There are personal monitors in the backs of every headrest and audio outlets that allow you to plug in your headphones to listen to the monitor with audio and visual controls on the armrest. Their customer service is great. No complaints at all. You can check in one bag for free and have a carry on. With all the leg room, storing bags under the seat is realistic better than the overhead compartment. You won't be disappointed if you fly this airline. read more

Dca crew in Puerto Rico flight was horrible. Bough head phones $8 and no volume worked at my seat. Reported it to stewardess and she couldn't even get a sentence out of her mouth. He shrugged her shoulder like too bad so sad. Offer 0 customer service as it is her job. Jessica was the woman's name. She then says, "if it's not working the usual way then idk what to tell you." As if plugging the headphones I bought into the connection was wrong. The worst- same for TSA and airport information. We arrived after a 5 hr delay at STT to an additional 12 hour delay in which jet blue offered no help. The app told us to go to the jet blue gates- the gates told us to go to information. We waited on the information line for 3 hours- to them closing and leaving us without help. We left to stay in the only available local hotel (yuck) to come back at 2 am to find out we couldn't keep our bags bc we left with our duty free items. If information hadn't closed on us maybe we would have known. Jet blue blames TSA- TSA has a super fragile supervisor who apparently had enough of me (his words) who said it's not their problem. This airport staff really needs training in communication and customer service. read more

Pretty awful service with jet blue. Perhaps unsurprisingly everything is a fee despite COVID. Even after paying $35 a bag to check bags, we had to pay another $3/ bag fee to have them weighed and checked?! Ridiculous. We also arrived to the airport very early to drop our bags off. The website clearly reads bags will not be accepted more than 6 hours before your flight. When we arrived, we had to wait an hour to check our bags as personel claimed the policy was 4 hours before the flight. My partner and I also couldn't get adjacent seats despite booking our tickets 6 months ago. Why is it that you can't select your seat until 24 hours before and then its a mad rush to get a seat? Exit aisle rows are now a $60 surcharge for more legroom. As with so many airlines everything is knickle and dimed. I certainly will avoid any future flights with this airline. read more

4 hr delay on our flight to St Maarten. No notification prior, "we are sorry" wont get us on our boat in time. We have not used Jet Blue before, dont think we will be using them again. Politely unreliable is no way to run an airline and it won't bring back our trip of a lifetime. We recently flew jet blue from San Juan to New York. The plane was in awful condition. I wish I had taken pictures. The bathroom had urine stains that covered most of the toilet. The flooring looked like it had been cleaned, never. The plane smelled of urine. There is no Wi-Fi coverage that they proudly advertise when booking. Both flight from San Juan to NY and also our leg from NY to Seattle had Wi-Fi issues. Which leads me to believe it doesn't really exist. The plane from San Juan did not have AC while on the tarmac. The engine had a mechanical issue. But they boarded everyone early and while we sat there hot and sweating and as they were closing the doors, the pilot announced that once we are in the air the AC will be working. They had to manually start the engines. There were stains and spills on the seats and many headset plug ins did not work. So many passengers had neither Wi-Fi or any way to listen to music or a video. I'm not sure how they get away with this. It was truly the most disgusting plane I have ever been on. The the lack of care given to the inside I wonder about the care to the rest of the plane. I'm not sure I will ever fly Jet Blue again. read more

I use to feel good when traveling on JetBlue and Delta. After yesterday's experience, JetBlue lost a lot of points. Their delayed flight (over an hour +) made me and family of six (4 of which are small girls) missed our connecting flight so now we are stuck in PR for 2 days. We missed a wedding last night and 4 appointments today and one tomorrow. The initial treatment received from the customer representative in PR was unacceptable! 40 minutes after arriving in PR is when we dealt with a representative. We were told by the representative in Orlando not to worry because there are many people on our flight with connecting flights and they should hold the plane just for the few minutes for us to get on (that was a lie because the representatives in PR said they aren't allowed to hold flights). When we arrived in PR, I over heard a family in front of being told by the gate representative what her new flight was they too missed the connecting flight we were on. So I asked him what was our new flight and was told to go speak to his associate that was standing next to him. We waited 23 minutes for that the to tell us we need to talk to a supervisor outside. To make a long story short (my full details were too much for this review so I had to cut down- see my full experience on Facebook). We were sent to a crappy hotel for one night (had to go back for 2nd voucher because only 4 people/room). Spoke to a rep that night in the phone which gave us $200/person for what we had been through (keep in mind this was up to this point- there is more inconvenience to follow). Got up and went to ticket counter the next morning at 9:45am. While passing the other airlines I inquired about availability on their flights and found out that the same airline that I missed my connecting flight with the day before (that was booked by JetBlue) had an 8:25am flight with plenty of space for my family of 6. The JetBlue rep from the day before lied about checking them for availability!! Was told by the rep that gave us the voucher if I found another flight they would refund us the cost of the flight so we can put towards other purchase. I found another airline leaving at 12:45pm but when I went to JetBlue counter I was told that if I canceled the flight they had for me on Sunday that I won't get back anything. In addition, they weren't paying for my second night in the hotel, Ben though I. Told them the re that gave me the voucher said to come back the next day for the voucher since she could if only print one day hotel voucher at that time. Wasn't satisfied so I call customer service (lady was nice but booked us for a 1:52pm flight. When we arrived to the counter of that airline found out it was for next month July 30 (honest mistake- but didn't help the situation). Now the "circumstances changed". And they were now willing to pay for me to go on another flight (with me paying first and then get reimbursed). 2 hours 2 late, the only plane that had room left at 12:30pm. With no flights available on any other airline I had no choice but to pay for my family to stay in a hotel the second night and wait to arrive on the Sunday. JetBlue fells that their measly $200/person should suffice. If the first supervisor gave us that for what we went through the first day, how should I be okay with that for all the other trouble. I was very clear with that rep that I didn't want to accept the $200 because then anyone else reviewing our case will think that I was ok with that and she told me that it won't be the case because after their review group revisits our case we can and could get back more. Well the first thing I was told by both reps today is that we were already compensated for our hassle. These airlines are the dishonest. JetBlue Airlines really lost all their points with me!!!!!! read more

