We had a horrible experience with Jetblue recently in our first time attempting to fly with them. It was a full plane and we boarded on time. Plane started to move from the gate only to then stop and sit for a while. After some time we were told we had to head back to the gate for a maintenance sign off. Once we got to gate we were told plane had to be shut down and no AC but shouldn't be long. Maintenance was fixed and signed off and then we were told we were waiting to be refueled. Then told waiting for the clear to go. After 3 hours of being stuck on the plane we were then told we had to exit the plane and take our items with no explanation. All while the phone app kept sending alerts extending departure time but no communication from actual staff. We were then finally told that crew had hit max flight hours and that they will let us know when they can get a crew in to fly the plane. Shortly after the app alerts us and a 12:30 PM departure turned to a midnight departure causing us to miss our connecting flight. Our connection wasn't leaving till 8pm and if we were communicated appropriately and not have had to sit on a plane for 3 hours we could have made attempts to adjust however the chaos off the planes caused a huge line and the airport only had 1 person working the desk. I stood in line for over 4 hours trying to salvage our international trip. While standing in line I called customer service and was told that there were no flights/seats available to get us to Dublin for the next 3 days. I even suggested other airports and was told they could not approve airports outside the original itinerary despite seats showing available. By the time I got to the desk at the airport, although they were able to authorize a change in airport to help salvage the trip, seats were no longer available. We were at the airport from 10am to 8pm trying desperately to salvage the trip and were patiently relying on staff to help but were left with canceled flights and no resolution. Not only do you treat your customers horrible but you treat your staff poorly as well. The airport desk was ran majority of time by 1 person. 1 person to handle a full flight of canceled flights, refunds and changes. That 1 person worked 6 hours past her scheduled time with no lunch break and no bathroom break. 1 person came to help for 1 hour and he would only handle domestic flights. Despite us just needing to get to JFK to catch a 8pm flight to Dublin he refused to help me because my flight from start to finish is international and he kept skipping over me. Have 1 person work the desk majority of the time is why the line last so long. We left at 8pm defeated having not ate or drank, with a child and standing in line with no accommodation and there were still people in line behind us. Incredibly disappointed and a horrible first impression that has left us with a ruined trip but also feeling so beat up. I will never attempt to fly with this airline if this is how they treat their customers and employees and will never recommend them. read more

These are big spacious planes. Large windows that you can darken with the touch of a button. It like polarized glasses that you control. The economy section isn't a cattle call. The seats are comfortable with adjustable head rests and a reclining feature where the bottom seat cushion slides slightly forward when you lean back. You can actually sleep comfortably in it. Each seat has a video screen with your choice of movies, games, music, etc. You won't be bored. They serve you some kind of food or snack with drinks about every two hours. You won't go hungry. Note, it is English styled food, so it may be a bit of an adjustment. The flight crew is very professional and the flight was smooth. Ten hours on a plane and no complaints.
