kind of messes up the whole celebration and the need to visit family for Christmas! The flight did not seem to have been cancelled, only our schedule had been changed. The only other flights were 4 days later! After 10 min of "chatting" and going in circles and never giving me a reason other than "schedules change", they threatened me with blocking me permanently from their chat! It's been a couple months and Breeze still will not refund the proper amounts they promised at the gate when they cancelled my flight. My suggestion...if you dare take a chance on flying Breeze or your flight starts getting delayed or cancelled...start collecting names and contact information for everyone on your flight. Do NOT try to fly Breeze Airways. Our foolish selves were like it's a new airline, it seems nice, let's do it. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and booked a flight to Columbus two months ago. I get a generic email notice that our flights were changed last night (literally the email has no info on our specific flight) and I find out this morning that our flights to Columbus set for Thursday at 7:15pm were changed to Friday at 2:50pm. Meaning we wouldn't make it in time for the wedding we're attending on Friday. Guess who also doesn't have a customer service line to call? Yup. You can email them, text them, or Facebook message them...but they're like really busy right now because of a high volume of contacts (I WONDER WHY). I don't like calling generally but this was a I-need-to-speak-to-a-person-ASAP situation. Luckily someone responded to my sad, desperate Facebook message--but, they can't fly us to Columbus earlier than Friday but they could fly us to Akron and we can like drive ourselves to Columbus...but don't expect them to pay for that drive though. Jokes. They did this literally two days before our flight. Who does that? It was so stressful trying to get my money back from them while at the same time hunt down an affordable flight for Thursday with another airline. So yeah, save yourself the hassle. Don't fly Breeze. I do not recommend this airline if you have to check in your luggage. I've flown them before with a carry on and checked luggage and had no issue. However, I recently flew with them on 6/27/23 and they informed me my luggage was accidentally at the CHS airport. It is almost impossible to reach a human or otherwise to get a status on where my luggage is, especially once I left the airport. I've been texting them on FB Messenger and their text number and have yet to receive a reply. I'm now stuck on vacation waiting on a call or text and praying that my expensive items in that bag have not been tampered with. Needless to say, I will NEVER, EVER again fly with this airline.