Worst experience ever! If you want to ruin your vacation go thru Jet Blue. They canceled my flight without notice, at the airport Jet Blue after 40 minutes at the counter the very slow agent transferred me to another flight far from my destination with no enough time to go thru the line and aboard the airplane, after running like crazy I arrived to the gate 3 minutes late and they didn't open the airplane doors for me and I had to wait and see how the airplane left the gate without us. It has been the most upsetting and frustrating two hour wait on the phone. Jet Blue sent me various emails stating our flight has been delayed but with nonspecific issue. We have a connecting flight in Orlando and I can't get a representative on the phone. They said the wait over the phone was an hour and 40 mins I am still on hold after 2 hours. Our flight was scheduled for April 26 at 6:01 then there was a delay moved the flight to 8:33am arriving to Orlando at 11:33 our connecting flight to Austin is at 1:13 and still I have no one to answer my questions as to why I haven't received an email to check in. We are a family of four and this is extremely frustrating and to not be able to speak to someone to help is terrible. It's so upsetting. I can't afford to stay another night at the airport or wait 15 hours to arrive to Austin on the 27th this is insane. Someone needs to reach out to me immediately. i had purchased my family and i a flight to puerto rico for the first time with this airline a month in advanced the day of the trip we got to the airport checked our bags in and proceeded to our gate. about 1.5 hr later our gate had changed. which wasnt a big deal because we was right next to it since i have a toddler as we proceeded to wait our flight was delayed and again our gate was changed to the opposite side of the airport. as we got to the gate once again our flight was delayed 3x before they again proceeded to change the gate for them to tell us after almost 9.5 hrs that our flight was cancel and that we needed to go home because they didnt have no other flights available since it was all booked for the next couple of days and we can go pick up our luggage. we waited about another hr to get our luggage worse experience ever. read more

In this difficult time of my grandmothers passing, JetBlue has been amazing! Their customer service department was so kind and helpful with getting me a bereavement discount and a flight that worked with my budget and busy work schedule. Truly appreciate that! The flight was fantastic, I flew on the A320 (If I'm not mistaken) which had tons of space and was very comfortable - the onboard crew was lovely and the use of Dunkin Donuts coffee along with the new partnership with Amazon was a great touch that took the experience to a different level, something other airlines don't tend to focus on. Definitely will be relying on JetBlue for future travels, I just hope my next flight with them will be under better circumstances. Thanks once again JetBlue. Great company. Great flight. I have actually waited a couple of days to write this review just to cool off. I recently took a flight from Tampa to San Juan, Puerto Rico after driving from my home in Tallahassee Fl. The flight out of Tampa was delayed three hours resulting in missed dinner reservations. This in and of itself was not the deal breaker since these things do happen when flying. On the return trip we were stuck in the Jet Blue terminal for 7 hours, the 8:30 AM flight landed with maintenance issues. During the intervening hours the Jet Blue staff provided very little information only after you aggressively sought out the information. The Jet Blue employees were actually actively trying to avoid the customers. With no hope of getting reliable or truthful information we proactively re-booked ourselves (via the phone, Jet Blue staff at the terminal would not) on a 5:30 PM flight. After 7 hours our original flight was switched to another plane and managed to only get off the ground an hour before our rescheduled 5:30 flight which itself was delayed half an hour. It is beyond me that Jet Blue can stay in business, bad equipment and employees who have never heard of customer service. If the "Jet Blue Experience" is to have people try their airline for one round trip and never ever return to their carrier, they nailed it!!! read more

