Did my commercial multi add-on at A-Cent in their gorgeous PA34-200T from October 2019 to January 2020. After a little mx hiccup with the aircraft before the checkride, Donnell and her team managed to get everything straight for the big day. Ive got to become friends with everyone and knowing John Nayfack from NAS Jacksonville in 2007, I recommend any flight training with this school. **It was good seeing you guys last week after I got back from my 7 month deployment.**

Booked a birthday party! Got 12 kids all a flight and pizza and drinks and activities and photos all for just a little more than the game truck would have cost and it was an incredible experience the 10yr old boys will remember a lifetime! I had some really happy kids at the end of this party! A huge success and WELL worth the money. The pilot was knowledgeable and friendly, they had a photographer and party coordinator. All around epic experience I highly recommend!

Immediately greeted, we had a morning flight and they were not busy at all. My hubs didn't know how I'd like it so we only took the beach flight which was $50/person and lasted about 5 minutes in the air. You check in and then when they are ready for the flight, they drive you over to the flight pad area. They offer to take your picture in front of the helicopter which of course I opted YES! They then go over safety information while the pilot checks the helicopter for fluids and such. We put on our life vests and got in! Pilot was very friendly and explained stuff the entire time. My daughter was happy since she got to sit in the front. We felt very safe while flying and will definitely be back!! Highly recommend if you're thinking about doing this. But I'd pay to be in flight longer next time. Definitely want to take the tour of the entire St. Augustine area.

Both of the employees there were very friendly and extremely nice. Of course getting a beautiful sunset is a gamble because you never know how the weather will be, but I would have to say it was one of the best sunsets I've seen. The duration of the flight was a perfect amount of time. Flies over the ocean, the St Augustine pier, around the lighthouse, intercostal and by the fort. On our trip we were lucky enough to see dolphins also. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! It's a blast!!! I would go again too.

I started flying here last year to earn my private pilot license. A few months ago, I was on a solo…read moreflight and had a hard landing that resulted in damage to the plane. It affected my confidence as a pilot and also I had a lot of (unnecessary) financial stress caused by the school and the owner Seth. If you are a new pilot seeking guidance and support, this is not the school to go to! In terms of their actual flight training, I can look back and realize that their instruction was very lackluster. Safety was not a top priority, rather it felt like everyone at the school was there to socialize. Now that I have experience at a new school, I can reflect on policies/procedures that were not implemented at JBA. One of the biggest things being that I didn't have an official personal weather minimums on paper. Frankly, I was a new pilot and didn't know how important this is for solo flights, but JBA instructors failed to teach me this. In fact, the morning before the flight where I had my hard landing, I had texted my instructor expressing concern about the weather/winds and was told I "would be fine". I was also taught to "salvage" my landings when I bounced, and there wasn't a strong emphasis on go arounds. This nonchalant attitude was pretty standard at JBA, which is dangerous when operating an aircraft (especially a student). Additionally, the financial turmoil that JBA and specifically the owner of the school, Seth, caused me was one of the worst parts of this experience. I had the insurance that the school REQUIRED me to have, so I thought that everything would be okay with the school when I had to use said insurance. I was very wrong because Seth came after me personally and sent me a bill for $81,000. He kept calling/texting my personal number even though I made it clear that I wanted everything to be handled with the agent assigned to my case through email. He also kept approaching me at the gym where I regularly go to (and he occasionally goes to) and tried to talk to me about personal matters in a very public setting. Seth's unethical handling of the aircraft damage claim and questionable billing was very disappointing. My conclusion for JBA is that its flight program is severely inadequate and does not promote safety. My experience is proof of that, and Seth's conduct and attitude further confirm my exceedingly low opinion of his operation.

This was a ton of great tasting good for the price. The pulled pork was flavorful with a light smokey flavor. Coleslaw was good with a nice slight vinegar bite. Their sauces on the tables in the covered outdoor eating area are awesome! Couldn't pick my favorite between the mustard, spicy vinegar or sweet thick BBQ sauce. They also offer helicopter rides which we saw some people goin on but we didn't have time. Overall, the food was great and a nice lunch spot to grab a bite and sit outside. Everything was wonderful and we have enough for a second (and possibly third) meal. Our favorites were the chicken, beans and their sweet sauce (Yum!). You can either take it to go or eat at their picnic tables that are under an awning. It is definitely worth visiting for handmade BBQ done right.