I travel 4-8 times a year. Today I had a horrible experience with a JetBlue staff member when JetBlue decided to change / delay the flight without notifying my wife and I. My wife and I arrived at SJU 3 hour before our original flight and was sitting down in the wrong terminal until we notice that it was 6pm and it was browsing time. I went and spoke to a customer service rep. Who told me ( I'm sorry just deal with it, it's a mechanical problem) I told the JetBlue employee that I'm scheduled to work at 12am that I'm a truck driver and he said well you just have to deal with it.... Don't do it! We had a cancelled flight that led to a host of bad customer service issues, - Were were inconsistently told the cancellation was due to bad weather or to mechanical issues. We still do not know which it was. If due to weather, we were frustrated to learn other airlines departed and landed the same city pairs we were supposed to fly between, in the same time frame. -Customer service was poor. After the flight finally cancelled (6 hours of waiting) there were LONG lines at the counter. Staff just stood around despite there being open computers. -Inconsistencies in customer service - some people received vouchers, others did not. Some received more vouchers than others, and some received greater flight credit compensation than others. Poor customer service! -Our baggage was unloaded from the plan long before we were actually notified of the flight cancellation. Why? I would seriously caution against using this airline. It is unreliable and there is little respect and care for customers. read more

Currently stuck in a delayed flight. The delays are hour by hour so that I have been here since 11am, hoping to fly out by 1pm. It's very inconsiderate. The staff is unsure why there is a delay and they continue to push back the delays hour by hour. They said we would depart by 2pm, then 3pm, then 4pm. It is currently 4pm and they again delayed by an hour to 5pm. I understand that delays occur but the communication to why there is a delay and if we are even going to take off at all is unclear. When we went to the counter they said we will now miss our connecting flight and said there is nothing they can do and that we have to stay in Puerto Rico for 2 additional days. They do not even volunteer that they will pay for these additional days and only when we show anger and present the topic do they say that they will but are vague about the details. Will not book Jet Blue again. This also sucks as Puerto Rico is trying to grow their tourism after the hurricane but after an experience like this, I do not plan to visit PR for a long time, if ever again. Update: 2 days later and still stuck in Puerto Rico. Same 'mechanical problem'. Recommend getting different airline other than jet blue. It is very frustrating seeing flights around you on schedule and Jet blue with the only mechanical problem. I was told that the mechanic has not arrived yet for the past 2 hours. Coldest plane I've ever been on. Was not allowed to be assigned a seat until right at the gate. Was assigned the emergency exit seats. All seats, especially ours, have a lot of leg room. Unfortunately my seat did not recline so I sat in a very upright position for the entire flight. The flight staff was rude. Overall a way more comfortable ride than other more discounted airlines, but not necessarily comfortable. read more

I only give Jet Blue 1 star only because I had to. Worst experience . Flight was severely delayed. We were told mechanical but then as delays start pushing back time more and more it became weather related. I voiced my concerns with Ashley at the counter and told her the mess this was creating for us in Tampa ( our final destination) . She told me to call reservations for compensation. I called and informed the male on the phone that because it was weather related, I was out of luck. I told him it was a mechanical issue to begin with. He basically called me a liar to which I put another representative named Wilmalyz on my phone. She told him it started as mechanical then changed to weather. After I hung up with reservations, I addressed Wilmalyz. I explained that we were informed it was mechanical and that this delayed has cost me a hotel room i paid for already and a taxi ride to the hotel since my original ride was no longer able to pick me up. Jet Blue in general I feel you one of the best airlines, deserving of a five star rating. Always very accommodating. However for today 1 star. And it should be easy to remedy. Because I'm in a financial bind and find myself having to purchase another fight, I booked the flight last night and paid dollars. I called today to see if I could have account credited and use Jet Blue points (I have more than 80,000 Jet Blue points) instead. And no because the flight is less the 7 days out (it's 6 days out) I'd only received a Jet Blue credit voucher for the amount charged to my credit card and I'd have to a cancellation fee. Seriously though???? This is a hard ship. I have to go because I must replace the roof. ~$6,600. Couldn't go sooner because of a doctors appointment. Can't go later cause it's urgent. Seriously? I'm taking the same trip I just want to use points I've earned. So I can't use my points without getting penalized, $75 and card can't be credited either. I recently had to get off island. MARIA was coming. My flight was scheduled for late afternoon( only flight I could find) Went to airport 12 hours before my scheduled flight. Waited inline approximately 15 minutes. Agent was very pleasant considering all that was going on. I wish I knew the agent name. She was able to get me on next flight. I was home with my family before I was originally scheduled to leave the island. Flight only cost $200. While Other airlines raised prices or would sell you flights only with points. Twice as many points as normally. First time ever on JETBLUE GREAT JOB! I have read most of the other reviews on jetblue. I'm sure the man who was upset about a delay because of a mechanical issue would rather be safe then on time. Many have given bad reviews because of weather. Really Jetblue can't control the weather. Jetblue went above and Beyond to get as many people out of arms any before Maria as they could. Adding additional flights and not raising the price of flights.
